Daikin, the leader in manufacturing and production of cooling and heating solutions, announced that the AHU Factory in Jebel Ali is now Eurovent Certified. Earlier in December 2014, Daikin Middle East & Africa had started the new air handling unit factory in Jebel Ali to serve both local and regional markets from GCC, Middle East & Africa.
“The basis for the unit design follows the Professional Air Handling Unit design in our factory in Milan, Italy. While following the design and processes from our factory in Italy, we had access to a wide range of options and best practices in the construction of the units providing our customers with products that have the highest quality. With the Middle East becoming more concerned with energy efficiency, selecting the Professional series as our preferred product gives our customers access to all the energy efficient features available to Eurovent certified units with a fan array” said Kilian Kelly, Regional Business Director of Air Side products in Daikin MEA.
He added: “Locating the factory in Jebel Ali has also reduced our lead times, providing our customers with a better service and response time to not only deliver quickly and on time but also provide any additional backup or aftersales services they should wish to avail of.”
The factory has gone through many metamorphoses in the last 11 months. The first major step was moving into a new larger facility in April 2015 providing more flexibility and the ability to manufacture machines worth more than $1m per month. Approximately, a month later the ISO 9001 Certification procedure was completed, which is a prerequisite for the Eurovent Certification.
The factory has also invested in its own testing equipment, allowing the demonstration of compliance to the EN1886 standard for volumetric testing, leakage testing, and mechanical strength testing to the customers.
Daikin has been privileged with some of the projects the company has had the opportunity to produce. The highest specification has been for the Oil and Gas sector.
مصنع دايكن لوحدات معالجة الهواء في جبل علي يحصل على شهادة اعتماد يوروفنت

أعلنت شركة دايكن الرائدة في تصنيع وإنتاج حلول التبريد والتدفئة، عن حصول مصنعها في جبل علي على شهادة اعتماد يوروفنت. وكانت شركة دايكن الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا قد افتتحت في ديسمبر من عام 2014 مصنع وحدات معالجة الهواء بمنطقة جبل علي لتغطية احتياجات السوقين المحلي والإقليمي في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا.
وبهذه المناسبة قال كيليان كيلي، مدير الأعمال الإقليمي لمنتجات معالجة الهواء في دايكن الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا: "إن الأساس الذي قام عليه تصميم الوحدة يحاكي تصميم وحدة معالجة الهواء الاحترافية بمصنعنا في ميلان بإيطاليا. وفي الوقت الذي نعمل فيه على محاكاة التصميم والإجراءات المعتمدة ضمن مصنعنا في إيطاليا، نجحنا في تطبيق مجموعة واسعة من الخيارات وأفضل الممارسات في إطار إنشاء الوحدات بهدف تقديم منتجات عالية الجودة لعملائنا. ومع ازدياد اهتمام الشرق الأوسط بكفاءة استخدام الطاقة، فإن اختيار السلسلة الاحترافية باعتبارها منتجنا المفضل يتيح لعملائنا الحصول على جميع مميزات نظام كفاءة استخدام الطاقة المتوفر في الوحدات الحاصلة على شهادة اعتماد يوروفنت."
وأضاف كيليان: "لقد أسهم موقع المصنع في منطقة جبل علي في تقليص الفترات المحددة للتسليم، مما أتاح لعملائنا الحصول على خدمات أفضل واستجابة أسرع لاحتياجاتهم، ليس فقط من خلال سرعة التسليم في الوقت المحدد، ولكن عبر تقديم الدعم الإضافي وخدمات ما بعد البيع التي يرغبون في الاستفادة منها."
لقد شهد المصنع العديد من التحولات خلال الأشهر الأحد عشر الأخيرة. وكانت أولى الخطوات الكبيرة هي الانتقال إلى منشأة جديدة أكبر مساحة في أبريل 2015، مما أتاح توفير مزيد من المرونة والقدرة على تصنيع أجهزة تقدر بأكثر من مليون دولار شهرياً. وبعد شهر تقريباً، تم الانتهاء من إجراءات الحصول على شهادة أيزو 9001 التي تعد شرطاً أساسياً للحصول على شهادة اعتماد يوروفنت.
كذلك استثمر المصنع في معدات الاختبار الخاصة به، مما يؤكد لعملائنا التزامنا الكامل بالمواصفات القياسية الأوروبية (EN1886) للاختبار الحجمي، واختبار التسريب، واختبار القوة الميكانيكية.
وقد تولت دايكن إنجاز عدة المشاريع بخاصة في قطاع النفط والغاز.
