Auto extravaganza to sport new look, feature over 280 car models

Al Hilal Bank will once again roll out its innovative ‘walk in, drive out’ financing scheme at the 5th Al Hilal Auto Festival taking place from March 14 to 17, 2013 at the Beach Car Parking, Corniche, Abu Dhabi
Over the past few years, the annual festival organized by Al Hilal Bank has attracted a huge following as one of the country’s premier auto shows. Its innovative ‘walk in, drive out’ financing promo enables visitors to own a new car and take it home within just 60 minutes. The show’s enormous popularity eventually led to the launching of a separate show in Dubai, the Al Hilal Dubai Auto Festival, in 2012.
This year’s Abu Dhabi extravaganza will feature a new show format and will display more than 280 branded cars via a Fashion Car Show and motorcycle and yacht displays. True to its carnival-style theme, the Festival will also include a kids’ village, drummers, and heritage food items, among many others. Various government and corporate entities will be participating as well.
“The Al Hilal Auto Festival began as an event for offering some of the best automobile financing deals to the public but eventually grew into a fun, family-friendly annual event. For this year we are adopting a new format that builds further on the show’s successful evolution and reflects its growth into a socially relevant gathering,” said Mohammed Jamil Berro, CEO of Al Hilal Bank.
More than 40,000 visitors attended the 2012 Al Hilal Auto show. Elements such as food courts for children and adults, praying areas and a VIP tent will be incorporated into this year’s edition to cater to the diverse visitor profiles and accommodate expectedly larger crowds. The festival events will run from 4 pm to 12 pm daily.

يقدم مصرف الهلال مرة أخرى نظامه المبتكر للتمويل "تجول وقد سيارتك" خلال مهرجانه الخامس للسيارات والذي سيقام خلال الفترة من 14 ولغاية 17 مارس/آذار الجاري في منطقة مواقف السيارات على شاطئ كورنيش أبوظبي.
وعلى مدى السنوات القليلة الماضي، حظي المهرجان، الذي ينظمه سنوياً مصرف الهلال، المصرف الإسلامي الرائد في دولة الإمارات، بإقبال ومتابعة كبيرة كواحد من أهم معارض السيارات في الدولة. ويتيح نظامه المبتكر للتمويل "تجول وقد سيارتك" للزوار إمتلاك سيارة جديدة وقيادتها خلال 60 دقيقة. وأدت الشعبية الكبيرة لهذا المهرجان إلى إطلاق معرض منفصل في دبي تحت اسم مهرجان مصرف الهلال للسيارات في دبي 2012.
وسيتميز مهرجان أبوظبي لهذا العام بحلة جديدة وسيعرض أكثر من 280 طرازاً للسيارات من خلال معرض للسيارات وعروض أخرى للدراجات النارية واليخوت. وإيفاءاً لموضوع المهرجان، سيشتمل الحدث أيضاً على قرية للأطفال وعروض الطبالة والمأكولات التراثية والعديد من الأنشطة الأخرى. كما سيشارك في هذا المهرجان مختلف الهيئات الحكومية والمؤسسات التجارية.
وقال السيد محمد جميل برو الرئيس التنفيذي لمصرف الهلال: "بدأ مهرجان مصرف الهلال للسيارات لتقديم بعض من أفضل عروض تمويل السيارات للجمهور، لكنه تطور ليصبح فيما بعد حدثاً سنوياً ترفيهياً يناسب العائلات أيضاً. ونعتمد في هذا العام شكلاً جديداً يستند أكثر إلى التطور الكبير الذي طرأ على هذا المهرجان ويعكس كذلك نجاح الحدث كملتقى اجتماعي".
وحضر مهرجان مصرف الهلال للسيارات خلال دورة العام الماضي أكثر من 40,000 زائر. وسيتم في دورة هذا العام إدراج عناصر مثل مطاعم للأطفال واليافعين ومناطق للصلاة وخيمة لكبار الشخصيات وذلك لتلبية مختلف أذواق الزوار واستيعاب أكبر عدد متوقع من الزوار. وستقام فعاليات المهرجان يومياً من الساعة 4:00 وحتى 12:00 مساءً.
