Reflecting the French Agriculture’s diversity
United Arab Emirates; September 2015 – The French Potato Delegation, FEDEPOM, will attend the WOP 2015-World of Perishables in presence of six diversified companies to showcase high quality of farm products to the local market. The French Federation of potato Packers and Traders will have a stand on the exhibition and will be located Stand E10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre from the 5th to the 7th of October 2015.
FEDEPOM is the Federation of French potatoes traders, with over 70 members, representing over 80% of market players in France. This year, and for the first time, FEDEPOM will present 6 companies to introduce to the UAE and the Middle East market the French diversity of potato varieties such as: Agatha, Anabelle, Melody, Caesar, Mozart, Franceline, Charlotte, Bintje, Vitelotte, Ratte. UAE companies could avail of this opportunity to enter into new business partnerships.
France is one of the biggest producers of potatoes in the world, with a farmland of 120.000 hectares, and a production between 5 and 6 millions of tonnes in 2014. The potato is also very important in the history of France and is the subject of a real storytelling. Indeed, the French pharmacist Antoine-Augustin PARMENTIER was the one who, considering the nutritional values of potato, promoted its human consumption and production in France. Dr Parmentier’s crowning glory was when his recipe “hachis Parmentier” was served to Louis XVI and the Queen of France – Marie-Antoinette - in 1785.

- Lucas Lemaire:
Lucas Lemaire is an independent family-run company specialized in exporting potatoes and onions in Europe and beyond.
Lucas Lemarie business is based on direct and regular cooperation in long term with a core group of recurring producers. Since 1968, Negonor offers special varieties for retailers and foodservices such as: Charlotte, Annabelle, Marilyne, Agata, Vitelotte. Its export activity represents 30% to all Europe, Middle-East & Africa.
- Parmentine:
Parmentine was created in 1998, it’s a company specialized on potatoes production and packaging. Parmentine offers different type of Potato varieties and guarantee the original quality of the products; the farming areas of Parmentine are distributed over different regions of France, which are known for the variety and quality of their “terroir”. Its international export activity represents 35% in Europe-Western, Eastern, North and South.
- Terre de France :
Terre de France was created in1999. As one of the leader and the biggest Trader on the potatoes market, the main mission of Terre de France is to offer special varieties for top range retailers and foodservices with small packaging, as well as in in 25 kg or Big bag. Its export activity covers all Europe, Middle-East & North Africa. TDF wants to develop its export activity and a real current of business with its partner mainly based on confidence.

الإمارات العربية المتحدة، سبتمبر 2015 – من المقرر أن يقوم الوفد الفرنسي لاتحاد مسئولي تعبئة وتجارة البطاطس (FEDEPOM) المكون من ست شركات مختلفة بالاشتراك في معرض دبي الدولي للخضر والفاكهة WOP 2015 بهدف تعريف السوق المحلي بالجودة العالية لمنتجات المزارع الفرنسية. ومن المقرر أن يتواجد الاتحاد الفرنسي لمسئولي تعبئة وتجارة البطاطس في المنصة رقمE10 في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي وذلك في الفترة من 5 إلى 7 أكتوبر 2015.
يعد FEDEPOM الاتحاد الفرنسي لتجارة البطاطس ويتخطى عدد أعضائه سبعين عضواً حيث يمثل الاتحاد أكثر من 80% من المختصين بهذا السوق في فرنسا. ويشهد هذا العام ولأول مرة قيام اتحاد FEDEPOM بتعريف أسواق الإمارات العربية المتحدة والشرق الأوسط بست شركات بهدف تسليط الضوء على تنوع أصناف البطاطس الفرنسية مثل أجاتا وأنابيل وميلودي وكازار وموزار وفرانسلين وشارلوت وبانتجي وفيتلوت ورات. الأمر الذي سيتيح فرصة هامة للشركات الإماراتية لإبرام شراكات تجارية جديدة.
جدير بالذكر أن فرنسا تعد أحد أكبر منتجي البطاطس على مستوى العالم من خلال أراضي زراعية تصل مساحتها إلى 120.000 هكتار في إطار تراوح الإنتاج ما بين خمس وستة ملايين طن عام 2014. كما تتمتع البطاطس بأهمية كبيرة جداً في تاريخ فرنسا ولها قصة قديمة. إذ أن الصيدلي الفرنسي أنطوان أوجوستان بارمونتييه كان أول من اكتشف القيمة الغذائية للبطاطس ودعا لاستهلاكها وإنتاجها في فرنسا. وقد حقق د.بارمونتييه قمة مجده عندما تم تقديم وصفته طبق "هاشيه بارمونتييه" للملك لويس السادس العشر وملكة فرنسا ماري أنطوانيت عام 1785.

