Booth Overview

Camera/Studio System
The AK-UC3000 is a handy HD studio camera with 4K technology offering superior sensitivity and greater resolution.
The AK-UB300 4K multipurpose camera is an ideal unit for weather and traffic reporting and image magnifications.
It’s also equipped with a one-inch MOS sensor that outputs a UHD signal 3840x2160/59.94p/50p with the ability to simultaneously output HD (up to 1080/59.94p/50p).

P2 Cast – ENG Workflow Innovation
P2 Cast is a cloud-based news production system that leverages the network features of Panasonic’s P2 HD Camcorders with AVC-Ultra Recording – for instance, the AJ-PX380.
P2 Cast integrates the network capability of this unit, so content uploaded to the cloud is immediately available for reviewing and editing.
This enables broadcasters to see breaking news in near-real time, as a journalist sitting in the office can simply download clips and start putting the story together.

Concept of Video over IP
The industry’s first professional 4K integrated PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera, AW-UE70 is perfect for system integrators. In addition to IP remote control, video streaming, SDI output and Genlock – the camera is equipped with PoE+ (Power over Ethernet). This enables it to be fully operated and powered with a single CAT5 cable. Apart from this, the camera not only delivers UHD images at 25p via HDMI, capable of 4K-streaming and in-camera 4K recording but is also Creston certified.
The AW-SF100 auto tracking software works alongside with Panasonic’s PTZ cameras to smoothly track movements on a live production without the need for extra hardware such as infrared sensors.
Auto Tracking is a software-based solution which can seamlessly track a person in a crowd like a conference/lecture hall.
This enables the user to wirelessly move, zoom and focus on different people – making it easier to produce seminars effortlessly.
This is compatible with both, the AW-UE70 4K remote camera and the AW-SF100.

Also of interest is the concept of Video over IP, a next-generation system for broadcasting. Video over IP can not only reduce system costs and make it easier to install broadcast systems but also help ease the transition from 4K and 8K.
Panasonic considers interoperability and system flexibility as the most important benefits of this system. To achieve this, Panasonic has started standardization activities on Video over IP.
An interoperable system will be demonstrated at the Panasonic booth to explain this better.

4K Production
Unveiling for the very first time in the Middle East during CABSAT 2016, the VARICAM LT opens the door to new solutions with its multi-format friendly workflows. From in-camera color grading and 3D LUTs for on-set pre-visualization to its dual native ISOs, the VARICAM LT offers unique functionality to DPs and producers – truly the next generation of digital camera innovation.
The AG-DVX200 is a 4K large-sensor, 4/3" handheld camcorder offering multiple top-end features including a 13x optical zoom and a V-log L gamma curve.
