[UAE, June 11, 2013] - Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) has recently honoured the winners of Kano Medal: Excellence Catalyst during an event held at the University campus in the presence of H.E. Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Chief and Chairman of HBMeU's Board of Governors. The award has been developed for the purpose of encouraging quality professionals in different parts of the world to continue doing the important work of facilitating the introduction of quality and excellence concepts and supporting the smooth implementation of quality improvement programs in their employer organizations.
This medal aims to honor the incessant work that Professor Kano has conducted in various parts of the world over many years and to recognize his unique and significant contribution enabling quality to grow in both public and private sector.
The recipients of the Kano Medal Excellence Catalyst for 2013 were Dr .Ahmed Al Nuseirat, Coordinator General, Dubai Governmental Excellence Program, the Executive Council Government of Dubai; Dr. Ayed T. Al-Amri, President, Saudi Quality Council (Western Region) and the Chairman, Middle East Quality Association (MEQA); Professor Hadi Mohammed Ahmed Eltigani, Executive Director, Corporate Support Division, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Coordinator General, Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award; Dr. Lway Nackasha, Adviser, Service Quality Assurance, Al Ain Municipality and Advisor, Sharjah Economic Excellence Award; Dr. Medhat Anwar Mohammed Aly, CEO, Global Vision Consulting and Training (GVCAT), KSA and Excellence & Quality Expert; Mr Oussama Hamad, the Senior Consultant, Dubai Government Excellence Program, Executive Council of the Government of Dubai; and Mrs Yasera Ghosheh, Executive Director, King Abdullah II Center for Excellence.

الإمارات، 11 يونيو 2013، بهدف تشجيع المتخصصين في الجودة في أنحاء متعددة من العالم على متابعة العمل المهم في إدخال ونشر مفاهيم الجودة والتميز وتطبيق برامج تطوير الجودة في مؤسساتهم، كرمت "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية" مؤخراً الفائزين بـ "ميدالية كانو لروّاد التميز 2013" في مبنى الجامعة في مدينة دبي الأكاديمية، وذلك بحضور معالي الفريق ضاحي خلفان تميم، القائد العام لشرطة دبي رئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية. وتعتبر "ميدالية كانو لروّاد التميز" تكريماً لعمل البروفيسور "كانو" في أنحاء متعددة من العالم على مدى سنين طويلة واعترافاً بإسهاماته الفريدة والجوهرية في تمكين الجودة من النمو في كلا القطاعين العام والخاص.
واشتملت قائمة الفائزين بـ "ميدالية كانو لرواد التميز" للعام 2013 على كلّ من الدكتور أحمد عبدالله النصيرات، المُنسق العام لبرنامج دبي للأداء الحكومي المتميز، والمهندس أسامة حماد، مستشار أول برنامج دبي للأداء الحكومي المتميز في الأمانة العامة للمجلس التنفيذي لإمارة دبي، والدكتور عايض العمري، رئيس المجلس السعودي للجودة ورئيس جمعية الشرق الأوسط الدولية للجودة في دبي، والدكتور لؤي نقاشة، مستشار ضمان الجودة والخدمات في بلدية مدينة العين ومستشار جائزة الشارقة للتميز الاقتصادي، والدكتور مدحت أنور محمد علي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الرؤيا الكونية للاستشـارات والتدريب وخبير الجودة والتميز، والبروفيسور هادي محمد التيجاني، المدير التنفيذي لدائرة الدعم المؤسسي في غرفة تجارة وصناعة أبوظبي والمنسق العام لجائزة الشيخ خليفة للامتياز، والأستاذة ياسرة غوشة، المدير التنفيذي لمركز الملك عبدالله الثاني للتميز.
