Samsung expands its product Portfolio at IFA 2014

Samsung unveils its latest innovations and products including the Note 4, Gear S, curved TV, latest smart home concept and the world’s first Android printer


Berlin, Germany – [September 04, 2014] – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled its latest innovations and products at the 2014 UNPACKED event and the 2014 IFA, including the Samsung note 4, Gear S, the next generation smart wearable devices, the World’s 1st Printer Powered by Android and the new Samsung Smart home products. 
Samsung expanded its flagship Galaxy Note series with the new Galaxy Note 4 blending an evolved S Pen with a superior viewing experience, the Galaxy Note 4 provides users with the most unique and powerful mobile experience on the market.
“The Galaxy Note series signaled extraordinary innovation within the technology industry. Its larger screen size and iconic S Pen technology launched a new standard in smartphone culture,” said JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Communication at Samsung Electronics. “With the introduction of the Galaxy Note series, we brought the age-old culture of the pen and notepad into the digital world. The new Galaxy Note 4 introduces the most refined Note experience to-date by combining all the latest technology that users expect from the Galaxy series.”
The Galaxy Note 4 also sports an advanced camera system that is able to reproduce brighter and clearer images with a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera featuring a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer that counter-balances camera shake and automatically extends exposure time in dark settings. In addition, a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9 offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle so users can take the best group shots with friends.
Its extraordinary 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560x1440) Super AMOLED display reproduces clearer and more vivid images with deep contrast, better viewing angles, and response times as fast as a millionth of a second, providing a tremendous viewing experience. With the Fast Charging feature and Ultra Power Saving Mode, the Galaxy Note 4 charges faster and ensures that users don’t run out of power when they need it most. The Galaxy Note 4 also offers an improved Fingerprint Scanner, to secure personal data and the world’s first UV sensor in a mobile device.
This new S Pen offers a much more authentic pen experience, with a more natural brush effect introducing a more user-friendly Air Command functionality along with other intuitive features such as Action Memo, Screen Write, Image Clip and Smart Select that allows users to create and collect content with ease.

 Samsung Gear S Enhances the Smart Wearable Experience and expands the smartphone experience to the wrist.  The Samsung Gear S features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display, it allows users to read messages and notifications at a single glance with features such as conversation view and condensed font. Its customizable screen options and changeable straps empower users to express their own taste and style. The Samsung Gear S extends its communication capabilities to include 3G as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
 In addition to the latest wearable technology, Samsung Electronics announced ten new multi-function printer (MFP) models. The MFPs (Multifunction printers) are the first printers of their kind to be equipped with an Android operating system. The new Samsung Smart MultiXpress series of MFPs each feature a 10.1-inch full touch screen panel, Samsung’s Smart UX Center and NFC pro that enables users to search and print from web browsers, emails, maps, images and other types of content – without the need to connect to a PC or server. The touch screen also offers the ability to preview documents, as well as editing capabilities. It also allows on-the-go connectivity through Samsung Cloud Print.
Samsung also unveiled its latest total curved solutions including with an expanded lineup of Curved TV and audio products that provide ‘Total Curved Solutions’ for consumers. The expanded lineup includes 17 Curved TVs in FHD, UHD and LED ranging in size from 48” to 105”; its revolutionary 105” Bendable UHD TV, and a new Curved Soundbar – solidifying Samsung’s role as a leader in the curved market trend. Samsung also announced its partnership with world-renowned digital artist, Miguel Chevalier, to create the “Origin of the Curve” digital art installation, which will be on display at the Samsung booth during IFA 2014, from September 5-10.
Samsung also expanded its Smart home portfolio with Innovative new products and services making the Smart Home a reality, The new range of services and products include Samsung’s safety services that let users monitor the interior of the home by connecting digital door locks and IP cameras so that they can remotely and securely assess who is entering and exiting their home, the Samsung Smart Home service monitors the amount of electricity used by energy intensive appliances such as air-conditioners and displays the expected cost of the energy consumption, People can also  activate the air conditioner, robot vacuum cleaner and Smart LED lights anytime, from anywhere through S Voice, the voice recognition service embedded in the wearable Gear series as well as via Galaxy smartphones.

برلين، ألمانيا في 4 سبتمبر 2014- خلال مشاركتها في معرض IFA2014 العالمي في برلين، كشفت شركة سامسونج للإلكترونيات عن باقة من أحدث منتجاتها فائقة التطور، والتي تتضمن هاتف Note 4 وسوار Gear S والتلفزيون المنحني وأحدث مفاهيم المنزل الذكي أو طابعة اندرويد في العالم.

يقدم Galaxy Note 4 كاميرا خلفية بجودة 16 ميجابيكسل لالتقاط صور أكثر دقة ووضوح. كما أن الكاميرا مزودة بخاصية (Smart Optical Image Stabilizer) لضمان ثبات الصور عند اهتزاز الكاميرا والتقاط صور واضحة في الأماكن ذات الإضاءة الضعيفة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك فإن الهاتف مزود بكاميرا أمامية بجودة 3.7 ميجابيكسل والتي تصل زاوية تصويرها الأساسية إلى 90 درجة كما تصل زاوية تصويرها الواسعة إلى 120 درجة لالتقاط أفضل الصور الجماعية مع الأصدقاء.

