Societe Dubai,
one of Dubai’s top nightclubs, is searching for two outstanding
individuals to travel the world and serve as World Brand Ambassadors.
Since it opened
its doors last December, Societe Dubai has firmly established itself as
one of the coolest venues in the ever popular international city, Dubai.
The venue has received a highly successful initial five months and
played host to many famous faces including former English international
footballer's Peter Crouch and Teddy Sheringham as well as 90s pop
legends East 17, Shola Ama, 2Unlimited and Haddaway. The brand’s
personality of ‘it’s more than just a club – it’s a social community’
has been embraced by the Dubai nightclub scene. The owners now want to
take the Societe Dubai brand to the next level.
Two lucky
individuals who embody the ethos of what Societe Dubai stands for will
be selected as World Brand Ambassadors, and have the once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity to travel to six of the most picturesque locations on the
planet. Dubbed as the ‘Best Job in the UAE,’ they will be engaging with
different nationalities, cultures and sharing the club’s vision and
values.
Among the
destinations on Societe’s hit list are Nepal, Thailand, Turkey and Sri
Lanka, and although the World Brand Ambassadors won’t receive a salary,
their flights and other travel expenses will be paid for.
But first, all
applicants will undergo a unique selection process. Those passing the
first stage of submitting a 'selfie', will then have to create a short
video of themselves. The final task is a face-to-face interview, where
those shortlisted will meet Societe Dubai’s management team. The two
winners will be announced at a special season closing party taking place
on Friday 27th June.
When asked what
characteristics he’s looking for in the perfect World Brand Ambassador,
Gary Holliday, Director at Societe Dubai explained: “We are looking for
charismatic individuals who have extrovert, positive and happy
personalities. Given the nature of the role, they will also need to be
energetic, uninhibited, outrageous and fun.”
Currently
located at the Marina Byblos Hotel in Dubai Marina, the club plays a
variety of hits from the 80s, 90s and 00s amidst the backdrop of its
unique mantra, namely: always wearing a smile, having fun and bringing
people together.
And it is this
same ethos that the club’s directors want to bring to other
international cities. By appointing two World Brand Ambassadors – these
values can be widely shared by individuals who fully appreciate why
Societe Dubai is different to its contemporaries.
