Cambridge International Examinations hosted special ceremonies in Egypt to celebrate the achievement of their outstanding learners
Egypt, 28 March 2016: Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and the British Council in Egypt, celebrated the achievements of students from over 20 schools across the country who performed exceptionally well in their Cambridge examinations at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards held at on the 22nd and 23rd of March in Alexandria and Cairo respectively.
The Outstanding Leaner Awards recognise exceptional learner achievements in Cambridge examinations around the world. These awards are aimed at celebrating and recognising the success of high-performing Cambridge learners. All Cambridge International Examinations students are eligible for prestigious awards such as 'Top in the World', 'Top in Country', and 'Best Across' award in subjects such as Maths, Chemistry and Economics and 'High Achievement'.
Yasmine Richard, an outstanding winner told us: ‘It’s so wonderful to be here tonight, and be recognised for the hard work I put in! I’m simply ecstatic right now!’
Nader Raafat, another winner told us ‘The Cambridge International Examinations program has helped prepare me for university, as they don’t just provide material to be learned, but also focus on the application just as much as the learning. It is these skills which I have developed that are helping me at university now”.
Cambridge International Examinations continues to focus on helping schools worldwide to achieve higher standards of quality education, as they continue to revise their programmes to help reflect developments in education. Cambridge International Examinations also focuses on enhancing professional development, as well as providing and developing new support services.

جوائز "كامبردج للطلاب المتميزين" تحتفل بتفوق مجموعة من الطلبة المصريين المشاركين في "اختبارات كامبردج الدولية"
القاهرة، 28 مارس 2016: أقامت "اختبارات كامبردج الدولية" والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني على مدار يومي 22 و23 مارس في مقر المجلس الثقافي البريطاني في القاهرة والإسكندرية حفل توزيع جوائز "كامبردج للطلاب المتميزين" من المرحلة الثانوية والتي شاركت بها أكثر من 90 من المدارس التي شاركت في الاختبارات من مختلف محافظات الجمهورية.
وتحتفل هذه الجائزة بالإنجازات الأكاديمية المتميزة للطلبة الذين شاركوا في اختبارات كامبردج الدولية حول العالم، وهي متاحة لجميع الطلبة المشاركين في الاختبارات للتنافس على فئات "الأفضل على مستوى العالم" و "الأفضل على مستوى الدولة" و"الأفضل في مادة معينة" والتي تمنح للطلبة المتميزين في مواد، مثل الرياضيات والكيمياء والاقتصاد، بالإضافة إلى فئة "الإنجاز الهام".
وبهذه المناسبة، قال وسيم الحنبلي، المدير الإقليمي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا: "لقد سعدنا بزيارة المدارس المشاركة معنا من جمهورية مصر العربية، ولقاء أولياء الأمور والتلاميذ، وشرف لنا أن نشهد هذا العدد الكبير من الفائزين المتميزين من الجمهورية كل عام، فهم جادون في مشاركتهم ومصممون على تحقيق التفوق، ونحن نتمنى لهم دوام التوفيق والنجاح في خطواتهم المستقبلية."
وقالت ياسمين ريتشارد، مدرسة أكتوبر للغات وإحدى الفائزات بالجائزة: "أنا سعيدة جداً وفخورة بهذا التكريم الذي يحتفي بما بذلته من جهد."
وقال نادر نبيل، الطالب بالمدرسة الانجليزية الحديثة وأحد الطلبة المكرمين: "لقد ساعدني برنامج اختبارات كامبردج الدولية في الاستعداد لدخول المرحلة الجامعية، حيث أنها لا تركز فقط على المواد الدراسية، ولكن تهتم أيضاً بكيفية صياغة طلب الالتحاق بالجامعة، وهي المهارات التي طورتها وتساعدني كثيراً خلال مرحلتي الجامعية الآن."
وتسهم اختبارات كامبردج الدولية في مساعدة المدارس حول العالم للوصول إلى أعلى المعايير في جودة التعليم، وهي مستمرة في مراجعة برامجها وتطويرها لتواكب مستجدات وتوجهات العملية التعليمية، بالإضافة إلى أن اختبارات كامبردج الدولية تركز أيضاً على التطوير المهني وتوفير وابتكار خدمات جديدة.
