Participants to receive 25.5 hours of USA Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education-approved, knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education credits
UAE, February 20, 2016 - Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), an independent public joint stock company that owns and operates all public hospitals and clinics across the Emirates, hosts the first edition of the Abu Dhabi Pharmacy Conference. The event aims to bring together the most recognized names in healthcare and pharmacy practice worldwide, which starts on February 19, 2016 and will run until February 21, 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The pioneering event will give professionals from the pharmacy, medical operations and other healthcare services the opportunity to advance their careers, gain new knowledge, develop new ideas for their respective organizations and the opportunity to network with peers and experts in the field. In addition, participants will receive 25.5 hours of Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education-approved (ACPE), knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education credits as well as 21 CME from the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD).
The event will feature presentations, workshops, exhibitions and networking sessions that will allow participants to meet and interact with pharmacy professionals and industry experts and leaders. The conference will highlight top patient care, pharmacy practice and industry concerns like advances in pharmacy practice, medication safety, informatics, ambulatory care and pharmacy innovations. Workshops during the conference will facilitate by leading pharmacy professionals and will tackle key topics like the implementation of USP797 and USP800; identifying risk with high alert medications; enhancing patient experience in the ambulatory setting and clinical cases in parenteral nutrition, to name a few.

The conference is expected to attract the participation of over 1,500 attendees. Aside from the planned workshops and lectures, the event will also host an exhibition for healthcare and pharmaceutical companies from the region and beyond to showcase and leverage their products across participating health care professionals. The first Abu Dhabi Pharmacy Conference is being supported by leading industry companies such as Pfizer, Sanofi, Novartis, Sandoz, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, AstraZeneca, and Carefusion.

الإمارات، 20 فبراير 2016 – تستضيف شركة أبوظبي للخدمات الصحية "صحة"، وهي شركة مساهمة عامة مستقلة تمتلك وتدير جميع المستشفيات والمرافق الصحية العامة في أبوظبي، الدورة الأولى من "مؤتمر أبوظبي للصيدلة" الذي إنطلق يوم الجمعة 19 فبراير 2016 ويستمر لغاية 21 فبراير الجاري في مركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض. ويستقطب الحدث نخبة من أبرز الشخصيات والخبراء في قطاع الرعاية الصحية والصيدلة تحت سقف واحد للإستفادة من الفرص المتاحة لتعزيز مسارهم المهني وإكتساب المزيد من المعرفة وتطوير الأفكار الجديدة على المستوى المؤسّسي وترسيخ أواصر التواصل المباشر مع نظرائهم في القطاع. وعلاوةً على ذلك، سيحصل المشاركون في الحدث على 25.5 ساعة دراسية معتمدة من "مجلس الإعتماد للتعليم الصيدلي"ACPE) ) في مجال التعليم المستمر القائم على المعرفة في مجال الصيدلة، بالإضافة إلى 21 ساعة من هيئة الصحة في أبوظبي.
وسيتخلّل جدول أعمال "مؤتمر أبوظبي للصيدلة"، سلسلة من ورش العمل والمعارض وعروض تقديمية وجلسات التواصل التي ستتيح للحاضرين منصة ممتازة للإلتقاء والتفاعل مع كبار الخبراء في مجال الممارسات الصيدلية وروّاد القطاع للوقوف على أهم القضايا والموضوعات الأساسية المتعلقة بمهنة الصيدلة والسلامة الدوائية والمعلوماتية والرعاية الصحية المتنقلة والابتكار في مجال الصيدلة. وستتمحور ورش العمل، التي سيترأسها عددٌ من أهم المتخصّصين في مجال الصيدلة، حول عدّة مواضيع رئيسية منها تطبيق المعايير الدولية "يو. إس. بي. 797" (USP797) و"يو. إس. بي 800" (USP800)، وتحديد مخاطر إستخدام الأدوية عالية الخطورة، وتعزيز تجربة المرضى في مجال الرعاية الصحية المتنقّلة وتحسين خدمات التغذية الوريدية وغيرها.

ويستقطب "مؤتمر أبوظبي للصيدلة" ما يزيد على 1500 زائر للمشاركة الفاعلة في ورش العمل والمحاضرات المتعدّدة. كما ويتضمّن الحدث معرضاً مخصّصاً لشركات الرعاية الصحية والصيدلة من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة لإستعراض محفظة منتجاتها وخدماتها المتنوّعة أمام قاعدة واسعة من الزوّار والمتخصّصين. ويُذكر أن الدورة الأولى من الحدث تحظى بدعم من كبرى الشركات التجارية الرائدة في المجال مثل "فايزر" و"سانوفي" و"نوفارتس" و"ساندوز" و"باير للأدوية" و"أمجين" و"استرازينيكا" و"كيرفيوجن".
