CPA Exam Candidates are Provided Additional Opportunities and Added Convenience
Beirut, December 17: The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and Prometric today announced that testing for the Uniform CPA Examination in the Middle East will be open to all qualified citizens and permanent residents of India beginning October 1, 2014.
Administration of the Uniform CPA Examination began in the Middle East in August of 2011, with testing available in Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. Qualified candidates from India now are able to travel to take the Exam at any of the Middle East locations. CPA Exam candidates can register on Prometric.com/cpa and conduct their exams at Prometric test sites throughout the Middle East.

U.S. citizens abroad, foreign nationals and Indian CPA Exam candidates all have additional options and increased convenience.”
The international administration of the Exam, which is offered in English, is the same as the U.S. Exam administered by the AICPA, NASBA, and Prometric in the United States.
Licensure requirements for international candidates are the same as for U.S. CPA candidates. Along with passing the Uniform CPA Examination, international candidates must meet education and professional experience requirements as mandated by U.S. Boards of Accountancy.

In the United States, Boards of Accountancy are the only entities authorized to grant the U.S. CPA license. Indian candidates may apply through one of the U.S. Boards of Accountancy. لبنان، 17 ديسمبر 2014: أعلن كل من "المعهد الأمريكي للمحاسبين القانونيين المعتمدين" (AICPA) و"الاتحاد الوطني للمحاسبين القانونيين" الأمريكي (NASBA) وشركة "برومترك" اليوم عن فتح باب المشاركة في "امتحان الزمالة الأميركية لشهادة المحاسب القانوني المعتمد" (CPA) في منطقة الشرق الأوسط أمام جميع مواطني وسكان الهند المؤهلين اعتباراً من 1 أكتوبر 2014.
وباشرت إدارة الامتحان العمل في منطقة الشرق الأوسط منذ شهر أغسطس الماضي؛ وتوفرت الاختبارات في البحرين، والكويت، ولبنان، والإمارات العربية المتحدة. وبات بإمكان المرشحين المؤهلين من المواطنين الهنود السفر للتقدم إلى الامتحان في أي من البلدان المعتمدة في المنطقة علماً أنه يمكن للمرشحين للامتحان التسجيل عبر الموقع الإلكتروني (www.Prometric.com/cpa)، ومن ثم إجراء الامتحانات لدى مراكز "برومترك" الموزعة في المنطقة.

وسيكون تقديم هذا الامتحان باللغة الإنجليزية وفق نفس شروط الترخيص وبشكل مطابق تماماً للامتحان الذي يتم إدارته في الولايات المتحدة من قبل "المعهد الأمريكي للمحاسبين القانونيين المعتمدين" و"الاتحاد الوطني للمحاسبين القانونيين" ومركز "برومترك". وإضافة إلى اجتياز الامتحان بنجاح، يتوجب الالتزام بالشروط الدراسية والخبرة المحددة بحسب توجيهات "مجالس المحاسبة" الأمريكية.
بدوره قال كولين كونراد، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي ومدير العمليات في "الاتحاد الوطني للمحاسبين القانونيين": "تتمتع شهادة الزمالة الأمريكية للمحاسب القانوني المعتمد بمكانة رفيعة في الأوساط المالية العالمية نظراً لصعوبة النجاح في هذا الامتحان الذي يمتاز بشروطه الصارمة. ويتنامى الطلب على حاملي هذه الشهادة الذين يحظون بفرص عمل مجزية لامتلاكهم خبرات ومهارات عالمية مؤكدة".
وتعد مجالس المحاسبة الأمريكية الجهة الوحيدة المخوّلة لمنح شهادة المحاسب القانوني المعتمد، حيث يمكن للمرشحين الهنود التقدم لدى إحدى هذه المجالس. وتتوافر قائمة بالمجالس المعنية ومعلومات مفصلة حول تكاليف التسجيل على صفحة الامتحانات ضمن الموقع الإلكتروني لـ "الاتحاد الوطني للمحاسبين القانونيين" (www.nasba.org). كما يمكن تقييم المؤهلات الدراسية للمرشحين من خلال خدمات التقييم الدولية التي يوفرها الاتحاد، وذلك عبر الهاتف (5382-468-855-1)، أو البريد الإلكتروني (nies@nasba.org)، أو الرابط (www.nasba.org/nies).
