13 – 15 April 2015, CTICC, Cape
Town
ILTM Africa provided a $3.5
million boost to the inbound African luxury travel market in 2014 and the 2015
event is already growing its guest list of top producing travel buyers from
across the globe, 70% of whom will be new to the event.
Taking place from 13 – 15 April
in Cape Town, ILTM Africa 2015 (www.iltm.com/africa) will identify and welcome
over 100 of the most productive luxury travel agents the
world has to offer - a 20% increase year on year - for 3 days of high-level
business networking. In addition -
and following last year’s high profile media attendance - a further hand-picked
selection of international luxury travel editors will attend.
This is the third
edition of ILTM Africa – an event that has been built on the success of the
ILTM global portfolio, renown for identifying and attracting a distinctive,
high spending audience of luxury travel buyers from all four corners of the
globe. ILTM Africa 2015 will welcome
elite agents from Poland, Latvia, Russia and Denmark, as well as new faces from
Australia, China, Brazil, the Netherlands, Northern Europe (including the
Eastern Bloc), the UK and US.
Alison Gilmore,
Senior Exhibition Director, ILTM Portfolio commented;
“It’s wonderful
to hear how much our guests at ILTM Africa were wowed by the international
variety of the high quality buyers we flew in to meet with them all in 2014,
not to mention the time they saved in meeting them in one venue across 3 days
of dedicated, mutually matched pre-scheduled appointments.”
In 2015, ILTM
Africa will highlight a greater focus on sub-Saharan Africa;
in particular camps, lodges and boutique products. The Royal
Portfolio will return and will be joined by Cape Grace, Bushtracks Africa, The
Saxon Boutique Hotel & Spa and SUNLUX by Sun International amongst others, all
of whom cite their reason for returning to be the new business from new markets
they have developed since attending ILTM Africa 2014.
New guests at
ILTM Africa 2015 include Zambia safari lodge Tongabezi, Malawi’s Kaya
Mawa lodge, South African luxury train Rovos Rail and Zimbabwe’s The Victoria
Falls Hotel.
ILTM
Africa will be one of three co-located travel industry events at the CTICC that
form ‘Africa Travel Week’. The others
will include IBTM Africa (Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings), also 13 – 15 April and WTM
Africa (World Travel Market), which will take place 15 – 17 April 2015.
