Cairo, 24 March 2015 - In a press conference today, the organizer and founder of ‘Our Wedding Carnival’, Red Square, launched the third season, which will take place on the 3rd and 4th of April at the Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo Hotel. This season will sponsor for the first time the wedding expenses of 10 orphan brides in Fayoum in co-operation with ‘Benebny Hayah’ project.
Commenting on this initiative, Sherif Ashraf, Managing Director of Red Square, said: “As we look forward to another great season of ‘Our Wedding Carnival 3 (OWC3), I believe the best success one can achieve is to reach out and extend a helping hand. We are very pleased to announce our collaboration this year with ‘Benebny Hayah’, and we hope that through this initiative, which we plan to continue in the future, we can add value and make a positive human statement that touches lives”.
Engineer Cherif Azzouz, the project manager of ‘Benebny Hayah’ added: “The project aims at developing the infrastructure of the poorest villages in Egypt and improving the lives of their people. Our collaboration with OWC3 offers us a great opportunity to make that difference to 10 orphan and underprivileged brides”.
In a celebration of the best talents in the business, over 100 exhibitors and sponsors are participating in this season of OWC3. The two-day event will show case five designer fashion shows, live hair styling and make up shows – all set in a colorful underwater theme; as exquisite fireworks set the stage for a true bridal adventure.
OWC3 catwalk will introduce international Lebanese designer Hadi Katra for the first time in Egypt, Bahig Hussain’s "Dancing with the Stars" collection - exclusively at the event, Syrian designers Antar & Lahmoni, Blanche Maison de Couture and Rosa Clara’s international designer brands.
Commenting on the event, which Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo Hotel is hosting for the second year, Sameh Sobhy, General Manager of the hotel said: ”We are looking forward to hosting this season; and we are glad to be part of this new social initiative. Corporate Social Responsibility has always been and continues to be one of our priorities, as we seek to achieve this vital balance between our mission and our responsibility towards the society in which we operate”.
Sherif Ashraf concluded:” Jointly with our partners and exhibitors, we are bringing new colors and flavors to the event this year. Visitors will be spoiled for choice by the bridal shows, DJ entertainment, exquisite offers, and many more surprises that will be announced during the event”.
انطلاق الموسم الثالث لمهرجان Our Wedding Carnival’
في بادرة انسانية يتكفل المهرجان بمصاريف زفاف 10 عرائس ايتام هذا الموسم
القاهرة ، 24 مارس 2015 – اعلنت ريد سكوير، الشركة المنظمة لمهرجان ‘Our Wedding Carnival’ عن انطلاق الموسم الثالث والذي ستبدأ فعالياته يومي 3 و4 ابريل 2015 في فندق سميراميس أنتركونتننتال. ويتبني هذا الموسم ولأول مرة بالتعاون مع مشروع "بنبني حياة" تجهيز عشرة عرائس ايتام من افقر القرى في الفيوم.
وتعليقاً على هذه المبادرة، قال شريف أشرف المدير التنفيذي لشركة ريد سكوير: " ونحن اذ نتطلع الى موسم جديد من مهرجان Our Wedding Carnival ، فاننا نؤمن ان اهم النجاحات التي من الممكن تحقيقها هي مد يد المساعدة كلما امكن . ونحن سعداء لتعاوننا هذا الموسم مع مشروع "بنبني حياة" والذي اتاح لنا هذه الفرصة ، والتي سنعمل على تبّنيها مستقبلاً ، لنتمكن من دعم حياة الكثيرين من خلال مثل هذه المبادرات الانسانية ".
كما صرّح المهندس شريف عزوز مدير مشروع "بنبني حياة ": نحن نهدف من خلال مشروع "بنبني حياة" الى تطوير قرى مصر الأكثر فقراً ، ليس فقط من خلال تنمية البنية التحتية ، و إنما ايضاً من خلال المساهمة في تحسين الظروف المعيشية لسكانها . ان تعاوننا مع Our Wedding Carnival سيتيح لنا فرصة رائعة لتجهيز عشرة عرائس ايتام يحيون في ظروف معيشية صعبة ".
ويشارك في فعاليات الموسم الثالث من Our Wedding Carnival أكثر من 100 عارض على مدى يومين من خلال تجمع لأفضل المواهب والعديد من الفعاليات تتخللها خمسة عروض ازياء يقدمها بعض اهم المصممين الموهوبين ، بالاضافة الى عروض حية لأحدث تصفيفات الشعر والمكياج من خلال اجواء نابضة بالالوان وديكورات مبهرة تحت الماء و العاب نارية لتؤكد جميعها على روح المغامرة التي اختارها هذا الموسم شعاراً له .
كما سيقدم مهرجان Our Wedding Carnivalلأول مرة في مصر عرضاً للازياء للمصمم اللبناني العالمي هادي كاترا الذي شارك في العديد من اسابيع الموضة حول العالم ، و بهيج حسين الذي سيقدم عرضاً حصرياً تحت اسم "الرقص مع النجوم" . بالاضافة الى عنتر ولحموني من سوريا ، و بلانش ميزون للازياء ومجموعة رائعة من فساتين الزفاف تطرحها روزا كلارا لأكبر المصممين الدوليين في عالم الموضة .
وتعليقاً على هذا الحدث الذي يستضيفه فندق سميراميس انتركونتيننتال للعام الثاني على التوالي، قال سامح صبحى، مدير عام الفندق :" نحن نتطلع لاستضافة هذا الحدث السنوي ، ونحن سعداء بهذه المبادرة الانسانية التي اطلقها مهرجان Our Wedding Carnival لهذا الموسم وان نكون شركاء فيها. ان المسئولية الاجتماعية هي احد اهم اهدافنا ، ولقد اجتهدنا وما زلنا نسعي لتحقيق هذا التوازن الحيوي بين دورنا الرئيسي ومسئوليتنا تجاه المجتمع الذي نعمل به".
