Newly developed Hempel coatings serve as ideal solution for passive fire protection of steel structures

Hempel, one of the world's largest, independent suppliers of decorative, marine and protective coatings, has recently launched in Oman its new “Hempacore” brand of intumescent coatings, which is an efficient solution for passive fire protection of steel structures. The launch of Hempacore, which was held at Crown Plaza in Muscat and attended by representatives from governmental and private organizations, sustains Hempel’s aggressive expansion plans in Oman as the company now caters to all coating needs of clients with a complete range of protective coatings, including both fire and corrosion protection.
A detailed presentation about the special features and superior technical qualities of Hempacore was also shared during the event by Lars Risum, Hempel Group’s Business Development Manager for Intumescent Coatings. Risum explained that Hempacore, which has been approved by various international certifying agencies, is a state-of-art intumescent product when it comes to offering customers with efficiency, flexibility, and durability. The products are designed to offer protection to steel structures upto 120 minutes. Hempacore is a perfect solution for in-shop and on-site applications as it can be applied at dry film thickness (DFT) upto 1500 micron in a single coat thus providing flexibility by making it possible to optimize application on every project type.

HEMPACORE ONE and HEMPACORE ONE FD offer core benefits and set new standards for acrylic based intumescent. Both Hempacore ONE & Hempacore ONE FD are tailor-made to offer increased application productivity, fire performance and long term reliability. Hempacore Core range are approved to the European standard EN13381-8 and have also been launched in other countries including Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the UK, Greece, Italy, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

"همبل" تطلق مجموعة دهانات "هيمباكور" المقاومة للحريق في عُمان

كشفت "همبل" (Hempel)، إحدى كبرى الشركات العاملة في مجال إنتاج دهانات الديكور والحماية والدهانات البحرية على مستوى العالم، عن إطلاقها مؤخّراً مجموعة دهانات "هيمباكور" الجديدة المقاومة للحريق بتركيبة مطورة حديثا لحماية الهياكل الفولاذية وإبطاء إنتشار الحريق، وذلك خلال حفل أقامته الشركة لعملائها في عُمان في فندق كراون بلازا في مسقط بحضور ممثلين عن مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص. ويأتي إطلاق مجموعة الدهانات الجديدة إستكمالا لخطط التوسع الكبيرة التي انتهجتها "همبل" في عُمان في ضوء سعيها إلى تلبية كافة إحتياجات عملائها على طلاءات الحماية التي تتضمّن، دهانات مقاومة للحريق ودهانات لحماية المعادن من التآكل.
وقدم مدير قسم تطوير الأعمال للدهانات المقاومة للحريق في "مجموعة همبل"، لارس ريزوم، عرضا مفصلا إستعرض من خلاله المزايا الخاصة والخصائص التقنية المتفوقة لمجموعة دهانات "هيمباكور". وأشار ريزوم إلى أنّ المجموعة المطورة حديثا قد حصلت على شهادات إعتماد من قبل كافّة هيئات الإعتماد والتصديق الدولية وأنها تتميز بمجموعة من الخصائص، أبرزها الكفاءة والمرونة والديمومة الطويلة. وصُممت المنتجات كي توفر حماية للهياكل الفولاذية لمدة تصل إلى 120 دقيقة، وتعتبر حلاً مثالياً للتطبيقات في موقع المشروع أو داخل ورش العمل، ويمكن أن يصل سمك طبقة الدهانات الجافة إلى 1500 ميكرون في طبقة الطلاء الواحدة، مما يمنح المستخدمين مرونة كبيرة في إستخدام الدهان ضمن مختلف المشاريع وحسب إحتياجاتهم المتنوعة.
وقال جاكوب كوروفيلا، المدير الإقليمي لشركة "همبل" في عُمان: "يجسد إطلاق مجموعة دهانات "هيمباكور" الجديدة القدرة التنافسية العالية لـ "همبل" بإعتبارها الخيار المفضل لمستخدمي دهانات الحماية في عُمان، وبات بإمكان العملاء اليوم الإستفادة من نظم طلاء متفوق للحماية من الحريق وحماية المعادن من التآكل، مقدم من مورّد موثوق به."
ويوفر دهان "هيمباكور وان" (HEMPACORE ONE) و"هيمباكور وان إف. دي" (HEMPACORE ONE FD) مجموعة من الخصائص المبتكرة حيث يرسّخان معايير جديدة في مجال طلاءات الحريق المستندة في تركيبتها إلى الإكريليك. وصمم هذان الطلاءان لزيادة الإنتاجية ومضاعفة الحماية من الحريق وزيادة الإعتمادية على المدى الطويل. وتلبي مجموعة دهانات "هيمباكور" المعيار الأوروبي EN13381-8 كما وتم إطلاقه في دول عدة منها الدنمارك والسويد وإيطاليا وإسبانيا والبرتغال والمملكة المتحدة واليونان وتركيا وهولندا وبلجيكا.
وكثّفت "همبل" إستثماراتها في مجال البحث والتطوير في الدهانات المقاومة للحريق منذ العام 2009، وجددت الشركة إلتزامها بتطوير المزيد من هذه المنتجات وتوسيع عروضها للعملاء.
