UAE, November 1, 2015 - Dubai Smart Government Department (DSG) honoured 36 government entities, which jointly participated in the 35th edition of Gitex Technology Week 2015 and showcased their eServices and the latest smart apps, services and solutions at DSG’s 3,800-square metre unified stand. DSG’s services and apps as well as its innovative visions of the services and prospects of the government of the future, which was announced for the first time, were also showcased at Gitex 2015.
The honouring ceremony was held on the 1st of November, 2015 at the Inter-Continental Hotel, Dubai Festival City. It was attended by H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, DSG Director-General; Wesam Lootah, Asst. Director General; and Marwan Bin Haidar, DSG Executive Director of Planning & Development; in addition to a number of directors general, executives, senior officials and Gitex 2015 working teams.
After welcoming the attendees representing 36 government entities, Bin Humaidan delivered a speech in which he commended the government entities' successful participation in DSG's stand during Gitex 2015 and the practical opportunity that these government entities offered to more than 10,000 people who visited the stand to get familiar with the achievements made by Dubai Government during their process of transformation to smart government while aiming to add satisfaction and happiness to all when accessing government services. He pointed out that the services which the visitors the visitors tried out reflected the smart services of Dubai in the present and the future.
In his speech, Bin Humaidan pointed out that DSG’s strategy is based on engaging customers and using their opinions for developing the smart government services and apps as its methodology through the Customer Experience Lab, which attracted the attention of dignitaries, decision-makers, visiting delegations and the public.
Bin Humaidan valued the spirit of joint co-operation and co-ordination that prevailed among this large number of government entities that took part in DSG's stand at Gitex 2015, stressing DSG's commitment to employ its advanced infrastructure, smart service systems and high-level technical support to upgrade the performance of smart services and make a positive imprint in terms of completing transformation to the connected, integrated smart government and ensuring that Dubai become the smartest city in the world.
Following a short documentary on the most important activities witnessed by the stand, Sumaia Bin Hammad, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications Department, who was also the DSG Gitex team leader, mentioned some relevant statistics: More than 10,000 people visited the stand and learnt about more than 100 smart device apps and services that were showcased by all the government entities. During Gitex week, 5 press conferences were held, and 14 MoUs were signed. Some 21 entities gave over 300 smart devices to lucky visitors and survey participants, she said, adding that the government entities gave 33 lectures and presentations about smart services and apps to the visitors.
The media coverage was comprehensive across all channels and the DSG dedicated website http://gitex.dubai.ae; as well as social media channels. This way, all followers were able to stay updated on the achievements of Dubai Government in its quest to be the smartest city in the world, Bin Hammad noted.
Bin Hammad pointed out that satisfaction rate of the participating entities was 84.8 per cent, based on the feedback of the survey distributed to all its partners.
At the end of the ceremony, Bin Humaidan honoured all the teams representing the government entities who had jointly participated under the DSG banner at this year’s edition of Gitex.

"حكومة دبي الذكية" تحتفي بالجهات الحكومية المشاركة بمنصتها في جيتكس 2015 وتكرّمها
الإمارات، 1 نوفمبر، 2015 - كرّمت دائرة حكومة دبي الذكية الجهات الحكومية التي شاركت في "أسبوع جيتكس للتقنية 2015" في دورته الخامسة والثلاثين، عبر منصتها التي امتدت على مساحة 3800 متر مربع، والتي عرضت من خلالها أمام الزوار خلاصة ما أبدعته 36 جهة حكومية من خدمات إلكترونية وأحدث الحلول والخدمات والتطبيقات الذكية التي أصبحت واقعاً مُعاشاً في دبي، إلى جانب خدمات وتطبيقات حكومة دبي الذكية ورؤاها المبتكرة لخدمات وآفاق حكومة المستقبل والتي تم الإعلان عنها للمرة الأولى.
وحضر حفل التكريم الذي أقيم في فندق إنتركونتيننتال فستيفال سيتي، سعادة أحمد بن حميدان مدير عام الدائرة، وكلٌ من وسام لوتاه مساعد المدير العام ومروان بن حيدر المدير التنفيذي للتخطيط والتطوير، إلى جانب عدد من مديري العموم للجهات الحكومية المكرمة والمديرين التنفيذيين والمسؤولين وفرق عمل الجهات الحكومية في جيتكس 2015.
