Training Centre at Dubai eGovernment hosts 226 courses in 2012

Dubai eGovernment has announced that its official Jumeirah-based Training Centre, as well as the other training halls at its headquarters in H.H. Dubai Ruler’s Court, has seen outstanding performance in 2012 in terms of the training courses offered for Dubai government department employees for the use of Dubai eGovernment’s systems and services.
The number of training sessions, workshops and implementations of Dubai eGovernment’s systems across Dubai government departments has surged by 70 per cent from 2011 to reach a total of 226 courses in 2012 and was attended by 3,292 employees from 35 government departments, which represents a 160 per cent increase over 2011. These training sessions and workshops have contributed to raising the bar on practical and vocational training in compliance with the emirate’s eTransformation goal of becoming a knowledge-based economy.
Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment, said: “These figures demonstrate the integral role of Dubai eGovernment in achieving the eTransformation of the emirate, while also reaffirming that the human element is the key driver of successful eTransformation. It clearly represents our ongoing support to this process as we offer training services to all employees from Dubai government departments to help them better understand and deal with the applications, systems and services provided by Dubai eGovernment. We deliver best-in-class tools that enable them to develop their skills and tackle work challenges in the most efficient manner, while keeping the trainees up-to-date with the latest system developments.”
“Dubai eGovernment’s Training Centre represents a comprehensive transformation in practical and vocational training, with the four training halls of the centre able to accommodate a large number of government personnel. We can host several concurrent workshops and training courses to develop the trainees’ capabilities in using eServices. This is aimed at maintaining strong relations between all departments and promote corporate excellence in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve integration among government entities in Dubai,” added Bin Humaidan.
Sumaia Bin Hammad, Director of Communications and Business Development, Dubai eGovernment, explained that Dubai eGovernment’s Training and Events Management Section prepares and oversees quarterly training programs for key users from local government departments. These courses were led by a total of 39 instructors in 2012, of which 28 were from Dubai eGovernment and 11 from third parties. Bin Hammad added that Dubai eGovernment has also awarded accreditation certificates to all participants who have shown serious commitment to the program, and pointed out that these certificates are of great importance to government employees and serve as clear proof of adequate and advanced competencies. She further stated the Department is keen to provide the necessary technical support for these trainees.
“At the end of every training course, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of its effectiveness and an opinion poll to help upgrade the existing programs to meet the trainees’ varying needs and requirements. This demonstrates our efforts towards realizing the goals of Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 aimed at achieving government excellence and building an integrated knowledge-based society”, concluded Bin Hammad.

"دبي الإلكترونية" تواصل تأهيل موظفي الحكومة لتعزيز كفاءاتهم التشغيلية
دبي، الامارات العربية المتحدة في 20 مارس :2013أعلنت دائرة "حكومة دبي الإلكترونية" أن مركزها التدريبي الرسمي الكائن في منطقة الجميرا، علاوة على قاعات التدريب الكائنة في مقرها بديوان سمو حاكم دبي، قد حققت تقدماً مميزاً في العام 2012 في أداء الدور المنوط بها على صعيد تدريب الكوادر البشرية لموظفي جهات حكومة دبي على جميع النظم والتطبيقات والخدمات المشتركة التي توفرها لتلك الجهات، لإدارة متطلباتها الإدارية ومواردها المتعددة بهدف تعزيز كفاءتها التشغيلية.
وتشير الأرقام المحققة في هذا العام إلى أن عدد الدورات التدريبية وورش العمل وتجربة الأنظمة التي تسيّر عمليات جهات حكومة دبي بلغت 226 دورة؛ مرتفعة بنسبة 70% عن العام 2011، حضرها 3292 موظفاً من 35 جهة حكومية؛ بنسبة ارتفاع في الحضور بلغت 160% عن العام 2011. وتساهم هذه الدورات والورش في تطوير التدريب على الصعيدين العملي والمهني في استجابة تتوافق وتوجهات عملية التحول الإلكتروني التي تعيشها دبي منذ سنوات؛ في سعيها الدائب لتكون مركزاً لاقتصاد المعرفة.
وقال سعادة أحمد بن حميدان، مدير عام "حكومة دبي الإلكترونية"، تعليقاً على هذا الإنجاز: "تعزيزاً للدور الأساسي المنوط رسمياً بحكومة دبي الإلكترونية في قيادة التحول الإلكتروني في الإمارة، وإيماناً منها بأن العنصر البشري هو الذي يقود عملية التحول تلك ويساهم بفعالية في إنجاحها؛ تأتي هذه الأرقام تأكيداً على دعمنا المتواصل لعملية التحول الإلكتروني، والمتمثل في تأهيل الكوادر الوظيفية في الجهات الحكومية للتعامل مع التطبيقات والأنظمة والخدمات المشتركة التي توفرها حكومة دبي الإلكترونية وتستخدمها الجهات الحكومية، وذلك بتوفير أفضل الأدوات التي تتيح لهم تطوير مهاراتهم وتأهلهم للتعامل مع تحديات العمل بأعلى قدر من الإيجابية.. مع مراعاة مواصلة تدريبهم على التحديثات التي قد تطرأ على تلك الأنظمة".
وأضاف سعادته قائلاً: "يشكل مركز التدريب التابع لحكومة دبي الإلكترونية علامة تحول نوعي وكمي على مستوى التدريب العملي والمهني؛ إذ يتيح المقر بقاعاته التدريبية الأربع استيعاب عدد أكبر من موظفي الجهات، وعقد مجموعة من الدورات وإدارة ورش عمل في وقت واحد، لتنمية قدرات ومهارات مستخدمي الخدمات الإلكترونية التي توفرها حكومة دبي الإلكترونية لتلك الجهات، ما يضمن استمرار تعزيز الترابط والتميّز المؤسسي بينها؛ تحقيقاً لتوجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي الداعية إلى ضرورة إنجاز مرحلة التكامل بين جهات حكومة دبي".
من جانبها قالت سمية خليفة بن حماد، مدير إدارة الاتصال وتطوير الأعمال في حكومة دبي الإلكترونية: "يقوم قسم التدريب وإدارة الفعاليات في حكومة دبي الإلكترونية بإعداد خطط تدريب ربع سنوية خاصة بالمستخدمين الرئيسين في الجهات المحلية التابعة لحكومة دبي والإشراف على تنفيذها.. وقد تولى إدارتها في العام الماضي 39 محاضراً؛ منهم 28 محاضراً من فريق موظفي حكومة دبي الإلكترونية و11 محاضراً من جهات خارجية. ويتم إثر هذه الدورات منح شهادات لكافة المشاركين الذين أبدوا التزاماً جدياً بحضورها"، مشيرة إلى أن هذه الشهادة تحظى بأهمية ملموسة لدى موظفي الحكومة، بكونها دليلاً موثّقاً على الإلمام بالمهارات المطلوبة.. ومؤكدة حرص حكومة دبي الإلكترونية على الاستمرار في تقديم الدعم الفني لهؤلاء المتدربين.
وأضافت بن حماد قائلة: "نحرص في ختام كل دورة تدريبية على إجراء عمليات تقييم شاملة لتحديد مدى فعاليتها، ونستطلع آراء المتدربين للعمل على تطوير البرامج المعتمدة لتلبية احتياجاتهم ومتطلباتهم المتنوعة؛ انطلاقاً من تطلعاتنا لتحقيق أهداف خطة دبي الاستراتيجية 2015 المتمثلة في تحقيق التميز الحكومي وبناء مجتمع متكامل قائم على المعرفة".
