Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Eighth Sporting Event for the Ministry of Interior’s staff members continued. The events, organized by the Police Sports Association for the ministry’s staff members across its departments and sectors in Abu Dhabi, featured fierce competition in the various tournaments.
In the archery tournament for officers in the teams’ category, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector secured first place. The Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services’ sector was second runner-up and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior sector ranked third.
In the archery tournament for officers in the singles’ category, Captain Jamal Issa Al Saadi from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector ranked first, followed by Major Abdullah Al Horr Al Suwaidi from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior sector and Major Saleh Ahmed Al Zayoudi from Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services’ sector took second and third places respectively.
In the archery tournament for women, in the singles category, Lieutenant Aisha Jamaa’ Taher from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector ranked first. Lieutenant Loulouwa Hassan Al Hammadi, from the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector and police officer Sahar Abdul Jalil Mohammed from the Police College sector took second and third places respectively.
In the pistol shooting tournament for men in the teams’ category, the The Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services’ sector secured first place. The Police College sector was second runner-up and the Directorate General of Civil Defense sector ranked third.
In the pistol shooting tournament for men in the singles’ category, First Assistant Jassem Mohammed Al Marzouqi, from the Directorate General of Civil Defense sector ranked first. First Assistant Ali Mohammed Obaid and Assistant Rashid Abdul Rahman Rashid, from from the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services’ sector took second and third places respectively.
In the swimming tournament, the singles’ category, Mohamed Ibrahim Al Dsouki from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector ranked first. Ismail Saad Al Ameri from the Directorate General of Civil Defense sector and Omar Ahmed Salem Al Mahri from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector took second and third places respectively.
In the running tournament in the teams of 30 years and above category, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior sector outperformed the other participants and secured first place, followed by the Directorate General of Civil Defense sector and the Police College in second and third places respectively.
In the running tournament for individuals of 30 years and above category, Hamza Nawaf Al Shibi from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector took first place, followed by Nawaf Saud Al Dosari from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior’s sector ranked second and Ahmed Saeed Al Dhuhouri, from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector ranked third.
In the running tournament for teams under the age of 30, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s sector secured first place, followed by the Directorate General of Civil Defense sector and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior’s sector in second and third places respectively.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, and Secretary General of the Police Sports Association, praised the generous patronage of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, which contributed significantly to the success of the events. He commended the high-level of technical performance demonstrated by the participants, which added momentum to the competition and honest rivalry between them.
Adding further, Colonel Al Dhaheri said that competitions are expected to grow fiercer in the coming days. He noted that the increased level of performance exhibited by both individuals and teams may positively highlight the importance of sports and exercise for the Ministry of Interior’s staff members. “Sports activity has a positive impact on character and contributes to physical fitness, mental well-being and social interaction. Our goal is to establish sports activity as an integral way of life for police staff members, as they need to be physically fit and healthy in order to carry out the challenging tasks and in turn, achieve higher productivity,” he concluded.
تواصل منافسات الفعاليات الرياضية الثامنة لمنتسبي الداخلية
تشهد الفعاليات الرياضية الثامنة لمنتسبي وزارة الداخلية؛ التي ينظمها حالياً اتحاد الشرطة الرياضي، برعاية الفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، تنافساً قوياً في عدد من المسابقات الرياضية.
ففي منافسات رماية ضباط (فرق)، استطاع قطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، أن يحقق المركز الأول تلاه قطاع الوكيل المساعد للموارد والخدمات المساندة في مركز الوصيف، ثم قطاع وكيل وزارة الداخلية الذي حل في المركز الثالث.
وأسفرت المسابقة نفسها للضباط (فردي) عن فوز النقيب جمال عيسى السعدي من قطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية بالمركز الأول وجاء الرائد عبدالله الحر السويدي من قطاع وكيل وزارة الداخلية في المركز الثاني؛ بينما حقق الرائد صالح أحمد الزيودي من قطاع الوكيل المساعد للموارد والخدمات المساندة المركز الثالث.
أما في مسابقة رماية السيدات للفردي، فقد حققت الملازم عائشة جامع طاهر من قطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية المرتبة الأولى تلتها الملازم لولوة حسن الحمادي من قطاع الوكيل المساعد لشؤون الجنسية والإقامة في المركز الثاني، والشرطي سحر عبد الجليل محمد من قطاع كلية الشرطة في المركز الثالث.
وعلى صعيد رماية مسدس رجال (فرق) تصدّر قطاع الوكيل المساعد للموارد والخدمات المساندة المركز الأول، ونال قطاع كلية الشرطة مركز الوصيف بينما احتل قطاع الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني المركز الثالث.
وعلى مستوى رماية مسدس رجال للفردي أنهى مساعد أول جاسم محمد المرزوقي من قطاع الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني المنافسة محتلاً المركز الأول وجاء مساعد أول علي محمد عبيد من قطاع الوكيل المساعد للموارد والخدمات المساندة في المركز الثاني، تلاه مساعد راشد عبد الرحمن راشد من قطاع الوكيل المساعد للموارد والخدمات المساندة في المركز الثالث.
وفي بطولة السباحة (فردي) أسفرت المنافسة عن فوز محمد إبراهيم الدسوقي من قطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية بالمركز الأول متقدماً على إسماعيل سعد العامري من قطاع الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني؛ الذي جاء ثانياً بينما فاز عمر أحمد سالم المهري من قطاع "الأمانة العامة" بالمركز الثالث.
وفي منافسات الجري فوق 30 سنة (فرق) تمكن قطاع وكيل وزارة الداخلية من التفوق على المشاركين لينال المركز الأول، وجاء قطاع القيادة العامة للدفاع المدني في المرتبة الثانية ثم قطاع كلية الشرطة ثالثاً.
أما على الصعيد الفردي لنفس المسابقة، فقد استطاع حمزة نواف الشيبي من قطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية أن يحصد المركز الأول؛ بينما حقق نواف سعود الدوسري من قطاع وكيل وزارة الداخلية المركز الثاني وحل أحمد سعيد الظهوري من قطاع "الأمانة العامة" ثالثاً.
وذهبت بطولة الجري تحت 30 سنة (فرق) لقطاع الأمانة العامة لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية الذي خطف الصدارة محققاً المركز الأول؛ تلاه قطاع القيادة العامة للدفاع المدني وقطاع وكيل وزارة الداخلية في المركز الثالث.
وأشاد العقيد محمد حميد دلموج الظاهري، أمين السر العام في اتحاد الشرطة الرياضي، بالرعاية الكريمة للبطولة من قبل سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية؛ مما أسهم بقدر كبير في النجاح المشهود الذي أفرزته الفعاليات، كما أثنى على المستوى الفني للمشاركين مما زاد من قوة المنافسة وخلق بينهم نوعاً من التحدي المشروع.
وقال إنه من المنتظر أن يرتفع مستوى المنافسات في الأيام المقبلة؛ مشيراً في الوقت نفسه إلى أن هذا الارتقاء في مستوى أداء الأفراد والفرق قد يسهم بشكل إيجابي في ابراز أهمية الرياضة والممارسة الرياضية لدى العاملين في وزارة الداخلية، لما لها من أثر وعائد إيجابي صحياً وبدنياً ونفسياً واجتماعياً، فهدفنا هو أن نصل بالرياضة كأسلوب حياة لعنصر الشرطة مما يجعله دائماً في نشاط وحيوية وصحة لمقابلة المهام والأعباء الوظيفية وفي المقابل زيادة الإنتاجية.
