50% من الرؤساء التنفيذيين في العالم يتوقعون عمليات تحول رقمي واسعة النطاق خلال العامين المقبلين

91% من الشركات حققت زيادة في الإيرادات بسبب استخدام البيانات وتحليلها

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 29 نوفمبر 2016: تتربع عمليات التحول الرقمي على قمة جدول الأعمال الاستراتيجي للمؤسسات وفقاً لنتائج دراسة جديدة صادر عن فوربس إنسايتس بالتعاون مع شركة هيتاشي داتا سيستمز. واستطلعت هذه الدراسة آراء 573 شخصية من كبار الروؤساء التنفيذيين في جميع أنحاء العالم، إلى جانب جلسات حوارية وجهاً لوجه مع كبار الروؤساء التنفيذيين.

وفي هذا السياق قال عاصم زهير، الرئيس التنفيذي للتسويق لدى شركة هيتاشي داتا سيستمز: "تقع البيانات في مركز عمليات التحول الرقمي، وهي تعد المولد والمسرع الذي برهن أنه بمثابة العملة بالنسبة لمؤسسات تقنية المعلومات. وبسبب الفشل في إطلاق طاقات البيانات، تتأخر المؤسسات في إتمام عمليات التحول الرقمي الخاصة بها".

وعلى الرغم من أن نتائج الدراسة تشير إلى أن معظم الشركات تسير على الطريق الصحيح، إلا أن الانتقال نحو النضوج الرقمي يتوجب المرور بخمس خطوات رئيسية، وهي:

1- جعل عمليات التحول الرقمي استراتيجية على رأس الأولويات: تؤكد دراسة فوربس إنسايس-هيتاشي على أن عمليات التحول الرقمي هي استراتيجية على رأس الأولويات (50 بالمائة). كما أن التركيز الاستراتيجي على عمليات التحول الرقمي مدعوم من قبل تركيز الرؤوساء التنفيذيين على الاستثمارات، فالاستثمار في التقنيات الجديدة من أجل تمكين العمليات الرقمية هو الأولويات القصوى للاستثمار خلال العامين المقبلين (51 بالمائة)، إلى جانب مع زيادة معدل البيانات والقدرات التحليلية (51 بالمائة). 

2- ينبغي على نتائج الأعمال دفع عمليات التحول الرقمي DX: تعتبر نماذج الأعمال الجديدة المحرك الأول لعمليات التحول الرقمي DX(41 بالمائة)، تليها التقنيات الجديدة (40 بالمائة). ويعد هذا الأمر علامة على النضج، حيث تعتبر القدرة على الابتكار مقياس كبير لنجاح عمليات التحول الرقمي DX التي يتم قياسها (46 بالمائة)، إلى جانب نمو الإيرادات (46 بالمائة)، وتليها خفض التكاليف (43 بالمائة). 

وفي نفس الوقت، لا تزال هناك الكثير من القضايا التي لاتزال الشركات تكافح لحلها:

3- الإمكانات غير المستغلة للبيانات وعمليات التحليل: رغم أن أقل من نصف الشركات (44 بالمائة) تعتبر نفسها متقدمة أو رائدة في مجال البيانات وعمليات التحليل، إلا أن الغالبية العظمى (91 بالمائة) منها حققت زيادة في الإيرادات بسبب استخدام البيانات وعمليات التحليل. وفقط ثلث الشركات تعتبر نفسها رائدة في مجال تجربة العملاء، وذلك استناداً على عمليات التحول الرقمي، وهو ما يشير إلى الإمكانات غير المستغلة. 

4- المنهجية الواجب اتباعها على مستوى المؤسسة لإنجاز عمليات التحول الرقمي DX: لا تتدخل فرق العمل متعددة الوظائف حالياً بما يكفي في عمليات التطوير (40 بالمائة) أو تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات (35 بالمائة)، حيث يتم الجزء الأكبر من هذا العمل على يدي قسم تقنية المعلومات (50 و54 بالمائة على التوالي). وتعتبر تقنية المعلومات الوظيفة الأكثر استعداداً لعمليات التحول الرقمي (53 بالمائة)، في حين تتخلف باقي الوظائف عنها بما يزيد قليلاً عن ثلث العينة التي شملتها الدراسة، والتي اعتبرتها مستعدين لها. 

