bank honored for ‘Best Securities Dealing Services’ & ‘Best Financial
Research Firm’

MENACORP,
the UAE’s leading investment bank, received two major recognitions – ‘Best
Securities Dealing Services’ and ‘Best Financial Research Firm’ – at the 2013 GCC
Investment and Development Awards held recently by London-based World Finance
Magazine, one of the financial industry’s most prestigious publications.
World
Finance has been recognizing industry achievement, innovation and brilliance
through its annual awards since 2007. A judging panel with a collective
experience of 230 years of financial and business journalism picks out winners
through the support of a research team and the key insights of readers. In this
year’s awards, MENACORP tied for the most number of awards won under its
category in the company of other prominent winners such as the International
Petroleum Investment Company, Kuwait
Investment Company, Khalifa Port Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Industrial Development
Company.

CEO Fathi Ben Grira personally accepted the company’s two awards during a
ceremony held at the London Stock Exchange
in the presence of senior representatives of World Finance Magazine.

publication as prestigious as World Finance Magazine, and for two awards at the
GCC level at that. This recognition is a testament to MENACORP’s emergence as a
respected player within the regional financial services industry. It also
reflects our successful realization of the visions of our Chairman, Mr. Hamad
Ghanem Bin Hamoodah.” said Ben Grira.
MENACORP has consistently ranked first in terms of
trade value on both the Dubai Financial Market and the Abu Dhabi Stock
Exchange. It currently handles the largest team of brokers in the MENA region.
The brokerage house is a preferred resource for daily technical analysis
reports in both the English and Arabic languages on several listed companies.
For 2014, MENACORP plans to engage in several
high-profile Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) across the UAE markets and continue
to provide critical research support for clients.

حصلت "ميناكورب" (MENACORP)، المجموعة الرائدة في مجال الخدمات المالية في دولة الإمارات، على
جائزتين هامتين هما؛ "أفضل خدمات تعامل مع أسواق الأوراق المالية" (Best
Securities Dealing Services) و"أفضل شركة بحوث مالية"
(Best Financial Research Firm)، وذلك
خلال حفل توزيع جوائز الاستثمار والتنمية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي 2013 (2013
GCC Investment and Development Awards) والذي أقامته مؤخراً
مجلة "وورلد فاينانس" (World Finance Magazine) ومقرها لندن وتعد واحدة من أبرز المطبوعات في القطاع المالي.
وتقوم "وورلد
فاينانس" منذ العام 2007، بتكريم الإنجازات والابتكارات والتميز في قطاعات
مختلفة من خلال جوائزها السنوية. وقامت لجنة تحكيم تتميز بخبرة جماعية تصل إلى 230
عاماً من الصحافة المالية وصحافة الأعمال، باختيار الفائزين عبر دعم قدمه فريق
بحوث وأفكار طرحها قراء المجلة. وخلال جوائز هذا العام، فازت "ميناكورب"
بأكبر عدد من الجوائز ضمن فئتها في شراكة مع غيرها من أبرز الفائزين مثل شركة
الاستثمارات البترولية الدولية والشركة الكويتية للاستثمار وميناء خليفة في أبوظبي
والشركة السعودية للتنمية الصناعية.

الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "ميناكورب"، شخصياً الجائزتين خلال الحفل، الذي عقد
في مقر بورصة لندن بحضور كبار ممثلي مجلة "وورلد فاينانس".
وقال بن قريرة: "إنه
لإنجاز كبير أن يتم تكريم فريقنا والمساهمين في مجموعة بن حمودة من قبل مطبوعة
مرموقة كمجلة "وورلد فاينانس"، والحصول على جائزتين على مستوى دول مجلس
التعاون الخليجي. ويعد هذا التكريم دليلاً على بروزنا كلاعب متميز في قطاع الخدمات
المالية. كما أنه يعكس تنفيذنا الناجح لرؤى رئيس مجلس إدارتنا السيد حمد غانم بن
حمودة".
وتصنف
"ميناكورب" على الدوام في المرتبة الأولى من حيث قيمة التداول في سوقي
دبي المالي وأبوظبي للأوراق المالية. وتدير المجموعة حالياً أكبر فريق من الوسطاء
على مستوى الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. كما أنها تعتبر مصدراً مفضلاً لتقارير
التحليل الفني اليومية باللغتين الإنكليزية والعربية حول العديد من الشركات المدرجة.
