New PEUGEOT e-EXPERT : THE EXPERT IN ELECTRIC

Peugeot pushes forward with plans to electrify its entire LCV range by 2021



(24 November 2019, Middle East) Peugeot has announced the new e-EXPERT, as it continues its plan to electrify its entire range of vans by 2021. The Peugeot e-EXPERT is further confirmation of Peugeot leadership in the light commercial vehicle market.




The e-EXPERT will be available in two versions capable of driving for 200 km and 300 km on a single charge. Custom versions of the van will also allow drivers to choose their own configuration providing emissions-free driving without compromise.




As the majority of professionals drive less than 300 km a day, an electric version of the Peugeot EXPERT is fully equipped to meet the needs of van drivers. The 100% electric e-EXPERT is available with two battery sizes:

50 kWh, for a range of 200 kilometres

75 kWh, for a range of 300 kilometres




The Peugeot e-EXPERT muscular styling has remained same as the internal combustion versions and offers the same load capacities. The latest electrified vehicle from Peugeot will be launched globally in the second half of 2020 and will continue the success of the Peugeot EXPERT which has sold more than 170,000 units since its launch in 2016.




The e-EXPERT will join the Peugeot’s robust line-up of light commercial vehicles which includes the petrol-powered Expert van, the Boxer and the recently launch Peugeot Partner which was named ‘2019 International Van of the Year’ and was introduced to the GCC earlier this year priced from $12,779.




The electrified Peugeot range, now consists of the e-EXPERT, Partner Electric, Boxer Electric, e 208, e 2008, 3008 and 508 HYBRID and HYBRID 4.

’بيجو‘ تنطلق بقوّة لتحقيق خططها لجعل كامل مجموعة مركباتها التجارية الخفيفة كهربائية بحلول 2021

(الشرق الأوسط، 42 نوفمبر 2019) أعلنت ’بيجو‘ (Peugeot) عن مركبتها الجديدة e-EXPERT والتي تأتي كجزء من استمرار العلامة التجارية الفرنسية البارزة بالمضي في تحقيق خطّطها الرامية إلى جعل كل عائلتها من مركبات الفان كهربائية بحلول سنة 2021. وتشكّل e-EXPERT مثالاً على ريادة ’بيجو‘ في سوق المركبات التجارية الخفيفة (LCV).

سوف تتوفر e-EXPERT بنسختين قادرتين على قطع مسافتي 200 كلم و300 كلم على التوالي عند شحن البطارية كاملةً لمرّة واحدة. ومن شأن النِسَخ المخصَّصة وفق الطلب أن تمكّن العملاء أيضاً من اختيار التصميم الذي يرغبون به في ظل توفير تجربة قيادة خالية من الانبعاثات دون المساومة على المتطلّبات الأساسية.

وبما أن أكثرية العملاء ضمن القطاع التجاري لا يقودون لمسافات تزيد عن 300 كيلومتر في اليوم، تأتي النسخة الكهربائية من EXPERT مجهّزة بالكامل لتلبية احتياجات سائقي الفانات. وتتوفر e-EXPERT الكهربائية 100٪ مع بطارية من حجمين مختلفين:

50 كيلوواط، لقطع مسافة 200 كيلومتر

75 كيلوواط، لقطع مسافة 300 كيلومتر

حافظت ’بيجو e-EXPERT ‘ على تصميمها القوي مثل الطرازات بمحرّكات الاحتراق الداخلي وهي توفر قدرات التحميل ذاتها. وسوف يتم إطلاق المركبة الكهربائية الأحدث من ’بيجو‘ على الصعيد الدولي في النصف الثاني من 2020 وستتابع تحقيق النجاح الذي تتمتّع به ’بيجو EXPERT ‘ التي بِيع منها أكثر من 170,000 مركبة منذ طرحها سنة 2016.

سوف تنضم e-EXPERT إلى مجموعة الطرازات القوية من المركبات التجارية الخفيفة والتي تشمل فان Expert العامل بمحرّك بترولي، مركبة Boxer ومركبة Partner التي تم إطلاقها مؤخراً واختيرت ’أفضل فان في العالم لسنة 2019‘، وكانت قد طُرِحت في أسواق مجلس التعاون الخليجي بوقت سابق من هذا العام حيث يبدأ سعرها من 12,779 دولار أمريكي.

Sheraton Grand London Park Lane celebrates iconic Christmas confectionary with the launch of the new Chocolate Box Winter Terrace

Dubai, UAE, 24th November 2019 – Sheraton Grand London Park Lane has teamed up with French pâtissier and celebrity chef, Eric Lanlard, to bring the ‘Chocolate Box Winter Terrace’ to its five star London hotel this festive season. From 20th November, the Sheraton Grand will transform its terraces into an indulgent chocolate wonderland with opulent décor and bespoke chocolate bars, paired with decadent cocktails.



