Jotun Paints, one of the world’s leading producers and distributors of paints and powder coatings, received a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ from Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) of Dubai Municipality. The certificate was given during ‘Customer Gathering 2013,’ an annual event attended by Dubai Central Laboratory’s key stakeholders, partners and customers, which was held at Atlantis Hotel, The Palm in Dubai. Jotun also participated as the event’s sole sponsor.
The certificate of appreciation was presented by Engineer Hawa Abdullah Bastaki, Director, DCL to Vishaal Kodikal, Marketing Manager, Jotun Paints in the presence of VIPs and senior government officials present at the event. ‘Customer Gathering 2013’ was aimed at discussing key trends, issues and views across today’s laboratory-based facilities. The event also served as a strategic platform to discuss the roadmap to development that Dubai Central Laboratory will be undertaking in the next few years. Dubai Central Laboratory was established in 1997 with the aim of centralizing all the labs within Dubai Municipality under one department. It is the first Department within Dubai Municipality to be awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification and has also recently achieved DAC certification to ISO IEC Guide 65.

مختبر دبي المركزي يمنح شهادة تقدير لـ "جوتن للدهانات"

تسلّمت شركة "جوتن للدهانات" الرائدة في مجال إنتاج وتوريد الدهانات والطلاء وبودرة الحماية، شهادة تقدير من مختبر دبي المركزي تثميناً لتعاونها مع "مختبر دبي المركزي". وكان ذلك خلال فعاليات اللقاء السنوي الذي نظّمه الأخير يوم 30 أكتوبر الجاري في فندق "أتلانتس" في نخلة دبي بحضور نخبة من المساهمين والشركاء والعملاء لدى المختبر. وشاركت "جوتن للدهانات" بصفتها الراعي الوحيد للحدث.
وقدمت المهندسة حواء عبدالله بستكي، مديرة ادارة " مختبر دبي المركزي "، شهادة التقدير إلى فيشال كوديكال، مدير إدارة التسويق في "جوتن للدهانات"، وذلك بحضور نخبة من المسؤولين وكبار التنفيذيين والشخصيات البارزة خلال الحدث. وجاء تنظيم اللقاء السنوي لمناقشة أبرز الإتجاهات والموضوعات المتعلقة بإدارة المرافق التابعة للمختبر. وقدّم الحدث منصةً إستراتيجيةً لإستعراض الخطة التنموية التي يعتزم "مختبر دبي المركزي" على تطبيقها خلال السنوات القليلة المقبلة. ويُذكَر أن المختبر قد تأسّس في العام 1997 بهدف توحيد جميع المختبرات التابعة لبلدية دبي تحت مظلة واحدة، وهو يعد أول ادارة في بلدية دبي تحصل على شهادة "أيزو 9001:2000". كما وحازت مؤخراً على شهادة إعتماد من "مركز اعتماد تقييم المطابقة" بناءً على الدليل الإرشادي أيزو/ أي إي سي 65.
وقال كوديكال: "إنه لشرف كبير لنا أن نحصل على هذه الشهادة من قبل "مختبر دبي المركزي" والتي تشكل مصدر إلهامٍ بالنسبة لنا لمواصلة العمل في إطار الجهود المشتركة الرامية إلى توفير أفضل الخدمات المرتكزة على المختبر وتنفيذ المبادرات المعنية بتعزيز حماية المستهلك وتحقيق رضا المتعاملين على مستوى الإمارة."
