قام مهندس جزائري بالكشف عن جانب من ممارسات الغير القانونية التي تقوم بها ZTE الصينية ، في كسب المناقصات ، حيث كشف المهندس عن قيام مسؤول كبير بهذه المؤسسة الصينية بعرض 150 ألف دولار على مسؤول أجنبي يعمل في شركة جيزي للهاتف النقال وذلك كرشوة مقابل ترسية المناقصة والصفقة على ZTE  ، الا ان المسؤول  بجيزي رفض العرض واخبر قيادات الشركة الامر الذي أدى لفضح الممارسة غير الاخلاقية.
