UAE, October 10, 2015 - Dubai Smart Government Department (DSG) is all set to participate in the 35th edition of GITEX Technology Week 2015 to be held at the Sheikh Saeed Hall in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) between October 18 and 22. DSG announced that 36 government entities are participating this year at its 3,800 square metre stand and would showcase under one roof their latest government smart apps, services and solutions made throughout their journey towards smart government.
Earlier this year, DSG began its preparations by inviting its government partners to participate under one roof. DSG's dedicated teams also held many meetings with the government entities to listen to and fulfil their special requirements to ensure that these all would familiarize the various sections of society with their apps and services. Recently, DSG held its last co-ordination meeting with its partners to put the finishing touches on a concerted effort that would reflect an honourable image of their integration and synergy.
H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, DSG Director General, said: “In this year’s edition of GITEX we are providing a fully equipped platform for the public and visiting delegations to be familiar with the practical steps taken by DSG and Dubai government entities for transformation into smart government. This is in implementation of DSG's Strategic Plan 2014-2017, which was carefully formulated after the initiative of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and the directives of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, for the prompt shift to smart government.”
Bin Humaidan added: “Our stand will provide a real opportunity for visitors from all sections of society to be familiar with the latest smart government service apps and solutions provided by Dubai Government to reflect the connected smart government that will contribute to positioning Dubai as a knowledge-based, integrated and creative smart city in the 21st century. These apps and solutions will be tested live on the stand to enable visitors to see how efficient and smooth they are.”
Bin Humaidan explained that various areas have been allocated to enable the participating government entities to showcase their smart services and apps through a realistic model that would simulate smart services in a city seeking to be the smartest city in the world. Services and apps would be showcased live for most Dubai government entities including Dubai Municipality, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Police, Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Financial Market etc., so that users can test them and interact with the features.
In line with the DSG strategy, the stand visitors will be given the opportunity to express their opinions about Dubai Government's showcased smart services and apps with the aim of directing the government entities later to design smart apps from the perspective of customers and as per their needs.
Throughout the five-day event, DSG’s stand will feature an array of presentations and lectures highlighting many of its shared services and smartphone apps, whether by DSG or the entities participating in its stand. A number of bilateral agreements will be signed by the government entities and the beneficiaries with the aim of enhancing partnership and co-operation among them, seeking their full integration and providing more convenience and happiness to Dubai Government's customers.
Meanwhile, the stand will witness daily raffle draws for the users of the e/smart services provided by DSG and other government entities, for the visitors of its stand or for those attending any presentations on the stand. A large number of smart devices will be offered as prizes for this purpose.

"حكومة دبي الذكية" و36 جهة حكومية يستعدون لعرض إنجازات التحول الذكي في "جيتكس 2015" على منصة واحدة
الإمارات، 10 أكتوبر، 2015 - تواصل دائرة حكومة دبي الذكية استعداداتها للمشاركة في معرض "أسبوع جيتكس للتقنية 2015" في دورته الخامسة والثلاثين التي ستُعقد بقاعة الشيخ سعيد في "مركز دبي الدولي للمعارض والمؤتمرات" في الفترة من 18 إلى 22 أكتوبر الجاري.
وأعلنت الدائرة عن مشاركة 36 جهة حكومية هذا العام ضمن منصتها الممتدة على مساحة 3800 متر مربع، حيث ستعرض تلك الجهات وفي منصة واحدة أحدث الحلول والخدمات والتطبيقات الذكية الحكومية التي أنجزتها ضمن مسيرتها في التحول إلى الحكومة الذكية، واضعة نُصب عينيها أن تُضفي على كل لحظات متعاملي حكومة دبي منتهى الرضا والسعادة عند حصولهم على الخدمات الحكومية.
وكانت الدائرة قد بدأت استعداداتها في وقت سابق من هذا العام بتوجيه دعوات للجهات الحكومية شركائها في مسيرة التحول نحو الحكومة الذكية للمشاركة في منصة حكومة دبي الذكية كما عملت فرق العمل المتخصصة على عقد العديد من الاجتماعات معها للاستماع لمتطلباتهم الخاصة والعمل على تنفيذها لضمان توفير أفضل عوامل النجاح لتلك الجهات في تعريف الشرائح المجتمعية المتنوعة بتطبيقاتها وخدماتها. كما قامت الدائرة أخيراً بعقد اجتماعها التنسيقي الأخير مع تلك الجهات لوضع اللمسات النهائية بما يكفل نجاح مشاركتهم وإبراز صورة مشرفة لتكامل وتضافر الجهات الحكومية.
