ALMANSOORI expansion plans on track as it announces two new high-powered appointments


AlMansoori Specialized Engineering, the leading provider of oilfield services in the Middle East, announced that its ongoing expansion plans are on track with the appointment of Riyaz Shaikh as the company's new country manager (India) and Derek Hood as regional operations manager for Target Well Control, based in Aberdeen, UK.
Mr Shaikh brings more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the oil and gas industry.  His expertise lies in developing long-term business plans, ensuring the accomplishments of marketing objectives and strategic business planning. This will stand the company in good stead as it eyes further consolidation and expansion of its operations in the Indian market. 

Mr Hood is a management graduate and holds a HNC in mechanical engineering. He has more than 30 years of experience in intervention/well services operations, completions, cased hole logging, e-line and slick line, measurement while drilling/logging while drilling, coiled tubing operations and has an advanced understanding of all well drilling, completions, well servicing operations on fixed platform, land or sub sea environments.
