[7 March 2016] From fashionable Tokyo street food to traditional Kyoto cuisine, step inside Toko Dubai this March and be taken on a culinary journey through Japan, even if just for a little while with Toko’s food escapade, ‘Taste of Japan’.
This exciting gastronomic experience crafted by Chef Alexander Stumpf, will take you through a fascinating culinary discovery of the multi faceted cuisines of five different regions in Japan. The first stop will be in Tokyo where you can expect to savour Takoyaki and Tuna Tataki with Ginger Lime Soy, then it is off to Fukuoka to sample Grilled Scallop Apple & Wasabi and Scampi Nigiri with Foie Gras & Black Truffle. Next stop is Kyoto where dishes include Short Ribs Gyoza with Wasabi Ponzu and Chicken Yakitori and then, Hokkaido for Grilled Smoked Miso Marinated Salmon and Nasu Miso and ending things off on a sweet note in Osaka for Spiced Pineapple with Kuro Goma Ice Cream.