وقال سعادة أحمد بن حميدان، مدير عام دائرة حكومة دبي الذكية: "نعمل في دورة هذا العام من جيتكس على توفير كل ما يلزم على منصتنا أمام الجمهور والوفود الزائرة للاطلاع على الخطوات العملية التي تتبعها دائرتنا والجهات الحكومية في دبي للتحول إلى الحكومة الذكية؛ تنفيذاً للخطة الاستراتيجية لحكومة دبي الذكية 2014-2017 التي تمت صياغتها بعناية مباشرة بعد مبادرة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، وتنفيذاً لتوجيهات سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي رئيس المجلس التنفيذي في دبي بسرعة التحول للحكومة الذكية".
وأضاف سعادته قائلاً: "ستوفر منصتنا فرصة حقيقية لزوارها من جميع الشرائح المجتمعية للاطلاع من مكان واحد على أحدث الحلول وتطبيقات الخدمات الحكومية الذكية التي وفرتها حكومة دبي، تجسيداً للحكومة الذكية المترابطة التي ستساهم في الوصول إلى مدينة ذكية إبداعية متكاملة قائمة على المعرفة في القرن الحادي والعشرين وتجربتها مباشرة في المنصّة، والتعرف عن قرب إلى كفاءتها ومدى سلاستها".
وأوضح بن حميدان، أنه سيتم تخصيص مساحة على المنصة تتيح للجهات الحكومية المشارِكة عرض أبرز خدماتها وتطبيقاتها الذكية عبر نموذج يحاكي تجسيداً واقعياً للخدمات الذكية في المدينة التي تسعى أن تكون الأذكى في العالم، مشيراً إلى أن هذا الجزء من المنصة سيتيح لزوارها قضاء لحظات مفعمة بالسعادة عند قيامهم بتجربة حية؛ تمكنهم من التعرف إلى الخدمات الذكية التي يوفرها عدد من الجهات الحكومية في دبي، مثل: بلدية دبي، وهيئة الصحة، وهيئة كهرباء ومياه دبي، والقيادة العامة لشرطة دبي، وهيئة الطرق والمواصلات وسوق دبي المالي وغيرها من الجهات وتطبيقها عملياً والتفاعل معها في الوقت ذاته.
وتماشياً مع استراتيجية حكومة دبي الذكية الرامية للوصول إلى "حكومة منفتحة" تتيح حلولاً تقنية لتحقيق مشاركة المتعاملين عبر التعبير عن آرائهم في الخدمات الذكية المقدمة إليهم، سيتم توفير مساحة خاصة ضمن المنصة تحت اسم "مختبر تصميم تجربة المتعامل" الذي سيتيح للزوار اختبار الخدمات والتطبيقات الذكية لحكومة دبي، وقيامهم باختيار تلك التي تناسبهم لترتيبها وفق احتياجاتهم ورغباتهم؛ ليجري بناء عليه توجيه الجهات الحكومية لاحقاً للأخذ في الاعتبار تصميم التطبيقات الذكية من منظور المتعاملين ووفق رغباتهم لمنحهم مزيداً من لحظات السعادة في حياتهم اليومية وزيادة تبنيهم استخدام تلك التطبيقات.
وستشهد منصة "حكومة دبي الذكية" على مدى أيام المعرض الخمسة، تقديم مجموعة من العروض والمحاضرات تسلط الضوء على العديد من خدماتها المشتركة وتطبيقات الهواتف الذكية سواء كانت لدائرة حكومة دبي الذكية أو الجهات المشاركة على منصتها. كما سيتم توقيع مجموعة من الاتفاقيات الثنائية للجهات الحكومية والأطراف المستفيدة وذلك لتعزيز الشراكة والتعاون بينهم سعياً لإتمام الترابط والتكامل لتوفير مزيد من الراحة والسعادة للمتعاملين مع حكومة دبي.
ومن ناحية أخرى ستشهد المنصة سحوبات يومية لمستخدمي الخدمات الإلكترونية والذكية التي توفرها حكومة دبي الذكية والجهات الحكومية الأخرى، لزوار أجنحتها أو لمن يشاركون في حضور أحد العروض التقديمية على المنصة، حيث جرى رصد عدد كبير من الأجهزة الذكية التي ستقدم كجوائز لهذه السحوبات.
ولإتاحة الفرصة أمام الراغبين في الاستفسار عن مشاركة الدائرة ومتابعة فعاليات المنصة والجهات المشاركة فيها، فقد تم تحديث الموقع الإلكتروني http://gitex.dubai.ae ليحتوي على معلومات وافية، كما يمكن التواصل مع مركز الاتصال التابع للدائرة على الرقم 60056000 والاستمتاع بمتابعة قنوات التواصل الاجتماعي عبر حسابات الدائرة على: فيسبوك تويتر وإنستغرام DubaiSmartGov، و"يوتيوب"، وغوغل بلاس ولينكد إن Dubai Smart Gov.