Taking inspiration from the traditional treats you would usually find in a Christmas selection box, the ‘Chocolate Box Winter Terrace’ will offer five never-before-seen chocolate bars, crafted using Eric Lanlard’s exclusive recipes for the hotel. Made using the finest chocolate and premium ingredients – from a salted butter caramel bar, a dark chocolate shell encasing an oozing rich and buttery salted toffee, to a luxury white chocolate bar with a cardamom ganache decorated with edible jewels and 23 carat gold – each bar will also be paired with a delicious festive cocktail.



In addition to the limited edition Chocolate Box menu, the terraces will be adorned with festive decorations to transport guests and visitors to a wintery wonderland. From premium polar bears handcrafted out of willow greeting guests at the hotel’s entrance, to bespoke mini chalets for couples and friends to snuggle up in and enjoy a festive tipple - visitors will truly be immersed into the Christmas spirit of the Sheraton Grand London. The exterior of the hotel will also be embellished with a luxury curtain of twinkling lights, and will flow elegantly over the front of hotel.



The chocolate bars and cocktail pairings include:


The Christmas Delight, a milk chocolate bar with a fruity tanginess containing a hazelnut praline feuiletine filling paired with an eggnog cocktail and served in an elegant festive bauble with a candy-cane straw
The Winter Rose, a white chocolate shell encasing a cardamom ganache and pistachio praline bar paired with a non-alcoholic creamy cocktail created with notes of rose and cinnamon
The Sweet & Spicy, a 65% cacao dark chocolate bar with a refreshing spearmint fondant layer and completed with red marbling, is to be enjoyed with a warm rum based cocktail. Served in a glass teapot for two, perfect for sharing on the terrace during a chilly London evening, the cocktail is made with sweet honey and garnished with dry orange drawing out the minty twang in the chocolate
Copper Chokoreto, an ‘Andoa’ organic milk chocolate bar with a zesty Japanese yuzu ganache centre and copper lustre, paired with a gin based cocktail with a strong citrus taste
The Stag, a dark chocolate casing surrounding a rich and buttery salted toffee centre bar, is to be experienced with a Dalmore whisky based cocktail with hints of coffee and spice

بالو ألتو نتوركس: 13 خطوة لتسوق آمن في موسم التسوق الإلكتروني

  

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 24 نوفمبر 2019: رصدت شركة بالو ألتو نتوركس تزايدا في الهجمات الإلكترونية التي تستهدف المستخدمين خلال موسم التسوق، والتي تهدف إلى سرقة أموالهم، كما استعرضت الشركة 13 خطوة للاستمتاع بتجربة تسوق إلكتروني آمن وتفادي هذه الهجمات، وهي:

1. استخدام مدير كلمات المرور: واحد من أبسط وأفضل التطبيقات التي يجدر استعمالها رغم أنه لا يمكن لكافة الأجهزة استخدام هذا التطبيق بطريقة مباشرة.

2. حماية جهاز التوجيه وشبكة واي فاي: جهاز التوجيه (الراوتر) أو شبكة واي فاي هما النقطة المعتادة للاتصال بالشبكة في المنازل التي تنتشر فيها الحواسيب والهواتف والأجهزة اللوحية وغيرها من أجهزة إنترنت الأشياء. وغالبًا ما يتم إعداد تلك النقطة لمرة واحدة وتترك طي النسيان. لكن لرفع مستوى أمن الأجهزة المنزلية يجب التأكد من حماية الراوتر وشبكة واي فاي بشكل جيد.

3. حسابات أكثر أمنًا لأفراد العائلة: أصبحت الحواسيب الشخصية وأجهزة ماك مقتنيات أساسية في البيوت في أيامنا هذه. لذلك ينبغي تخصيص بعض الوقت لإعداد حساب لكل فرد من أفراد العائلة باستخدام كلمات مرور قوية.

4. أخذ الحيطة قبل اصطحاب الأجهزة خارج المنزل: تحتوي كافة الأجهزة العصرية من الهواتف الذكية والحواسيب اللوحية على إعدادات يجب تفعيلها عند أخذ الأجهزة خارج البيت، وأهم هذه الإعدادات:

أ. رموز قفل الجهاز

ب. تشفير البيانات

ج. تعقب الأجهزة المفقودة

د. حذف أو "مسح" كافة بيانات الجهاز في حال تكرار محاولات الدخول بكلمات مرور خاطئة أو بمجرد تفعيل هذه الخاصية عن بُعد

5. حماية البيانات والساعات الذكية وأجهزة اللياقة الشخصية: تتشابه الساعات الذكية وأجهزة اللياقة الشخصية مع الهواتف الذكية والحواسيب اللوحية في كونها تشترك ببعض المزايا ذاتها، لذلك يجب حماية هذه الأجهزة بصورة مماثلة أيضا.

