Partners with Qatar Red Crescent Society for second consecutive year to organize special event

Alfardan Group successfully hosted a charity Iftar at the Al Gassar Majlis Tent. The event, which was organized in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent Society, was held for the benefit of around 150 people, which was composed of 85 underprivileged children who are under the care of the Society and their respective families. The activity allowed the children with the unique opportunity of experiencing an evening of first-class entertainment and distinguished hospitality, where they partook of a lavish buffet of gourmet specialties from Middle Eastern and Qatari cuisines, Ramadan delicacies, and Arabic and international desserts along with wholesome entertainment.
The initiative turned out to be memorable for the special guests who were entertained throughout the evening with fun-filled activities in accordance with the spirit of Ramadan. Alfardan Group has always been at the forefront in supporting philanthropic activities designed to bring meaningful change in the lives of the less fortunate members of the society and help them live with dignity and pride. It has an active corporate social responsibility program, which is part of its main corporate pillars and reflects its core values.

Mr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Mohannadi, the Secretary General of Qatar Red Crescent, welcomed this commendable initiative from Alfardan Group, hailing their constant support for Qatar Red Crescent, especially Mr. Omar Alfardan, the President and CEO of one of the largest business and investment edifices of Qatar. He hoped that this strategic bilateral partnership will continue to support Qatar Red Crescent's humanitarian mission and programs in the best interest of the Qatari and other world societies.
This marks the second consecutive year that Alfardan Group has collaborated with the Qatar Red Crescent Society in organizing a charity Iftar dinner, reinforcing its commitment to build a healthy, happy and motivated society in line with the Human Development Pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030. "مجموعة الفردان" تستضيف مأدبة إفطار خيري في "خيمة المجلس" في "القصار"

استضافت "مجموعة الفردان" مأدبة إفطار رمضاني خيري في "خيمة المجلس" في "منتجع القصار". وتمّ تنظيم الحدث في إطار التعاون المشترك مع "جمعية الهلال الأحمر القطري"، وذلك بمشاركة نحو 150 شخص، من ضمنهم 85 طفل مستفيد من خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية المقدمة من الجمعية. وشكّل الحدث فرصة هامة للأطفال وعائلاتهم للتمتع بالضيافة العربية الأصيلة والأجواء الرمضانية المفعمة بالمودة والألفة. وتميز الإفطار ببوفيه مفتوح ضم مجموعة من أشهى المأكولات المميزة من المطبخ القطري والشرق أوسطي وتشكيلة واسعة من الحلويات العربية والغربية والأطباق الرمضانية المختارة، فضلاً عن فقرات ترفيهية متنوعة اتسمت بالرقي والتميز.
وتخلل مأدبة الإفطار تنظيم مجموعة من النشاطات الترفيهية الهادفة والموجّهة للاحتفاء بالمعاني السامية والقيم النبيلة التي يحملها الشهر الفضيل. وتكتسب المبادرة أهمية خاصة كونها تأتي استكمالاً للجهود الخيرية المبذولة من "مجموعة الفردان"، التي تعتبر إحدى أبرز الجهات الفاعلة في دعم مسيرة العمل الإنساني في قطر، مدعومةً بمحفظة شاملة من المبادرات النوعية المصمّمة خصيصاً لإحداث تغيير إيجابي في حياة الفئات المحرومة والمحتاجة في المجتمع وتوفير الدعم اللازم لها للتمتع بحياة كريمة وبناء مستقبل أفضل. وتلتزم المجموعة بالعمل وفق برنامج المسؤولية الاجتماعية الذي يعتبر أحد أبرز دعائمها وانعكاساً حقيقياً للقيم الجوهرية التي يستند إليها نطاق عملها.

ومن جهته، أشاد سعادة الأمين العام لجمعية الهلال الأحمر القطري السيد صالح بن علي المهندي بهذه المبادرة المشكورة من جانب مجموعة الفردان، كما أثنى على الدعم الدائم والمستمر الذي تلقاه الجمعية من المجموعة وبالأخص السيد عمر الفردان الرئيس التنفيذي لواحد من أكبر صروح التجارة والاستثمار في قطر، متمنيا استمرار هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين الطرفين لتعزيز رسالة الهلال الأحمر القطري وبرامجه الإنسانية بما فيه خير المجتمع القطري والمجتمعات الإنسانية المحتاجة حول العالم.
وهذه هي السنة الثانية على التوالي التي تقوم فيها "مجموعة الفردان" بالتعاون مع "جمعية الهلال الأحمر القطري" بتنظيم حفل إفطار خيري، وذلك تعزيزاً لالتزامها ببناء مجتمع صحي وسعيد وفعّال تماشياً مع ركيزة التنمية البشرية لرؤية قطر الوطنية 2030. كما قامت المجموعة بتطوير العديد من مبادرات المسؤولية الاجتماعية التي تصب في صالح عملائها وموظفيها والمجتمع ككل، ما يعكس ممارساتها الأخلاقية والخيرية والمسؤولة في إجراء الأعمال التجارية. وتعد "مجموعة الفردان" أيضاً من أبرز مؤيدي وداعمي تبني وتنفيذ مفهوم المسؤولية الاجتماعية للشركات بشكل أوسع في القطاع الخاص.
