Lecture on “Employees Happiness” tops agenda

Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) has organized its first ‘Open Day’
for the Spring 2014 Semester for learners and their parents to get a
better idea about its undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Attendees
were introduced to the financial aid schemes, training sessions and
scholarships offered under HBMeU University's virtual learning
environment, which is regarded as the premier academic choice in the UAE
and across the Arab World.
A
lecture titled ‘Employees Happiness’ topped the event agenda, with Dr.
Ibrahim Mahmoud bin AbdulRahman, HBMeU Vice-Chancellor, highlighting the
role of high-quality education in providing future generations with
modern tools to build a successful career and play a positive role in
the community. Dr. Ibrahim shed light on the concept of happiness at
work from the perspective of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who
emphasized in his book “Flashes of Thought” that “It is necessary to
bring happiness to your employees, so that they can bring happiness to
the community.”

huge turnout at the Spring 2014 Semester Open Day affirms the huge
trust the local community has in the e-learning programs offered by
HBMeU, especially as they are based on the highest quality standards and
the most advanced techniques for transferring modern knowledge. These
programs help shape the future of higher education in the Arab world and
enhance the ability of learners to compete within the international
labor markets. HBMeU is committed to excellence in quality management
and the adoption of advanced technologies in e-learning in order to
create a learning environment that is based on the principle of lifelong
learning. It aims to help achieve the aspirations of learners to
undertake effective functional roles and contribute to overall local and
regional development,” said Dr. Dr. Ibrahim Mahmood Bin AbdulRahman.

الإلكترونية" اليوم (الأربعاء 8 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014) فعاليات اليوم المفتوح الأوّل للفصل الدراسي "ربيع
2014" لتمكين الدراسين وأولياء الأمور من الإطّلاع عن
كثب على ملامح البيئة الأكاديمية الإفتراضية واستكشاف البرامج الأكاديمية المعتمدة
من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في دولة الإمارات والمنح الدراسية والدورات
التدريبية ومنهج التعلّم مدى الحياة المتّبع لدى الجامعة التي تعد الخيار
الأكاديمي الأوّل في الإمارات والعالم العربي.
وتخلّل جدول أعمال اليوم المفتوح تنظيم محاضرة تحت عنوان
"السعادة الوظيفية" التي ناقش خلالها الدكتور إبراهيم محمود بن
عبدالرحمن، المدير التنفيذي للجامعة، دور التعليم عالي الجودة في تزويد الأجيال
الجديدة بأدوات حديثة لبناء مستقبل مهني ناجح والقيام بدور إيجابي فاعل في
المجتمع. وتناول الدكتور بن عبدالرحمن مفهوم السعادة الوظيفية من منظور صاحب السمو
الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه
الله، الذي أكّد في كتاب "ومضات من فكر" بأنه "لا بدّ من تحقيق
السعادة لموظفيك حتى يستطيعوا تحقيق السعادة للمجتمع".
وقال الدكتور إبراهيم محمود بأنّ الإقبال الواسع الذي
تشهده فعاليات اليوم المفتوح تؤكّد الثقة العالية التي يوليها المجتمع المحلي
لبرامج التعليم الإلكتروني المقدمة لدى "جامعة حمدان بن محمّد
الإلكترونية" والقائمة على أعلى معايير الجودة وأحدث التقنيات المتقدّمة في
نقل المعرفة الحديثة بما يسهم في إعادة تشكيل مستقبل التعليم العالي في العالم
العربي وتعزيز قدرة الدراسين على المنافسة ضمن أسواق العمل الدولية. وأوضح بأنّ الجامعة
مُلتزمة بمواصلة السير على نهج التميّز في إدارة الجودة وتبنّي أحدث التقنيات
المتطوّرة في التعليم الإلكتروني في سبيل خلق بيئة تعليمية قائمة على مبدأ التعلّم
مدى الحياة لتلبية تطلّعات الدارسين في القيام بأدوار وظيفية فاعلة والمساهمة في
مسيرة التنمية الشاملة على المستويين المحلي والإقليمي."