5- ينبغي على الشركات تعلم كيفية الجمع ما بين التقنيات والموارد البشرية بالشكل الأمثل: تقطع التقنيات كلا الاتجاهين، فهي تعتبر من أكبر التحديات (29 بالمائة)، ومن أهم العوامل المساهمة في نجاح عمليات التحول الرقمي (56 بالمائة). لكن الأشخاص لا يندرجون على رأس القائمة عندما يتعلق الأمر بكيفية التعامل مع تحديات عمليات التحول الرقمي DX، حي تأتي التعيينات الجديدة بالدرجة الأولى (57 بالمائة)، تليها التدريب الداخلي (54 بالمائة).

Electrolux Ideas Lab winner: Watch what you eat!

Recognizing a timely idea to inspire healthy, sustainable eating, Electrolux today announced WatchYourself as the winner of Electrolux Ideas Lab. The concept is a wrist-worn gadget that scans food straight off the supermarket shelf and projects recipes into the palm of your hand. 

Electrolux Ideas Lab is a global competition launched in August with the challenge question: “How can we inspire people around the world to enjoy tastier, healthier and more sustainable home cooking in the future?” Almost 40,000 people voted on www.electroluxideaslab.comto select 10 finalists, of which one now has been picked as the winner by a jury of Electrolux experts.

WatchYourself was created by Hannes Lung, a product design student from Estonia. Thanks to his innovative idea, which would simplify shopping and inspire healthier eating, he wins a €10,000 cash prize and an invitation to spend a VIP week in Stockholm. The experience is an exciting opportunity to meet with leaders and experts from Electrolux and network with creatives from Scandinavia’s most successful start-ups.

“Engagement in the very first Electrolux Ideas Lab has been fantastic and has offered Electrolux an outstanding opportunity to tap into creative minds around the world for inspiration for healthier eating and life styles,” says MaryKay Kopf, Electrolux Chief Marketing Officer and jury member. “The winning concept charmed us with its holistic approach; the creator was able to step into the shoes of consumers and solve challenges within food shopping and managing a busy family lifestyle. Electrolux Ideas Lab welcomed a host of ideas ranging from smartphone apps, food-sharing programs, innovative recipe collections, kitchen tools and life hacks to full-fledged business models.

The entries drew on trends including connectivity, 3D food printing and gamification. Apps were abundant, with potential usages ranging from food sharing to ingredient tracking, and there were new takes on products of today as well as food community and network visions of the future.

The Top 50 submissions came from 27 countries and crowd voting narrowed down the field to choose the Top 10. The Electrolux Ideas Lab jury evaluated the ten finalists and went on to select the ultimate winner, WatchYourself:

Britain won’t turn its back on Africa following Brexit

There is clearly a need in the aftermath of Brexit for there to be a degree of reassurance given to Africa that Brexit doesn’t mean that the United Kingdom is going to turn its back on Africa

Brexit does not mean that the British government will turn its back on Africa, Lord Paul Boateng, a Member of the United Kingdom’s House of Lords said Monday.

Speaking at the first ever Africa Trade Forum which is being hosted by the Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union, Mr. Boateng said Brexit presents Africa and the UK with an opportunity to “put development at the heart of our trading relationship with Africa in a way frankly that it has not always been in relation to the EPAs, let’s be frank about it”.

“The UK recognizes that and we will seek every opportunity to minimize the disruption in our trading relationship and take every opportunity to seize this chance to re-fashion the relationship between the UK and Africa in terms of trade so intra-African trade becomes an opportunity which we can seize together,” he said.

Contributing to debate on Africa-E.U. Economic and Trade Cooperation and Brexit implications for Africa, Mr. Boateng assured participants, including African Ministers of Trade, Finance and Transportation as well as senior government officials, heads of Regional Economic Communities (RECs), African CEOs and executives, representatives of international development agencies, civil society and others, that trade relations between the UK and Africa will not be affected following Brexit.

“There is clearly a need in the aftermath of Brexit for there to be a degree of reassurance given to Africa that Brexit doesn’t mean that the United Kingdom is going to turn its back on Africa and I’m able to assure you that right across the political divide in the UK, in both Houses, Africa and the UK’s historic link with Africa remains central to our thinking,” he said.

“Yes there’s uncertainty at this time, that is inevitable, when such a momentous decision is made,” SAID Mr. Boateng.

“Yes there is a hazard always when you think about the scale of the task that lies ahead in terms of mapping out the future of the trading relationship between the UK and Africa but I think I can give the absolute assurance that we see this in the UK as an opportunity to be seized.”

