Flocks of children expected at Sharjah’s Sahara Centre to see popular character and friends
Sharjah, January 07, 2015: Younger visitors to the Sahara Centre will receive more than they baaa-gained for over the next 10 days thanks to the visit of popular children’s TV character, Shaun the Sheep. Along with a number of his friends, the Aardman Animations favourite and star of the forthcoming movie that bears his name will be entertaining guests at the Sahara lifestyle and leisure centre from January 8-18th.
A highly intelligent but wordless character who communicates through bleats, Shaun the Sheep first came to attention with the animated Wallace and Gromit franchise. He has since developed into a full-grown wooly celebrity in his own right and is now the subject of his own dedicated TV show, which follows him and his Mossy Bottom Farm flock as they try to inject some fun into their humdrum lives. The visit is Shaun’s first to the UAE and comes ahead of his debut feature film, which is being launched in the region early this year.
In addition to putting on several shows with his friends throughout each day, with entertainment including stage games and competitions, Shaun the Sheep will be available for a meet and greet at the Sahara Centre’s Promotion Area, 1st level, and Restaurant Area, 2nd level, East Atrium, from 6-9pm. Anyone taking up the offer to have a personal audience with Shaun will be placed into a raffle to win a family dinner package in the East Atrium at restaurants that include Applebee’s, Kosebasi, Chopsticks, Russo’s New York Pizzeria, Makani, Vapiano and Bennigan’s.

[الإمارات العربية المتحدة-الشارقة، 7 يناير 2015] - ضمن حملة الربيع الترويجية، أعلن مركز صحارى عن إطلاق عروض "الخروف شون"، الشخصية الكرتونية الشهيرة، الذي جاء من مزرعة موسي بوتوم Mossy Bottom. ويوفر العرض فرصاً ممتعة للأطفال الذين يزورون مركز صحارى خلال هذه الفترة، للاستمتاع بالعرض المذهل مع ألعاب المزرعة وغيرها من الأنشطة الترفيهية.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذه هي المرة الأولى التي تقوم بها شخصية" الخروف شون" بزيارة إلى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وسوف يستقبل معجبيه من الأطفال خلال الفترة من 8 – 18 يناير، من الساعة السادسة مساءً إلى التاسعة مساءً، وذلك في منطقة الفعاليات في الطابق الأول، وفي ردهة المطاعم في القاعة الشرقية في الطابق الثاني.
وبالإضافة إلى عروض "الخروف شون"،يمكن للزوارالفوز بدعوة عائلية إلى العشاء في القاعة الشرقية في أحد المطاعم التالية: أبل بيز Applebee’s– كوشي باشي Kosebasi–شوبستكس Chopsticks– روسوز نيويورك بيزاريا Russo’s New York Pizzeria– ماكاني Makani– فابيانو Vapiano وبينيجنز Bennigan’s، وذلك من خلال سحب يومي يجرى من الساعة السادسة وحتى التاسعة مساءً.
