event to host highly informative and interactive seminar series

– 03 September 2014: To be held under the patronage of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Agriculture, Saudi Agriculture
2014, the 33rd international agriculture, water and agro-industry trade show,
is all set to open on Sunday (September 7, 2014) at the capital’s Riyadh
International Convention and Exhibition Center. The premier agriculture expo,
which will run until September 10, 2014, will see the participation of 350 exhibitors from 40 countries.

Exhibitions Company has partnered with Advanced Conferences & Meetings to
organize the Saudi Agriculture Seminar Series, which will provide the ideal
platform to discuss the current and future overseas agriculture investment
business strategies for Saudi Arabia, how to improve the efficient use of
available resources and addressing the current trends in technology and the
worldwide agriculture industry, to meet the challenges and opportunities in
Saudi Arabia’s agriculture industry. To be held on September 8 and 9, the
series will identify potential solutions to KSA food security challenges,
provide a deep insight on the government’s agenda for strategic investments
abroad and offer opportunities to network with key industry stakeholders. The
seminar comprises of four key topics, including ‘Agribusiness in Saudi Arabia
and Exploring Future Investment Strategies,’ ‘Exploring Future of Greenhouse
Management and Organic Farming in Saudi Arabia,’ ‘Growing Industries of Poultry
Farming and Aquaculture in Saudi Arabia,’ and ‘Saudi Arabia Irrigation
Challenges and Future Water Resource Solutions.’
Saudi
Agriculture 2014 is set to gather international and local companies to showcase
the latest industry products and technologies to the local and regional
markets. The exhibition covers all aspects of the agriculture and food
industries from cultivation to management, production, packaging and
distribution. The event will showcase a variety of path-breaking solutions for
the agricultural sector, including agriculture building construction, animal
health and production, finance and banking, machinery and equipments, chemicals
and fertilizers, fisheries and fish farming, greenhouses, irrigation and
landscaping equipments, and organic farming.
Held
concurrently with Saudi Agriculture 2014 are Saudi Agro-Food 2014, the 21st
international trade show for food products, ingredients and technologies,
and Saudi Food-Pack 2014 – the 4th
international trade exhibition for food processing & packaging. Noted as
the regional industry leader and being UFI accredited event, Saudi Agriculture
2014 gathers high-ranking government officials, major producers, manufacturers,
dealers, agents and distributors to explore new partnerships and growth

"المعرض الزراعي السعودي
2014" ينطلق الأسبوع المقبل
الحدث يتضمن سلسةً
من الندوات المتخصّصة لتسليط الضوء على أحدث توجهات القطاع

في 03 سبتمبر 2014 - تحت رعاية وزارة الزراعة السعودية، ينطلق
"المعرض الزراعي السعودي 2014"، المعرض التجاري الدولي الثالث والثلاثون
للزراعة والمياه والصناعات الزراعية، يوم الأحد القادم (12 ذو القعدة الموافق 7 سبتمبر
الجاري)، وذلك في مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض. ويستقطب الحدث، الذي
يستمر حتى 15 ذو القعدة الموافق 10 سبتمبر، 350 جهة عارضة من 40 دولة.
وتتعاون
"شركة معارض الرياض المحدودة" مع "شركة المؤتمرات واللقاءات
المتطورة" لتنظيم سلسلة ندوات متخصصة بالقطاع الزراعي في المملكة، توفر من
خلالها منصة لاستعراض الإستراتيجيات الحالية والمستقبلية للإستثمار الزراعي في
الخارج، إلى جانب كيفية الإستخدام الأمثل للموارد المتوفرة فضلاً عن أحدث التوجهات
في عالم التقنية المتخصصة والقطاع الزراعي على مستوى العالم بهدف مواجهة التحديات
وتعزيز الفرص ضمن القطاع المحلي. وتهدف هذه الجلسات المنعقدة خلال يومي 8 و9
سبتمبر الجاري، إلى طرح بعض الحلول المبتكرة لتعزيز الأمن الغذائي في المملكة
وتسليط الضوء على ملامح الأجندة الحكومية الرامية إلى تشجيع الإستثمار الإستراتيجي

المصالح في القطاع. وتغطي السلسلة أربعة محاور رئيسية هي "الأعمال الزراعية
في السعودية وإستكشاف الإستراتيجيات الإستثمارية المستقبلية"، و"دراسة
مستقبل إدارة البيوت البلاستيكية الزراعية والزراعة العضوية في السعودية"،
و"صناعات تربية الدواجن والأحياء المائية المتنامية في المملكة"،
و"تحديات قطاع الري في المملكة والحلول المستقبلية للحفاظ على الموارد
المائية".
ويحظى
"المعرض الزراعي السعودي 2014" بأهميةٍ خاصةٍ لكونه يجمع كبرى الشركات
المحلية والعالمية تحت سقفٍ واحدٍ لإستعراض أحدث المنتجات والتقنيات المتخصّصة أمام