6. التصرف بذكاء في المنزل الذكي. المنزل الذكي مصطلح شامل لمجموعة متنوعة من التقنيات والأجهزة التي تشترك بشيء واحد ألا وهو القدرة على الاتصال بالإنترنت. تحتوي كافة أجهزة إنترنت الأشياء بمختلف أنواعها على إعدادات للأمن والخصوصية. لذلك يجدر تفهم تلك الإعدادات قبل القيام بوصل تلك الأجهزة في المنزل.

7. عدم نسيان تطبيقات الترفيه المنزلي والتلفزيونات وأجهزة الفيديو الرقمي: عند التفكير بموضوع الترفيه المنزلي فإن الأمر يحتاج إلى التفكير بموضوع الأمن بشكل بالغ الجدية قبل الانتقال إلى الجانب الترفيهي، كي لا تتسبب هذه التطبيقات بكارثة أمنية.

8. حماية أجهزة ألعاب الفيديو: كما هو حال أجهزة الترفيه المنزلي، يجب ضبط إعدادات الأمن في أجهزة ألعاب الفيديو ومن ثم تناول الأمن المتعلق بحسابات المستخدمين المخزنة في بيئة السحابة.

9. إعداد ملفات مستخدمي المساعدات الصوتية: أصبحت المساعدات الصوتية على وجه السرعة إحدى أكثر الأجهزة شعبية مؤخرًا مما يعني قلة المعرفة بها وفهمها. ومن أكبر الأخطار التي تمت مناقشتها على نطاق واسع هي قرصنة الأوامر الصوتية وتمريرها من قبل أطراف خارجية.

10. استخدام السماعات الذكية بذكاء: يمكن النظر إلى أمن السماعات الذكية في سياق المساعدات الصوتية المذكورة سابقًا نظرًا لكونها أجهزة يتم تفعيلها كذلك باستخدام الصوت، هذا بالإضافة إلى احتوائها على مساعدات رقمية منزلية مما يجعل الفوارق بينهما غير كبيرة، ويجب عدم إغفال الجانب الأمني لهذه السماعات.

11. القيادة بأمان وسلامة مع السيارات الذكية: رغم أن "اختطاف السيارات" الذكية يرد في نشرات الحوادث التي نسمع عنها في الأخبار، إلا أن الواقع يثبت أن تطبيق الأمن في السيارة الذكية بطريقة عملية هو أمر شائع أكثر مما توحي به العناوين الرئيسية.

12. الاحتفاظ بالتطبيقات الموثوقة فقط: الجانب الأهم الذي يجب مراعاته عند تثبيت التطبيقات هو الثقة، وذلك لمنع أي تطبيق قد يحتوي على مزايا إضافية غير مرغوبة من الحصول على صلاحيات الدخول إلى بيانات حساسة مثل جهات الاتصال والرسائل أو أداء أنشطة خبيثة.

13. عدم نسيان تصحيحات البرامج: الخطوة الأخيرة في هذه القائمة هي التصحيحات والتحديثات البرمجية نظرًا لأنها أكثر الأمور أهمية والتي يجب عدم غض النظر عنها. لذلك ينبغي تطبيق تصحيحات البرامج بمجرد صدورها.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال أليكس هينشكليف، محلل المخاطر الأمنية، لدى شركة «بالو ألتو نتوركس»: "يمثل موسم التسوق السنوي فرصة هامة أمام المخترقين والقراصنة لشن هجماتهم وسرقة أموال المستخدمين، إلا أن اتباع خطوات بسيطة تضمن للمستخدمين تجربة تسوق آمنة وتقيهم مخاطر الهجمات الإلكترونية التي قد تستهدفهم خلال هذا الموسم".

AVEVA Named a Leader in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems

بجائزة "أفضل مطعم إيطالي تحت 400 درهم" في جوائز "واتس أون دبي" 2019

أعلن فوز دافنشي، المطعم الإيطالي الشهير في فندق ميلينيوم المطار دبي، بجائزة "المطعم الإيطالي المفضل بتكلفة أقل من 400 درهم" للمرة التاسعة في جوائز "واتس أون دبي 2019". كما تزامن هذا الفوز مع الاحتفال بالعيد الأربعين لجوائز "واتس أون دبي" لذلك كان الاحتفال واحدا من أكثر الاحتفالات بهاءً وحضره بعض من أكبر الأسماء الشغوفة والرائدة في مجال الضيافة.
