The American University in Cairo (AUC) is hosting the “Road to 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit: Cairo.” The event is in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce and the Egypt-U.S. Business Council.
GES is a series of global events to celebrate entrepreneurs and their achievements all over the world. GES 2016 will be the seventh global event hosted at Silicon Valley, following previous summits at US, Turkey, UAE, Malaysia, Morocco and Kenya. GES 2016 aims to showcase inspiring entrepreneurs and investors from around the world creating new opportunities for investment, partnership and collaboration.
Leading to GES 2016, a number of entrepreneurial cities around the globe are organizing “Road to GES” events. The Cairo Road to GES is a full day packed with international and Egyptian speakers, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers gathering at AUC to discuss the state of entrepreneurship in Egypt and the region, to celebrate success stories and to generate energy and excitement around the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
