Shell Lubricants Egypt is set to welcome over 300 leading experts and business leaders to its third annual “Shell Technology Leadership Conference”.
October 23, Cairo: Shell Lubricants Egypt is proud to announce it is hosting the third annual Shell Technology Leadership Conference scheduled to take place between October 31st and November 3rd in Marsa Alam, Egypt.
The summit, which brings together over 80 top local and international companies operating in Egypt, will tackle the pressing issue of global sustainability under the theme “Energy – Water – Food: In Search of Resilience”. The event will tackle the complex issues posed by increasing pressure on our planet’s essential resources. Shell believes cross-sector collaboration and leadership will be essential in helping meet the world’s future energy needs, while also finding sustainable solutions to overcome the challenges of climate change and the energy-water-food stresses.
Key speakers include Mr. Jeroen Regtien, Vice President, Country Chairman & Managing Director of Shell Egypt N.V., as well as Mr. Tarek Tawfik, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Federation of Industries, Mr. Tamer Abol Ghar, Philips' Country Manager Egypt/Sudan, Mr. Philippe Duamelle, UNICEF's representative in Egypt, Mr. Hussien Foda, Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations Africa and Middle East for PepsiCo. and Dr. Seddik Afifi, President of Al Nahda University.

It will also dissect the latest trends and technology surrounding lubrication, oil analysis, energy reliability and best practices in manufacturing and energy production using Shell products.

"شل للزيوت" مصر تستضيف أكثر من 300 خبير ورواد أعمال لحضور مؤتمرها السنوي الثالث للريادة التكنولوجية
القاهرة،23 نوفمبر 2013، تفخر شركة "شل للزيوت" مصر بأن تعلن عن استضافتها للمؤتمر السنوي الثالث للريادة التكنولوجية المقرر عقدة خلال الفترة من 31 أكتوبر حتى 3 نوفمبر 2013 بمدينة مرسى علم، مصر.
ويستضيف المنتدى - الذي يُعقد تحت عنوان "الطاقة - الماء - الغذاء .. البحث عن حلول مرنه" - ممثلين لما يزيد على 80 شركة من كبرى الشركات المحلية والدولية العاملة في مصر، وذلك لمناقشة سبل معالجة هذه القضية الملحة المتمثلة في مصادر الاستدامة على مستوى العالم. وسيتناول المنتدى مناقشة القضايا المعقدة التي تنشأ من خلال تزايد الضغط على الموارد الأساسية لكوكبنا.
وتؤمن " شل " بأن التعاون المشترك بين القطاعات والقيادة سيكون أمراً أساسياً للمساعدة في تلبية احتياجات العالم المستقبلية من الطاقة، في الوقت الذي يتم فيه البحث عن حلول مستدامة لمواكبة الضغوط التي يفرضها تغير المناخ والضغوط على مصادر الطاقة والماء والغذاء.
هذا من أبرز المتحدثين خلال المنتدى: السيد/ يورون رختين- رئيس مجلس الإدارة والمدير التنفيذي لشركة شل مصر، والسيد / طارق توفيق - نائب رئيس اتحاد الصناعات المصرية والسيد / تامر أبو الغار، المدير التنفيذي لشركة فيليبس في مصر والسودان، والسيد/ فيليب دواميل، ممثل صندوق الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (يونيسف) في مصر، والسيد / حسين فودة، نائب رئيس شركة بيبسيكو لشؤون التوريدات والعمليات بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا والدكتور صديق عفيفي، رئيس جامعة النهضة.
هذا وقد صرح السيد/ يورون رختين، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والمدير التنفيذي لشركة شل مصر قائلاً " فباعتبارنا الشركة الرائدة عالمياً في مجال الطاقة والابتكار، تأمل "شل" في دفع التقدم في مجال تطوير نظام أفضل لطاقة المستقبل والتي لا يمكن أن ينظر إليها على أنها منفصلة عن أنظمة الغذاء والماء. كما نعتقد أنه لا يمكن تحقيق أي تقدم في إطار هذه المنظومة دون التعاون المشترك بين قطاع البترول والقطاعين العام والخاص." كما أضاف قائلاً: " ومن خلال مؤتمر الريادة التكنولوجية لشل، نأمل في تقديم مساهمة إيجابية يشملها التفاهم والحوار حول هذه القضية الحيوية بالنسبة لمصر".
وعقب السيد/ ساهر هاشم، العضو المنتدب لشركة شل للزيوت مصر – قائلاً: " يأتي هذا الحدث للدفع بأفضل الكوادر البشرية على مستوى العالم في المجالات المختلفة للعمل معاً على إيجاد طرق غير مسبوقة ومبتكرة للمشاكل التي نواجهها. فلا يمكننا تجاهل فرصة كوننا جزءاً من هذه المنظومة، ولهذا يرجع سبب استضافتنا لهذه القمة.
