The Copthorne Hotel Dubai recently hosted a 'Wellness Day' that was organised to provide complimentary medical checkup of the hotel's guests, staff and local community. The program was headed by Dr. Lohi Babu Elpula, General Practitioner at Unicare Medical Centre M.B. B.S., MD (OSM) who was assisted by a team of health personnel. On the day, over 44 people including guests and staff, took advantage of the opportunity and underwent a general health assessment.
Glenn Nobbs, General Manager, Copthorne Hotel Dubai, said, "We are committed to supporting any such well-being initiatives in the interest of our community. It is aimed at making a positive difference to the lives of people. Regular medical check-ups help disease prevention and early detection, and we are glad a lot of people availed this opportunity."
Participants at the 'Wellness Day' in the Copthorne Hotel Dubai were given a GP consultation as well as measurement of BMI, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

فندق كوبثورن دبي يستضيف "يوم العافية"
استضاف فندق كوبثورن دبي مؤخرا "يوم العافية" الذي تم تنظيمه لتقديم فحص طبي مجاني لنزلاء الفندق والموظفين والمجتمع المحلي. وترأس البرنامج الدكتور لوهي بابو إلبولا الممارس العام في مركز يونيكير الطبي، و الذي ساعده فريق من العاملين في المجال الصحي. في ذلك اليوم أكثر من 44 شخصاً بينهم زوار وموظفين استفادوا من الفرصة وخضعوا لتقييم الصحة العامة.
وقال جلين نوبس المدير العام لفندق كوبثورن دبي، "نحن ملتزمون بدعم مثل هذه المبادرات من أجل مصلحة مجتمعنا، و التي تهدف إلى إحداث تغيير إيجابي في حياة الناس. الفحوص الطبية المنتظمة تساعد على الوقاية من الأمراض واكتشافها المبكر، ونحن سعداء أن عدداً من الناس استفاد من هذه الفرصة ".

وتلقى المشاركون في "يوم العافية" بفندق كوبثورن دبي المشورة الطبية من الممارس العام، وكذلك قياس مؤشر كتلة الجسم، ومستويات ضغط الدم ونسبة السكر في الدم.
