Tomorrow marked the first day of Electricx, Egypt’s longest running power event, alongside its sister events Solar-Tec and the Middle East Fire, Safety and Security Exhibition (MEFSEC). The exhibitions are running from 3 – 5 December at the Cairo International Conference Centre. Under the patronage of H.E. Sherif Ismail, Egypt's Prime Minister; H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and New Energy; H.E. General Mohamed El Assar, Minister of Military Production; Dr Mohammed Hisham Al-Sharif, Minister of Local Development, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing Utilities and Urban Communities and Dr. Ali Al Meselhy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trading. Electrix and Solar-Tec will gather thousands of high-profile industry experts to discuss a wide-range of topics related to Egypt’s electricity network, while fire, safety and security are the primary focus areas for MEFSEC. The three events combined will feature approximately 300 exhibitors, around two dozen VIP speakers and representation from nearly 20 countries.
