Screen time on child-friendly technology has opened up new worlds of opportunity and conflict in families as parents, particularly of young children, struggle to understand how to use these wondrous instruments to improve family communication and learning rather than undermine it.
The Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, in collaboration with Yale University, is hosting a Parenting Talk titled ‘Children, Parents and the Media: Friend or Foe for Families in the Digital and Wireless Age’ as a part of their comprehensive Early Childhood Development (ECD) Parenting Program. This presentation by an internationally recognized expert review the latest and most relevant research designed to help parents choose the right approach for their particular child and family.
Taking place in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, the talks aim to support and empower parents of young children in the UAE. All sessions are free and open to the public.

For those under the age of 2, there will there be special caretakers and their personal nannies are also welcomed.