يتميز Galaxy Note 4 بخصائص عائلة Galaxy Note الفريدة والتي تضمن تجربة استخدام لا تضاهى، حيث يبلغ حجم شاشته 5.7 بوصة بجودة فائقة الوضوح (2560×1440) وهي من طراز (Super AMOLED) لضمان عرض الصور بوضوح ودقة. كما أن سرعة استجابة الشاشة تصل إلى واحد على مليون من الثانية.

يأتي Galaxy Note 4 مزودًا بخاصية الشحن السريع وخاصية (Ultra Power Saving Mode) لضمان شحن البطارية في وقت قياسي مع عدم استهلاكها سريعًا . يقدم Galaxy Note 4 أيضًا أحدث تطوير لخاصية (Fingerprint Scanner) لتأمين البيانات الشخصية كما يقدم أول جهاز استشعار للآشعة فوق البنفسجية في مجال الهواتف المحمولة.

يقدم S Pen تجربة غير مسبوقة حيث يعمل بطريقة أكثر محاكاة لطريقة استخدام القلم للكتابة على الورق. كما يقدم S Pen أيضًا خاصية إعطاء الأوامر عن بعد بالإضافة إلى العديد من الخصائص الفريدة الأخرى مثل Action Memo وScreen Write وImage Clip وSmart Select لسهولة التحكم في المحتوى.

يُعد سوار Gear S، إحدى تقنيات الجيل القادم للاتصالات الذكية، حيث يمكن ارتداؤه في اليد وهو امتداد لتجربة الهواتف الذكية.Gear S عبارة عن سوار بشاشة 2 بوصة منحنيةAMOLED ، حيث تتيح للمستخدم قراءة الرسائل والتنبيهات بنظرة واحدة مع مزايا متمثلة في مشاهدة المحادثات التي تتم مع الآخرين بخط واضح وعريض. تتميز شاشة السوار ببدائل متنوعة للتخصيص قابلة للتغيير تمكن المستخدم من التعبير عن شخصيته وذوقه الخاص. ويتمتع السوار بإمكانيات متعددة للاتصالات تشمل اتصالات الجيل الثالث 3G، وتقنية بلوتوث و Wi-Fi.

وبالإضافة للاعلان عن إطلاق Gear s، أطلقت سامسونج 10 موديلات من طابعةMFPمتعددة الوظائف وكذلك طابعات (MFPs) والتي تعد الطابعات الأولى من نوعها في العالمالمجهزة بنظام تشغيل اندرويد.

إن السلسلة الجديدة من طابعات سامسونج الذكيةMultiXpressمتعددة الوظائف وتتمتع بشاشة تشغيل مقاس 10.1 بوصة تعمل باللمس. تتضمن الطابعات الجديدة العديد من المزايا مثل Smart UX Center والاتصال قريب المدىNFC التي تتيح البحث والطباعة من الويب مباشرة، ورسائل البريد الإلكتروني والخرائط والصور وغيرها – دون الحاجة لتوصيل الطابعةبجهاز كمبيوتر أو خادم. تعمل شاشة اللمس على زيادة قدرة المستخدم على مراجعة الوثائق قبل طباعتها، وكذلك تغيير المحتوى. يمكن أيضاً طباعة المستندات والوثائق عبر printSamsung cloud

في نفس الوقت أطلقت سامسونج أحدث حلول سامسونج المتكاملة للمنتجات المنحنية للترفيه المنزلي، من خلال الإعلان عن باقة جديد من التلفزيونات المنحنية الجديدة ومجموعة من المنتجات الصوتية ذات التصميم المنحني للمستهلكين. وتتضمن الباقة الجديدة 17 تلفزيون من طرازات FHD، UHD، وLED بمقاسات تتراوح من 48 حتى 105 بوصة. وتلفزيون سامسونج الثوري الجديد UHD القابل للثني بقياس 105 بوصة وكذلك نظام السماعات المنحنية Soundbar- وهو ما يؤكد دور سامسونج الريادي في مجال المنتجات التكنولوجية المنحنية. تعاونت سامسونج أيضاً مع فنان الوسائط الرقمية العالميميجلشيفالييه، لإنتاج العرض الرقمي الفني "أصل المنحنى"، والذي سيتم عرضه في جناح سامسونج بمؤتمرIFA 2014خلال الفترة 5-10 سبتمبر.

قامت سامسونج أيضاً خلال المعرض بالإعلان عن مجموعة من الحلول المتطورة للمنزل الذكي، من خلال اطلاق عدد من المنتجات والخدمات الجديدة، مما يجعل البيت الذكي حقيقة واقعة. وتتضمن الباقة الجديدة من المنتجات والخدمات خدمات السلامة والأمان المنزلي، لمراقبة ومتابعة المنزل من الداخل من خلال الاتصال بشاشة رقمية على الباب وكاميرا الكترونية متصلة على الانترنت وبالتالي يمكن التحكم في تحديد الشخص القادم وفتح الباب له من عدمه. يراقب النظام المتطور للمنازل الذكية من سامسونج كمية الكهرباء المستهلكة والأجهزة التي تستهلك أكبر قدر من الطاقة في المنزل مثل تكييف الهواء، وعرض التكلفة المتوقعة لها. يمكن أيضاً لمستخدمي النظام تشغيل تكييف الهواء أو المكنسة الكهربائية الآلية وإضاءة LEDالذكية من أي مكان وفي أي وقت من خلال تطبيق S Voice أو خدمة التعرف على الصوت الموجودة في سوار Gear S وهواتف سامسونج جالاكسي الذكية.
