Chef Samantha of Gloria Hotels scores top awards at international competition


La Cuisine by SIAL, a networking and competitive event for food professionals organized by the Emirates Culinary Guild of Abu Dhabi in collaboration with World Association of Chefs' Societies, was held on the 7th to the 9th of December at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC.)
Top international chefs from all corners of the globe participated in a variety of competitions aiming to win prestigious awards and prizes. Chef Samantha Kumara of Gloria Hotel and Yassat Gloria Hotel & Apartments managed to walk away from the competition as Best Kitchen Artist along with 4 awards to his name individual ice carving, prepared open showpiece, live vegetable carving and chocolate showpiece.
(ESC) competition is a series of practical and display-based culinary contests with gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates awarded to those competitors whose exhibits, in the opinion of the judges, have reached the commensurate international standard.
