Global leader in project management ESI to address
federal human resource professionals about maintaining UAE’s competitive edge through
HR best practice at special Federal Authority for Government Human Resources
joint breakfast session

International, the world's leading project management training company, which
was appointed a UAE Federal Government preferred training partner earlier this
year, will host a special breakfast session in association with the Federal
Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
Raed
Haddad, ESI’s Managing Director, Asia Pacific, will address delegates on 23
October 2014 to present, ‘Institutionalising project management - Best Practices on ‘How to Get the
Most Out of Your Project Management Journey’.
“By effectively implementing a comprehensive
project management approach in their organisation, many companies are thriving
in the face of adversity and today’s challenging economic environment. We
will look at defining
high-performing organisations from a project management perspective as well as
summarising the current challenges and typical recommended solutions based on
ESI’s experience with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies,” said
Haddad.
The ESI project improvement
roadmap focuses on three key areas: people, process and tools, and includes
real life examples from the company’s extensive client base.
“At least one tool in each
area will be identified that can be immediately implemented back on the job, so
session delegates will be able to take away a set of practical solutions to
help their businesses progress to the next level,” he noted.
Haddad
will also focus on the importance of investing in staff in order to be fully
prepared for economic and industry change.
“Where
many organisations fall short is in aligning their learning programmes to their
organisational goals. Using results from an ESI-commissioned survey combined
with best practice examples from our bank of international clients, I will
share our roadmap for embarking on a measurement programme that does not
overwhelm the participants or the organisation,” he said.
The
programme will also provide various data points that, when combined will set
the stage for actionable results that really demonstrate VOI (value of (your)
Investment).
In
the meantime Haddad will also address UAE and regional HR professionals during this
year’s industry renowned HR Summit, which will take place at Dubai
International Exhibition & Convention Centre from 20-22 October 2014.
Haddad
will deliver a keynote focusing on the final day focusing on ‘Determining the
Value of Investment: The Pragmatic ROI for Measuring Learning Impact as well as
Institutionalising PM - Best
Practices on How to Get the Most Out of Your Project Management Journey.
With responsibility for growing ESI’s
presence in new markets in the Asia Pacific region, Haddad has over 25 years
diverse industry sector leadership experience and has held a number of senior
executive positions with ESI in Global Delivery Services and Client Programs,
as well as extensive experience in operational launches including those of ESI
India, ESI Canada and ESI Australia.
“Working directly with clients at executive
level to develop innovative training strategies that drive performance
improvement, these kind of educational sessions are an invaluable learning
tool, not only for the high profile delegates but for ESI, as we continually
look to develop our own expertise and insider knowledge in order to effectively
measure VOI,” remarked Haddad.
He is also a regular speaker at global
industry conferences and was a respected lecturer at the George Washington
University School of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering in
Washington, DC, up until 2011, where he taught graduate level courses related
to programme/project management and decision making techniques.
