A lecture, “From the Oasis to the River: The Archeology of Farafra, Western Desert,” organized by the Egyptology Unit in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology and Egyptology at The American University in Cairo, in cooperation of The Egyptology Association. The lecture will discuss the history of the Farafra oasis according to recent discoveries.