He said he was concerned by the issue of infrastructure in most African countries. Mr. Boateng was born and brought up in the Gold Coast in Ghana.

“I am the grandson of cocoa and cassava farmers. My grandmother grew cassava, my grandfather grew cocoa and when I look at our village in Tafo in the eastern region of Ghana, two things strike me, first of all, that in the 1950s there was a direct rail link between Tafo, a heart of cocoa growing region and Takoradi, which at that time was our main port,” he told participants.

“That rail link no longer exists and that has had a damaging effect on agriculture in Ghana but Ghana is not alone in seeing the deterioration of its infrastructure so the United Kingdom recognizes the importance of infrastructure in terms of promoting intra-African trade.”

“The second matter which I can’t but help notice, he said, is that right next door to my grandmother’s farm was a West African Cocoa Research Institute and that was a major resource for West Africa in terms of agricultural support and extension and research at the highest level so it produced every year a handful of PhDs now sadly due to decades of neglect and the impact of the structural adjustment of the 70s and the 80s, that emphasis on higher education and the link between higher education, science, technology and innovation and agriculture simply went now we are seeking to revisit that but I would argue that that too is a very important part of our struggle in order to increase agricultural productivity of Africa.” 

“Without that we are going to be in difficulties but the good news is it seems to me that is changing and the UK and our department of international development is making its contribution to that,” Mr. Boateng said.

Participants will be in Addis Ababa for the week attending the first ever Africa Trade Week, a multi-stakeholder platform for the advancement of the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA). And intra-African Trade.

في 29 نوفمبر / حضر صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، وقرينته سمو الشيخة جواهر بنت محمد القاسمي، رئيسة المجلس الأعلى لشؤون الأسرة بالشارقة، احتفالية "ثروة وطن" التي نظمتها "ناشئة الشارقة" يوم أمس الاثنين في قصر الثقافة، وذلك لاستعراض مسيرة التعلم والتطور التي توفرها مراكز الناشئة في مختلف القطاعات الرياضية والثقافية والاجتماعية والعلمية على مدار العامين الماضيين.

وخاطب صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي الناشئة، داعياً إياهم إلى المثابرة والتحلي بحب العلم والشغف بالمعرفة باعتبارها الطريق نحو بناء مستقبل أفضل، مشيداً باحتفالية "ثروة وطن" التي تمثل ثمرة تكاتف الجهود المشتركة لدفع عجلة تنمية قدرات الأجيال الشابة وتمهيد الطريق أمامها لتحقيق الريادة في الميادين الرياضية والثقافية والاجتماعية والعلمية والمعرفية، وثمّن سموه الدور المحوري لـ "المجلس الأعلى لشؤون الأسرة بالشارقة"، برئاسة سمو الشيخة جواهر بنت محمد القاسمي، في دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى بناء جيل شاب مسلح بالعلم والمعرفة ومؤهل لحمل راية النمو والتقدّم في المستقبل، مشدّداً على أهمية تفعيل مشاركة كافة الجهات المعنية في رعاية المبادرات النوعية الموجهة لاحتضان الناشئة باعتبارهم عماد نهضة الوطن.

وعاد سموه بالذاكرة ليشارك الناشئة محطات من تجربته، قائلاً // يمثل مسار حياتي انعكاساً حقيقياً لمسيرة نهضة إمارة الشارقة، التي ترعرعتُ على أرضها مفعماً بحب المعرفة والعلم والاطلاع، وكان يومي يبدأ باكراً بالدراسة بعد صلاة الفجر لأنهي واجباتي وأتفرغ للانكباب على القراءة والنهل من بحور المعرفة والقيام بنشاطات تثري شخصيتي وتنمي قدراتي، بما فيها أعمال الميكانيك والنجارة، وكنت أحرص على النوم لـ 6 ساعات فقط، ومن ثمّ أستثمر ساعات فراغي من الظهر وحتى العصر خير استثمار بكل ما هو مفيد ونافع، مردّداً في نفسي: "لا بارك الله في ساعة لا تشرّفني" //.

