After a decade of commitment to the MEA markets, ZTE's

helped the Kenyan government achieve an information-based public service, and assisted
Ethiopia, Egypt, Mozambique and Nigeria in building information-based education

also contributed to the development of the communities it works in, donating
funds to build primary schools and orphanages in Kenya and Ethiopia, and
establishing ICT training centres in South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Ethiopia.
ZTE has
helped Ethiopia build its first fully-fledged structure for communications
technology training, and trained telecom engineers and management personnel for
the country through an engineer training programme carried out from 2008 to
2012. In addition, ZTE has established partnerships with many universities in
Africa for the integration of enterprises, universities and research
institutes, providing graduates with internship opportunities and setting up
