Envivio Guru™ ‘Service Oriented Monitoring’ Provides Fast and Efficient Troubleshooting on Cable, IPTV, Satellite and OTT Networks
South San Francisco, CALIF., Dec. 9, 2014 –Envivio (NASDAQ: ENVI), a leading provider of software-based video processing and delivery solutions, today announced a new option for its Guru™ head-end monitoring solution - - a new ‘service-oriented’ approach to monitoring that results in faster and more efficient troubleshooting of video delivery networks, including cable, IPTV, satellite and OTT.
Critical head-end monitoring has been impacted by consumers’ continual demand for new content on any device, increasing the amount of data to monitor as well as the technical expertise required to monitor every format on any network.
This new option, available only through separate purchase, incorporates a service-driven, graphical, drill-down process of monitoring that sorts issues by impact on service, rather than by type of equipment. For example, issues with premium channels can be prioritized and flagged first, so operators can address problems with the greatest revenue impact. Those impacting a customer’s overall quality of experience would receive top priority as well.
The new graphics in Guru make the monitoring service easy to use, and all channels, services, and equipment with current alarm status are displayed by importance, to make the troubleshooting process quick and easy.

• Identification of priority actions based on channel importance and service impact severity.
• Operational efficiency to identify alarms to solve with the drill down process from service impact to equipment impacting alarm.
