1st October 2014 – Alila Jabal Akhdar
received the Green Landscape Award during the Oman Green Awards and
Summit held this September under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed bin
Salim bin Said Al Tobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs in
Oman. The ceremony was attended by various public and private sector
organisations that contribute to encouraging eco-friendly initiatives.
Alila Jabal Akhdar’s on-going commitment to the environment is
prominently represented in its Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) certified construction. The resort’s design is in harmony
with its surrounding environment, preserving the extraordinary natural
beauty of the region. The Green Landscape Award was granted to the
resort for its unique application of the proper environmental standards
required to achieve sustainability and the LEED certification, the
resort set itself as a pioneer to environmental contribution in Oman.
Eng. Wael Al-Lawati, CEO of Omran commented, “All activities implemented

Al-Lawati.
Alila Jabal Akhdar is considered one of the most ideal tourism
destinations developed by Omran, the interiors have been inspired by the
fragrant pink roses which blanket the mountainside in springtime and
all rooms have been decorated with a simple beauty that relies on warm,
neutral textures and a reflection of local Omani culture. Each of the
resort’s 84 Suites and 2 Jabal Villas, named Jowz and Rummanah after the
Walnuts and Pomegranates found in the region.

منتجع أليلا الجبل الأخضر يحصد جائزة أفضل المسطحات الخضراء
حصد منتجع أليلا الجبل الأخضر بجدارة جائزة أفضل المسطحات الخضراء وذلك في
حفل جوائز عمان لحماية البيئة الذي رعاه معالي محمد بن سالم التوبي، وزير
البيئة والشؤون المناخية مؤخراً في سلطنة عمان. وقد شهد الحفل حضوراً
لمختلف المؤسسات الحكومية وشركات القطاع الخاص من المساهمين في مبادرات
بيئية مختلفة وفي مجالات متنوعة.
وجاء فوز منتجع أليلا الجبل الأخضر بهذه الجائزة لتميزه في تطبيق كافة
المعايير البيئية المطلوبة لتحقيق الإستدامة، حيث يتوافق المنتجع مع كافة
مقاييس شهادة الريادة في الطاقة والتصميم البيئي (LEED)-
إحدى الشهادات العالمية المرموقة في مجال تطوير المشاريع- علاوة على
توظيفه لتقنيات إبتكارية تضمن كفاءة العمليات التشغيلة والإنشاءات. ومن أهم
الجوانب التي خضعت للتقييم أيضاً هي مدى إسهامات المشروع في الجوانب
البيئية والتقنيات المستخدمة أثناء مرحلة إنشائه وريادته في تشجيع
المبادرات الخضراء والمستدامة.
وبهذه المناسبة، قال المهندس وائل بن أحمد اللواتي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة
عمران: "تشكل المساهمات الخضراء في مجال تطوير المشاريع جزءاً رئيسياً من
منظومة الإستدامة لدى الشركة، وذلك لدورها الفاعل في الحفاظ على مقومات
بلادنا المتفردة والحرص على إستثمار مواردنا الطبيعية وإبرازها في كافة
مشاريعنا".
وأضاف قائلاً:"يعد منتجع أليلا الجبل الأخضر نموذجاً مثالياً للوجهات
الخضراء ومقصداً سياحياً يراعي كافة الجوانب البيئية لنيابة الجبل الأخضر
ويعكسها في مختلف جنباته. ومنها مساحات التشجير الخارجية التي تحتوي نباتات
من بيئة الجبل الأخضر. وأود أن أشكر فريق عمران وكافة الشركاء من
الإستشاريين والمقاولين لجهودهم الجلية في تسليم هذا المشروع بنجاح."
ومن جانبه أعرب يورك بوسيلار, المدير العام لمنتجع أليلا الجبل الأخضر عن
سعادته بهذا التكريم قائلاً: "نتشرف بفوز المنتجع بهذه الجائزة لنستكمل
مبادراتنا ومسيرتنا في دعم المجتمع المحلي والممارسات الخضراء".
تمتاز التصاميم والديكورات الداخلية للفندق بكونها مستوحاة من جمال الورود
الزهرية التي تشتهر بها البيئة التي يقع فيها، والتي تغطي سفوح الجبال في
فصل الربيع، كما تم تصميم الغرف بأسلوب يمتاز بالبساطة والجمال في آن واحد
مع تناسق الألوان إلى جانب كرم الضيافة التي يشتهر به سكان السلطنة. تعكس
أجنحة المنتجع مفهوماً عصرياً للتقاليد والتاريخ العُماني، حيث يصل عددها
إلى 84 جناحاً واثنين من الفلل المبنية على سفح الجبل، تم تسمية الأولى
"جوز" والثانية "رمّانه" استلهاماً من شهرة الجبل بهاتين الثمرتين.
