The ePay gateway allows individual and corporate customers to pay online for over 250 eServices provided by the participating entities including DEWA bill payment, DED license renewal fee payment, RTA Salik and Nol recharging, Dubai Police traffic fine settlements and Dubai Cares donations in addition to paying for medical fitness certificates and healthcare facility license renewals from Dubai Health Authority.

Welcoming this move, H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai Smart Government, said: “We are pleased that Al Jalila Foundation, which aims at facilitating medical treatment for individuals incapable of affording it as well as providing academic scholarships and launching health awareness programmes, has joined the ePay gateway, which is part of our initiative aimed at making it easy for Dubai customers to obtain government services and for settling the fees of these services. It will also help philanthropists offer their donations via innovative channels round the clock. The ePay gateway, which now has 26 participating entities, is seeing strong adoption from local departments and entities in the emirate, allowing customers to leverage the advantages of ePayment services to complete their government transactions,” added Bin Humaidan.

Bin Humaidan pointed out that Dubai has made great strides towards eGovernment applications, specifically in financial transactions, which is most important to corporate and individual users. “We have managed to significantly boost customer confidence in the updated ePay gateway by raising the level of security across the ePay system and offering multi-channel payment facilities to choose from.”

Dr. Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama the CEO of Al Jalila Foundation, said: “We are deeply grateful to be part of the eGovernment network as this gives our donors access to cutting edge fundraising channels. Dubai Government is using innovation as a tool to enhance connectivity and cohesion within the population, and this mirrors our own efforts to make the UAE a leader in medical innovation. By making the contribution process faster, simpler and more user-friendly, we are empowering the community to transform lives at any time, from any location.”

Meanwhile, Al Jalila Foundation has joined the ePay gateway in preparation for inclusion in the near future among the departments and entities participating in Dubai Smart Government’s mPay gateway, which allows customers to inquire about and pay the fees of the participating entities, and also in the mPay application, which combines all services in one place for implementation in line with the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for switching to smart government, enabling individuals to complete their government transactions from one place and via mobile devices.

The mPay gateway allows service fees to be inquired about and paid through the traditional methods, either through SMS to 4488 after adding the approved codes obtained when registering in the service website, https://mpay.dubai.ae, or through auto-payment, whether regularly or as desired with a customer fixing a specific date for deduction from account, using the auto-payment feature of government services available on the gateway.
