Alpha Data, the
UAE’s leading systems integrator with over 30 years track record,
recently renewed its contract with United Printing Press (UPP), one
of the leading printing firms in the Middle East--a move that
reflected the strong partnership between the two companies. Under the
terms of agreement, Alpha Data will deliver innovative and connected
infrastructure solutions to meet the printing company’s information
technology (IT) needs. The two firms first collaborated in 2013 with
Alpha Data providing project management, consultancy, and training
services to UPP.
With the latest
project, Alpha Data handled the implementation of the Microsoft
System Center software suite and also configured the existing
Exchange cluster. It also helped UPP meet other essential
requirements like the creation of a security patch program for
desktops and servers; virtualization; and the integration of services
desk solution with the existing MS infrastructure. Experts from Alpha
Data also trained UPP staff on how to operate the new infrastructure.
The company successfully completed the project within two months.
UPP reported working
on an improved and secured infrastructure following the
implementation of the new system. The changes resulted in centralized
management of its IT infrastructure, increased server utilization,
and dynamic resource optimization across multiple virtualization
platforms, among others. The new platform further improved the
company’s operations that accelerated and enhanced its services.

حيث أنجزت

المشروع في
غضون شهرين.
وأشارت

إلى
التحسن الذي طرأ على البنية التحتية عقب
تطبيق النظام الجديد ودرجة الأمان العالية
التي وفرها.
وأدت
هذه التغيرات إلى إتاحة الإدارة المركزية
للبنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات
وزيادة استخدام النظام الخادم وتحسن
الموارد الحيوية ضمن مختلف المنصات
الافتراضية، بالإضافة إلى العديد من
الفوائد الأخرى.
كما
عززت المنصة الجديدة من عمليات الشركة
التي شهدت تسارعاً مطرداً، بالإضافة إلى
تحسين خدماتها.
