Street, a Middle Eastern eatery that serves popular traditional, home-styled
street food, has pledged to donate free Manakeesh to local mosques and labor
camps in Dubai as part of its celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The initiative,
which is called ‘Pay it Forward’, is being held in partnership with Mediaquest
Corporation, one of the region’s leading media houses. Mediaquest will help
drive in public participation and awareness for this CSR campaign and Man’oushe
Street has pledged to donate five Manakeesh for every ‘like’ or additional follower
that they receive on their social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram
during the entire month of Ramadan.

have always been inspired to run CSR-based campaigns during the Holy Month of
Ramadan and this year we are continuing with our annual commitment to donate
free Manakeesh to the needy," said Jihad El Eit, Founder and CEO,
Man'oushe Street. "We would like to thank our partner, Mediaquest, for helping
us run this activity. We also encourage everyone to join us in this endeavor by
liking or following our Facebook Fan Page and our Instagram account so that
more Manakeesh can be donated across local mosques and labor camps in Dubai
this Ramadan."

This
year’s activity follows after the success of Man’oushe Street’s previous
campaign, ‘Like to help someone.’ During last year’s month long celebration of
Ramadan, the company also provided free Manakeesh to select mosques and labor
camps in the UAE.

أطلق "شارع منقوشة"، أحد المطاعم
الرائدة في تقديم أشهى المعجنات والفطائر الشرق أوسطية المخبوزة بالفرن، حملة تبرع
بوجبات مناقيش للمساجد ومخيمات العمال في دبي وذلك في إطار احتفاله بشهر رمضان
المبارك. وتأتي هذه المبادرة، التي أطلقت تحت اسم "إفعل الخير"، بالشراكة
مع "ميديا كويست كوربوريشن" (Mediaquest Corporation)، إحدى
الشركات الإعلامية الرائدة في المنطقة. وستساعد "ميديا كويست" في حشد
المشاركة العامة والتوعية بهذه الحملة المجتمعية، التي قرر مطعم "شارع
منقوشة" من خلالها التبرع بخمس مناقيش مقابل كل ضغطة "إعجاب" أو
متابع لصفحتيه على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي "فيسبوك" (Facebook)
و"انستغرام" (Instagram) خلال شهر رمضان المبارك.
وقال جهاد العيط، المؤسس والرئيس التنفيذي لسلسلة مطاعم
"شارع منقوشة: "لطالما راودتنا فكرة إطلاق حملة مجتمعية خلال الشهر
الكريم، حيث نواصل في هذا العام التزامنا بالتبرع بوجبات مناقيش مجانية للمحتاجين.
ونتقدم بالشكر من شريكنا في هذه الحملة شركة "ميديا كويست" على مساعدتها
في إدارة هذا العمل الخيري. كما نشجع الجميع على الانضمام إلينا في هذه الحملة
وذلك من خلال الضغط على رز "إعجاب" أو متابعتنا على صفحتينا في
"فيسبوك" و"انستغرام" لكي يتم التبرع بأكبر كمية من
المناقيش للمساجد ومخيمات العمال في دبي خلال شهر رمضان المبارك".
من جانبه، قال أيمن حيدر، مدير عام شركة "ميديا
كويست": "نفخر، في ظل الاحتفاء بشهر رمضان المبارك، بمشاركتنا في مبادرة
مطعم "شارع منقوشة" للتبرع بوجبات مناقيش للفئات المحتاجة. ولا تعكس هذه
المبادرة المعنى الحقيقي لشهر العطاء فحسب، وإنما تمنح الشركات كشركتنا ومطعم
"شارع منقوشة" الفرصة لرد الجميل للمجتمع. ونحن نشيد بمطعم "شارع
منقوشة" وبجهوده في هذا الإطار ونؤكد دعمنا لكافة نشاطاته الخيرية".
وتأتي مبادرة هذا العام بعد النجاح الذي حققته الحملة
السابقة التي قام بها مطعم "شارع منقوشة" تحت اسم "سجل إعجابك
لمساعدة الآخرين" طوال شهر رمضان الماضي، حيث قامت سلسلة المطاعم أيضاً
بالتبرع بوجبات مناقيش مجانية لعدد من المساجد ومخيمات العمال المختارة في دولة
الإمارات.
