Massive construction projects abound particularly around social & transport infrastructure
Riyadh – October 18th, 2015: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) construction industry is expected to continue its growth for the next few years, fuelled by massive construction projects, particularly around social and transport infrastructure that offer multi-billion-Saudi Riyals opportunities to contractors and investors. The local market is set to witness a pick-up in project activity supported by increasing private and public investments, boosting the projects’ numbers and values. Currently, the KSA’s general real estate sector is valued at SAR 2250 billion, while infrastructure amounts to SAR 1312.25 billion and on-going projects represent 82.4 per cent of total construction activity, showing the continuous development and growth.
Hailed as the largest business-to-business construction fair in the Kingdom, Saudi Build plays a leading role in the transfer of technology between the KSA and its trading partners. Throughout its 27-year history, the exhibition has provided a dedicated avenue for tens of thousands of leading manufacturers and exporters from all over the world and hundreds of thousands of importers and industry professionals from across the region. It has facilitated the leveraging of numerous opportunities in the KSA’s construction market, proving to be the focal point for its growing and diverse construction market.
Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Abdullatif Bin Abdulmalik Al AlShaikh, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, KSA, Saudi Build 2015 – the 27th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition will be held from Muharram 13th to 16th 1437 Hijri which coincides from October 26th to 29th, 2015 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC). It aims to attract companies from around the globe, offering a comprehensive set of solutions covering all aspects of the construction industry.
Approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Saudi Build 2015 will be held concurrently with Saudi Stone-Tech 2015 – the 18th International Stone and Stone Technology Exhibition, and the Saudi Build PMV Series – the 16th International Exhibition for Construction Equipment, Plant, Machinery and Vehicles. The event will provide contractors, real estate developers and building owners with a full range of building solutions.

السعودية تقدّم فرصاً إستثمارية واسعة لقطاع البناء والتشييد
الريّاض، 18 أكتوبر 2015 - يتوقع أن يواصل قطاع البناء والتشييد في المملكة العربية السعودية نموه خلال السنوات القليلة المقبلة، مدعوماً بمشاريع الإنشاء الضخمة وخاصة في البنى التحتية الاجتماعية والنقل والتي توفر لشركات المقاولات والمستثمرين فرصاً بمليارات الرّيالات السعودية. ومن المقرر أن يشهد السوق المحلي إنتعاشاً في نشاط المشاريع يدعم ذلك زيادة إستثمارات القطاعين العام والخاص وإرتفاع عدد وقيمة المشاريع المزمع تنفيذها. وتقدّر قيمة القطاع العقاري في المملكة العربية السعودية حالياً بـ 2250 مليار ريال سعودي، في حين تبلغ قيمة مشاريع البنية التحتية 1312.25 مليار ريال سعودي، حيث تمثل المشاريع الجاري تنفيذها 82.4% من إجمالي النشاط الإنشائي، ما يعكس التطور والنمو المستمر في هذا القطاع.
ويلعب "معرض البناء السعودي"، الذي يوصف بأنه أكبر معرض تجاري في مجال الإنشاءات على مستوى المملكة، دوراً رائداً في نقل التكنولوجيا بين المملكة العربية السعودية وشركائها التجاريين. وعبر تاريخه الممتد على مدى 27 عاماً، وفر المعرض منصة متخصصة لعشرات آلاف الشركات المصنعة والمصدرين من مختلف أنحاء العالم ومئات آلاف المستوردين والمختصين من أنحاء المنطقة. كما سهل الاستفادة من الفرص العديدة المتوفرة في سوق البناء والتشييد السعودي، مبرهناً على دوره كحدث محوري في سوق الإنشاءات المتنامي والمتنوع.
وسيعقد "معرض البناء السعودي"، المعرض التجاري الدولي السابع والعشرون لتقنيات ومواد البناء والذي يقام تحت رعاية معالي المهندس عبد اللطيف بن عبد الملك آل الشيخ، وزير الشؤون البلدية والقروية، خلال الفترة من 13 – 16 محرم 1437 هـ الموافق 26 ولغاية 29 أكتوبر في مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض. ويسعى المعرض إلى استقطاب الشركات من مختلف أنحاء العالم، حيث يقدم مجموعة شاملة من الحلول التي تغطي كافة جوانب القطاع الإنشائي.
وباعتماد الاتحاد الدولي لصناعة المعارض" يو أف آي"، يقام "معرض البناء السعودي 2015" بالتزامن مع "المعرض السعودي لتقنيات الحجر 2015"، المعرض الدولي الثامن عشر للحجر وتقنيات ومعدات تصنيع الأحجار؛ و"المعرض السعودي للمعدات الثقيلة وآليات ومركبات البناء 2015"، المعرض الدولي السادس لمعدات وآليات ومواقع ومركبات البناء. وسيقوم المعرض بتزويد شركات المقاولات والتطوير العقاري وأصحاب المباني بمجموعة كاملة من حلول البناء والتشييد.