وبعد الترحيب بالحضور الممثلين للجهات الحكومية المكرمة، ألقى سعادة أحمد بن حميدان كلمة أثنى فيها على المشاركة الناجحة لهذه الجهات في منصة حكومة دبي الذكية خلال جيتكس 2015، وإتاحتهم الفرصة العملية أمام أكثر من 10 آلاف شخص قاموا بزيارة المنصة ليعيشوا لحظات الرضا والسعادة التي منحهم إياها الاطلاع عن قرب على الإنجازات التي تمت في مسيرة التحول نحو الحكومة الذكية وأبدعتها تلك الجهات الحكومية، واضعة نُصب عينيها أن تُضفي منتهى الرضا والسعادة على كل لحظات متعاملي حكومة دبي عند حصولهم على الخدمات، مشيراً إلى أن تلك الخدمات التي قام الزوار بتجربتها عملياً والتفاعل معها مثلت تجسيداً واقعياً للخدمات الذكية لـ "دبي الحاضر والمستقبل".
وعرّج بن حميدان في كلمته على استراتيجية حكومة دبي الذكية التي تعتمد إشراك جمهور المتعاملين وتبنّي آرائهم في تطوير الخدمات والتطبيقات الحكومية الذكية كمنهج لها من خلال "مختبر تصميم تجربة المتعامل"، الذي عرض نتائج نوعية لتلك التجربة استقطبت اهتمام كبار الزوار ومتخذي القرار والوفود الزائرة إلى جانب الجمهور.
وثمّن سعادته روح التعاون والتنسيق المشترك التي سادت بين هذا العدد الكبير من الجهات الحكومية التي شاركت في منصة الدائرة بمعرض جيتكس 2015، مشدداً على التزام دائرة حكومة دبي الذكية بتوظيف الممكنات العالية المتاحة لديها، من بنية تحتية متطورة وأنظمة خدمات ذكية ودعم فني عالي المستوى، في سبيل مواصلة السير قدماً للارتقاء بأداء الخدمات الذكية وإحداث بصمة إيجابية على صعيد المساهمة في إتمام التحول إلى الحكومة الذكية المتكاملة المترابطة والوصول بدبي إلى المدينة الأذكى عالمياً.
وبعد عرض فيلم قصير حول أهم الفعاليات التي شهدتها المنصّة، تحدثت سميّة بن حمّاد، مدير إدارة التسويق والاتصال المؤسسي/ رئيسة فريق عمل جيتكس في الدائرة، عن أهم إنجازات المنصّة، موضحة أن عدد زوّار المنصّة في هذه الدورة تجاوز الـ 10 آلاف زائر اطلعوا على أكثر من 100 خدمة وتطبيق للأجهزة الذكية عرضتها الجهات الحكومية مجتمعة، وجرى خلال الأسبوع عقد 5 مؤتمرات صحفية وتوقيع 14 مذكرة تفاهم واتفاقية بين الجهات الحكومية وشركائها. وأضافت بن حماد أن عدد الجهات التي شاركت في تقديم الجوائز التحفيزية للزوار وللمشاركين في استطلاعات الرأي بلغ "21" جهة، وقدمت جوائز متنوعة لنحو 300 فائز. كما قامت الجهات الحكومية بعرض 33 محاضرة وعرضاً تقديمياً للزوار حول الخدمات والتطبيقات الذكية.
وعلى صعيد التغطية الإعلامية التي صاحبت المعرض، ذكرت بن حمّاد أنها كانت شاملة عبر مختلف أنواع القنوات الإعلامية المقروءة والمسموعة والمرئية، مع التركيز هذا العام على قنوات التواصل الاجتماعي للوصول إلى أكبر شريحة من المهتمين لتوعيتهم بمستجدات التحول الذكي وإنجازات الجهات الحكومية في هذا المجال، وإبراز الوجه المشرق لدبي كمدينة تسعى إلى أن تكون الأذكى في العالم، علاوة على موقع الدائرة الخاص بجيتكس http://gitex.dubai.ae. وأشارت سمية بن حماد إلى أن نسبة الرضا العام للجهات الحكومية المشاركة في المنصة بلغت هذا العام "84,8%" بناء على الاستبيان الذي تم توزيعه على الجهات الحكومية المشاركة.
وفي ختام الفعالية كرّم بن حميدان جميع الفرق الممثلة للدوائر والجهات الحكومية التي شاركت في دورة هذا العام من خلال منصة حكومة دبي الذكية.