نبذة عن شركات البطاطس الفرنسية في معرض الشرق الأوسط الدولي للخضر والفاكهة:
- شركة لوكا لومير
تعد شركة لوكا لومير شركة عائلية مستقلة متخصصة في تصدير البطاطس والبصل على مستوى أوروبا وخارجها.
ويرتكز نشاط لوكا لومير على التعاون المباشر والمنتظم وطويل المدى مع مجموعة أساسية من المنتجين المتكررين. إذ تبحث دوماً شركة لوكا لومير عن منتجين جدد لتنويع عرضها بهدف ضمان الجودة في إطار تجميع المنتجين للعينات ومراقبتها في معامل الشركة مرتين أسبوعياً.
ويتمثل الهدف الرئيسي للشركة في تطوير شراكة حقيقية مع كل عميل ارتكازاً على معرفة وتحليل احتياجاته الخاصة المصحوب بخبرة تتعدى أكثر من خمسين عاماً. ويمثل التصدير 90% من نشاطها حيث تقوم بالتصدير لإجمالي أوروبا والكاريبي والشرق الأوسط وروسيا .
- شركة نيجونور
تقدم شركة نيجونور منذ عام 1968 أصناف مختلفة لتجار التجزئة ومسئولي المطاعم. وتتمثل هذه الأصناف في شارلوت وأنابيل وماريلين وأجاتا وفيتلوت. ويمثل التصدير 30% من نشاطها حيث تقوم بالتصدير لإجمالي أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا .
- شركة بارمونتين
تم تأسيس شركة بارمونتين عام 1998 وهي شركة متخصصة في إنتاج وتعبئة البطاطس. وتقدم شركة بارمونتين أصناف مختلفة من البطاطس وتضمن الجودة الأصلية للمنتجات علماً بأن مساحات الزراعة الخاصة بشركة بارمونتين موزعة على مختلف المناطق في فرنسا المعروفة بتنوع وجودة أراضيها الزراعية. ويمثل نشاطها الدولي الخاص بالتصدير 35% ويستهدف غرب وشرق وشمال جنوب أوروبا.
- شركة تير دي فرانس
تم تأسيس شركة تير دي فرانس عام 2000. ويتمثل هدفها الرئيسي في تقديم أصناف خاصة لكبار تجار التجزئة ومسئولي المطاعم وذلك من خلال تقديم عبوات صغيرة. ويشمل نشاط التصدير الخاص بها إجمالي أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
- شركة توكيه سافور
تتمتع شركة توكيه سافور الفرنسية بخبرة تتعدى أربعة وعشرين عاماً. وتحتل الشركة المرتبة الأولى بقائمة المتخصصين الأوروبيين في عبوات التعبئة الصغيرة كما تقدم أصناف خاصة لكبار تجار التجزئة ومسئولي المطاعم. إذ توفر عبوات يتراوح أوزانها ما بين 400 جرام و12.5 كجرام. أما نشاط التصدير الخاص بها فيمثل 5% ويختص أساساً بأوروبا والشرق الأوسط.
- شركة فيربوم
تتواجد شركة فيربوم منذ عام 1991 وتقدم أصناف خاصة من البطاطس لكبار تجار التجزئة ومسئولي المطاعم. ويغطي نشاطها الخاص بالتصدير إجمالي أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا.
