The Government of
Switzerland and VFS Global introduce a Visa Application Centre in Kuwait
starting 1 June 2014, catering to the growing demand
of Switzerland bound travelers in the region.
As of 1 June 2014, all Schengen visa applications for
Switzerland from applicants residing in Kuwait will be handled by VFS Global.
The key features of
the center are its location, a dedicated website for easy access, appointment
scheduling, professional and responsive staff who speaks local as well as
official Swiss languages to handle the visa application process, application
tracking tool, and door step delivery of passports. The same center also serves
the Governments of Austria, Greece and Spain.

*VFS Global will be responsible only
for accepting applications for Switzerland visas. All applications will
continue to be assessed and processed by the Embassy of Switzerland in Kuwait.
Timelines for turnaround of visas are as per the discretion of the authorities.
