Iran has incredible potential, says Amin Salari, the president of Iranian Aviation and space Industries Association who is patronizing the event.  A US$500bn economy, a young and well educated population of 77mn, the country has had recent success with taming inflation, reducing unemployment and stabilizing its currency Iran’s Rial. Indeed, Iranian Airlines like Iran Air & Mahan Air have plans to ultimately aim to compete with regional carriers and their hubs. 36 foreign and domestic airlines serve Iran, a number of which have recently announced plans to expand capacity in 2014 and 2015. Iran is proving to be a hotspot for airport development and have plans to increase their aviation assets manifold, said Amin Salari.

He also added that: The Iran’s capital city - Tehran offers interesting potential as global hub, with flight time advantages to almost every region across the globe due to its strategic geographical location. “Tehran has become a hot destination for foreign delegations, jockeying for position ahead of the lucrative new market opening for business and civil aviation sector infrastructure development programs has been given a fast track. Of the 51 existing Airports, 27 will be undergoing major rehabilitation and refurbishment program with new terminals also coming up making Iran, a dynamic hotspot for airport development”, Amin Salari added.

According to Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, the country will need to acquire 400-500 airliners valued at more than USD 20 billion over the coming decade to renew its ageing aircraft fleet. In addition to fleet upgrades, Iran's airport infrastructure will also see massive investment opportunities on radar, air traffic management, the landside, airside and utilities requirements at airports and passenger experience will be key opportunity areas for international firms. We invite the Iranian and International airport, aviation companies those are interested to grab their market share in the fastest growing Iran’s civil aviation industry at the Iran Airport, Aviation Development Forum, added Amin Salari added.

قطاع الطيران المدني في إيران يسعى للوصول الى آفاق جديدة

أمين سلاري، رئيس جمعية صناعة الفضاء والطيران الإيرانية التي ترعى هذا الملتقى، اكد على ان إيران لديها امكانات هائلة تكمن في اقتصادها الذي تصل قميته الى قرابة 500 مليار دولار امريكي، اضافة الى السكان الشباب والمتعلمين والذين يصل تعدادهم الى 77 مليون نسمة كما استطاعت الدولة مؤخرا ان تحقق نجاحات عدة على المستوى الإقتصادي تمثلت بالسيطرة على التضخم والحد من البطالة اضافة الى استقرار عملتها المحلية. واضاف سلاري ان الخطوط الجوية الإيرانية مثل "ايران للطيران" و "ماهان للطيران" لديها خطط تهدف الى الوصول لمرحلة تنافس فيها شركات الطيران الإقليمية، فحاليا هناك 36 شركة طيران أجنبية ومحلية تخدم ايران وقد اعلنت بعضها عن خططها لتوسيع الطاقة الإستيعابية  في عام 2014 و عام 2015. ومن خلال هذا الملتقى، تسعى ايران الى ان تبرهن انها مركز لتطوير المطارات وصناعات الطيران، ولتكشف عن خططها لزيادة اصول واسهم الطيران لديها.

وعقب سلاري قائلا "ان العاصمة الإيرانية طهران تقدم إمكانات مثيرة للاهتمام كمركز عالمي للطيران خاصة مع مزايا زمن الرحلة إلى كل منطقة تقريبا في جميع أنحاء العالم نظرا لموقعها الجغرافي الاستراتيجي. حيث أصبحت طهران وجهة ساخنة للوفود الأجنبية التي تسعى الى حجز مكان لها في السوق المربح الجديد الذي يختص بأعمال وصناعة الطيران المدني وبرامج تطوير البنى التحتية للقطاع. فمن بين 51 مطارا حاليا في الدولة، سيخضع 27 منها لعملية إعادة تأهيل شاملة مما سيجعل ايران مركزا ديناميكيا لتطوير المطارات وصناعة الطيران".

ووفقا للمنظمة الإيرانية للطيران المدني، فإن البلاد تحتاج لشراء 400 الى 500 طائرة قيمتها اكثر من 20 مليار دولار خلال السنوات العشر المقبلة وذلك لتجديد اسطول طائراتها الحالي. كما ان الامر لن يقتصر على الطائرات، اذ ان التطوير سيشمل البنية التحتية للمطار بما فيها الرادارات  وإدارة الحركة الجوية والبرية و المدرجات والمرافق، مما يمثل فرصة مهمة للشركات الدولية. لذلك نحن ندعو المطارات الإيرانية و الدولية وشركات الطيران المختلفة لانتزاع حصتها في سوق صناعة الطيران المدني الايراني الأسرع نموا، وذلك خلال الملتقى الإيراني لتطوير المطار والطيران.
