2014 – The captivating architecture and interior design of Iberotel
Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort, has landed the five-star beach hotel a
shortlisted nomination for the 2015 International Hotel & Property Awards.
Hosted by the renowned interior design magazine design et al, the International Hotel and Property Awards reward
the best in interior design on a global scale. Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah
Beach Resort has been shortlisted in the category ‘Global Beach Hotel’.
Constance Ephelia in the Seychelles is a previous winner of the same
category.
Situated on the Fujeirah coast, nestled
between the Indian Ocean and Hajar Mountains, the hotel’s architecture
reflects design themes from multiple cultures that are relevant to the
region. A combination of Arabian, Moroccan and Eastern designs are
complemented with atmospheric lanterns, Moorish balconies and a
Mediterranean open-air amphitheatre.

The winner will be announced at the awards

won an award for ‘Best Lobby/Reception/Public Lounge’ at the Middle East
Hotel Awards 2012.