وأضاف سموه // استحوذت الرياضة على حيز كبير من اهتماماتي، فكان لها النصيب الأكبر من جدولي اليومي في الفترة بين العصر والمغرب، وظهر لي ميل إلى الفنون المسرحية في العام 1954، الذي شهد مشاركتي الأولى في المسرح الاجتماعي، تلتها تجربة في المسرح السياسي، وعلى الرغم من اختلاف نمط الحياة بين الماضي والحاضر، إلاّ أننا يا أبنائي نتفق على ضرورة استغلال الوقت في الارتقاء بالقدرات الذاتية والذهنية، لا سيّما في القراءة والكتب التي تمثل خير جليس وصديق لنا في رحلة الحياة، لذا فإنني أشد على أيديكم اليوم لمواصلة جهودكم الحثيثة للسير قدماً في مسيرة التميز المعرفي والرياضي والثقافي والعلمي، والحفاظ على المكتسبات الوطنية والإنجازات الحضارية المرتبطة باسم دولة الإمارات //.

وثمّنت سمو الشيخة جواهر بنت محمد القاسمي الجهود الحثيثة التي تبذلها "ناشئة الشارقة" في خلق بيئة مواتية لاحتواء الناشئة ورفد المجتمع المحلي بأجيال مبدعة من الشباب المؤهّلين بالمهارات القيادية والكفاءات الإبداعية القادرة على مواجهة شتى التحدّيات المحتملة واستكمال مسيرة النماء الاقتصادي والتنمية الشاملة لدولة الإمارات عموماً وإمارة الشارقة على وجه الخصوص.

وأكّدت سموها على الدور المحوري للمراكز في إشعال جذوة الابتكار وروح الريادة والتغيير في نفوس الناشئة كخطوة أساسية لتمكين الشباب الناشئ وإكسابهم مهارات وقدرات متميّزة تؤهلهم للوصول إلى أرقى مراتب العطاء ، تجسيداً لتطلّعات القيادة الرشيدة في إنشاء مجتمع متكامل قائم على المعرفة والتنوّع والشمولية تماشياً مع مستهدفات "رؤية الإمارات 2021".

وأضافت سموها // نعتز بالمكانة الريادية التي تتبوأها إمارة الشارقة بقيادة صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، الذي يؤمن بأهمية إيلاء الاهتمام الكامل لمسيرة العلم والثقافة حتى أصبحت الشارقة أرضاً خصبة للإبداع وفضاءً رحباً للمبدعين وبيئة متكاملة قائمة على التمسّك بالقيم التراثية الأصيلة والموروث الحضاري العريق لدولة الإمارات، ونحن إذ نحتفي اليوم بإنجازات الناشئة، فإننا نحتفي بجيل جديد من الشباب المبدع والمتسلّح بالمعرفة والثقافة لرفع شأن إمارة الشارقة على الخارطة الإقليمية والعالمية في كافة المجالات المختلفة //.

واستهل الحفل، الذي حضره نخبة من كبار المسؤولين والناشئة المنتسبين للمؤسّسة وأولياء أمورهم، بعزف السلام الوطني لدولة الإمارات من قبل فريق الأوركسترا التابع لـ "ناشئة الشارقة"، أعقبه عرض فيلم وثائقي عن أهم الفعاليات والمنجزات التي شهدتها المؤسّسة خلال العام الجاري، وسلط الفيديو على برنامج ريادي أطلقته ناشئة الشارقة وهو بطاقة همّة التي يستخدمها الناشئة لتسجيل حضورهم ومشاركاتهم والحصول على نقاط ولاء يمكن استبدالها بهدايا عينية، كما يستفيد الناشئ وذويه من تخفيضات فيما يزيد عن 180 محل ومتجر في إمارة الشارقة. ومن مميزات هذه البطاقة معاونة الإدارة على رصد حضور الناشئة واهتماماتهم، كما توفر ملف إنجاز لكل ناشئ ليطلع على مسيرة تطوره طوال أعوام انضمامه للناشئة.

وتميز الحفل بشهادات حيّة من خمسة من الشباب المتميّزين في "ناشئة الشارقة" حيث قاموا باستعراض مواهبهم وقصص نجاحهم في مجالات القيادة والموسيقى وصناعة الروبوت والرياضة والمسرح.

كما شهد الحفل عرضاً مسرحياً بعنوان "شخصية من زجاج" من تأليف الناشئ يوسف القصاب وإشراف الممثّل والمخرج إبراهيم سالم، والذي لاقى استجابة واسعة من قبل الحضور باعتباره نتاج عمل جماعي متضافر ضمن برنامج التدريب المسرحي.
