February 16, 2016 – Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, announced the appointment of Luc Chantepy as Regional Sales Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa region. Chantepy brings to AspenTech more than 15 years of solution selling experience, most recently as Global Sales Vice President at Schneider Electric, a $25B provider of industrial automation and energy management products.
In addition to leading Schneider Electric’s Middle East sales organization for the oil & gas market, Chantepy also served as Country President of the company’s Kazakhstan operation, and worked in a number of roles across Project Management and Services. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences, in Lyon, France.
Chantepy assumes leadership of the Middle East sales operation from John Hague, who transitions to a new role in AspenTech’s Corporate Development team, as Senior Vice President, Strategy.
