First phase of newly completed storage facility designed to handle 412,000 cubic meters of petroleum products

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has inaugurated the first phase of Gulf Petrochem’s Fujairah Oil Terminal during a ceremony held today (Wednesday, February 27, 2013) at the new facility. With a storage capacity of 412,000 cubic meters, the first phase of the Fujairah Oil Terminal is able to handle Class III petroleum products such as Fuel Oil, Gas Oil and Cutter Stock.
Gulf Petrochem Group’s new storage terminal has been constructed according to the highest quality standards. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly automated systems. These are among the key features that will add value to services being offered and ultimately drive client satisfaction. The storage terminal consists of 112,233 sq meters, which include up to 73,269 sq meters of expansion capability.

During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Hamad unveiled a marble stone, which marked the inauguration of the terminal.

حاكم الفجيرة يفتتح محطة تخزين الوقود التابعة لـ "مجموعة الخليج للبتروكيماويات"
المرحلة الأولى من المرفق الجديد مصممة خصيصاً لاستيعاب 412,000 متر مكعب من المنتجات البترولية

افتتح صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة، اليوم (الأربعاء 27 شباط/فبراير 2013) رسمياً المرحلة الأولى من "محطة تخزين الوقود في ميناء الفجيرة"، المشروع الجديد التابع لـ "مجموعة الخليج للبتروكيماويات" (Gulf Petrochem). ومن المقرر أن تبدأ "محطة تخزين الوقود في ميناء الفجيرة"، عقب افتتاح المرحلة الأولى، بتخزين المنتجات البترولية من الدرجة الثالثة مثل زيت الوقود وزيت الغاز ومواد التخفيف بالتزامن مع وصول سعتها الاستيعابية إلى 412,000 متر مكعب.
وتم بناء محطة تخزين الوقود الجديدة التابعة لمجموعة لـ "مجموعة الخليج للبتروكيماويات"، وفقا لأعلى معايير الجودة، وهي مجهزة بأحدث النظم والحلول التكنولوجية عالية المستوى. وتعتبر هذه الصفات من بين السمات الرئيسية التي من شأنها أن تشكل قيمة مضافة الى الخدمات التي تقدمها لكسب رضا العملاء. وتمتد محطة التخزين على مساحة 112233 متر مربع بما فيها 73269 متر مربع قابلة للتوسع في المستقبل.
وقال سانجيف سيساوديا، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة الخليج للبتروكيماويات": "يشرفنا حضور صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة، خلال حفل افتتاح "محطة تخزين الوقود في ميناء الفجيرة"، وهو ما يؤكد مجدداً الأهمية الاستراتيجية التي يتمتع بها هذا المشروع باعتباره ركيزة أساسية من ركائز خطط التنمية الاقتصادية في الإمارة. ونود أن نتوجه بجزيل الشكر والامتنان إلى صاحب السمو حاكم الفجيرة على الدعم المتواصل من قبل حكومة الفجيرة والذي كان له الأثر الأكبر في إنجاح تنفيذ هذا المشروع الرائد. ويأتي افتتاح هذا المرفق نتيجة لرؤية كل من اشوك غويل، مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة المجموعة وكذلك المدير العام للمجموعة سودهير غويل، ولولا قيادتهما الديناميكية وايمانهما القوي بامكانات فريق العمل لما وصلت المجموعة الى المكانة الرائدة التي تتمتع بها اليوم."
وأضاف سيساوديا: " يمثل افتتاح المرحلة الأولى من "محطة تخزين الوقود في ميناء الفجيرة" استكمالاً لإستراتيجية النمو والخطط التوسعية الرامية لتطوير مشروع عالمي المستوى من شأنه تلبية الطلب المتزايد على تخزين الوقود. ويأتي هذا المشروع الحيوي ليرسخ مكانة "مجموعة الخليج للبتروكيماويات" كإحدى أبرز الشركات الرائدة ضمن قطاع النفط، ويخلق إمكانيات جديدة لتعزيز حضورنا في الأسواق الإقليمية والعالمية. ويمثل استكمال المرحلة الأولى من محطة التخزين خطوة هامة تضعنا على الطريق الصحيح لمواصلة سعينا الحثيث لتطبيق استراتيجيتنا المتمحورة حول تلبية احتياجات القاعدة المتنامية من عملائنا في العالم."
وخلال حفل الافتتاح، ازاح صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي الستار عن اللوحة الرخامية للمشروع احتفالاً بهذه المناسبة.
