100 طالب وطالبة يغادرون إلى ايرلندا في معسكر تدريبي اليوم

"التربية" تنظم لقاءً تعريفياً لهم للتعريف بالبرنامج

• أمل الكوس: البرنامج يقدم باقة منوعة من الأنشطة العلمية المتفردة في أهدافها

الإمارات، 2 اغسطس، 2015 - يغادر اليوم الفوج الثاني من نخبة الطلبة المواطنين وعددهم 100 طالب وطالبة على دفعات، متوجهين إلى ايرلندا للانخراط في المعسكر والبرنامج التدريبي العملي النوعي الذي يهدف إلى اكساب الطلبة مهارات علمية وعملية وحياتية ضمن أرقى المدن الذكية والمؤسسات العلمية والصناعية العالمية، استكمالاً لخطة الوزارة في ابتعاث 400 طالب وطالبة، لكل من المملكة المتحدة، وسويسرا، وايرلندا، وسنغافورة.

ونظمت وزارة التربية والتعليم الاسبوع الماضي لقاءً تعريفياً في مسرح مبنى الأنشطة بمقر الوزارة، التقت خلاله بالطلبة المبتعثين، بغية التعريف بالبرنامج وأهدافه، والوقوف على ملاحظات واستفسارات الطلبة وأولياء الأمور .

حضر اللقاء 100 طالب وطالبة، فضلاً عن المشرفين الذين سيرافقون الطلبة إلى ايرلندا، ومندوباً عن الجهة المشرفة على البرنامج، حيث جرى تقسيم الطلبة إلى ثلاث مجموعات للسفر، حيث سوف تغادر المجموعة الأولى اليوم الأثنين، تليها مجموعات اخرى خلال الاسبوع الجاري.

وأكدت سعادة أمل الكوس الوكيل المساعد لقطاع الأنشطة والبيئة المدرسية، أن البرنامج يعد تجربة فريدة في أهدافه وغاياته، ويضم حزمة منوعة من الفعاليات والأنشطة العلمية والاستكشافية ذات المردود الكبير في صقل مهارات الطلبة، وتنويع مصادر التعلم لديه في ظل متغيرات العصر، وبشكل يواكب المتطلبات المتنامية لإيجاد كفاءات وطنية قادرة على تحمل المسؤولية في ظل التوجه نحو الاقتصاد المعرفي، فضلاً عن مسعى الوزارة لامتلاك الطلبة مهارات القرن 21.

وأوضحت أن الطلبة الذين يمثلون نخبة من طلبة مدارس الدولة سوف يمارسون أنشطة منوعة وسينخرطون في فعاليات وورش عمل مختلفة تعنى في المهارات العملية والعلمية المختلفة التي تسهم في تنمية روح الابداع والابتكار لدى الطالب، علاوة على تنظيم زيارات لأهم المعالم في ايرلندا بهدف تزويد الطلبة بالمهارات والخبرات العلمية.

وذكرت أن البرنامج المعد للطلبة سوف يتضمن زيارات لمجموعة من الجامعات والمعاهد المتميزة في الابداع والابتكار وتشمل العلمية والتقنية منها، إضافة إلى رحلات استكشافية وورش عمل متنوعة واجراء لقاءات مع أهم الشخصيات ذات العلاقة بالإبداع والابتكار، والعديد من الفعاليات الأخرى ذات الصلة.

وقالت الكوس إن تحقيق التوازن في شخصية الطالب وتمكينه من أدوات العصر، واكسابه مهارات القرن الـ 21، هي جميعاً أهداف تسعى الوزارة إلى اكسابها لأبنائها الطلبة، مشيرة إلى أن البرامج والمعسكرات الخارجية تمثل أداة مهمة تسهم في تحقيق هذه الغايات.

وأوضحت أن الفوج الثاني من الطلبة الذين سوف يغادرون إلى ايرلندا وعددهم 100 طالب وطالبة، سوف يخضعون لبرنامج أعد مسبقاً بالتعاون مع أرقى المؤسسات التعليمية والصناعية في ايرلندا، بهدف اطلاعهم على الفرص الوظيفية والتعليمية، والارتقاء بفكرهم المعرفي، وخبراتهم الحياتية، وجعلهم أكثر قدرة على اختيار الأنسب لهم، وتشكيل جيل من العلماء الذين يعول عليهم في صناعة مستقبل الوطن.

وذكرت الكوس أن هؤلاء الطلبة سوف يكتسبون خبرات جديدة تساعدهم على الانخراط في الحياة العملية، وتعريفهم بأهمية التكنولوجيا في القرن الواحد والعشرين، وتدريبهم على أنماط عمل المؤسسات العالمية، ورفع كفاءتهم العلمية والعملية بشكل عام، وإكسابهم المهارات العلمية والحياتية والعملية التي تصقل شخصياتهم،. وذلك للارتقاء بدولة الإمارات والصعود بها إلى أعلى درجات سلم العالمية بشتى المجالات، مما يسهم في إعداد جيل من الكوادر المواطنة القادرة على الولوج إلى التنافسية العالمية وتبوؤ مراكز قيادية بكل ثقة واقتدار، تلبيةً لرؤى وتطلعات القيادة الرشيدة.

وبينت أن البرنامج الذي سينفذ في ايرلندا متنوع، فهو يحتوي على محاضرات علمية داخلية وأنشطة ترفيهية خارجية، وسيتم التركيز على دراسة اللغة الإنجليزية، حيث سيجرى امتحان تحديد مستوى فور وصول الطلبة إلى هناك، وسيتلقون دروساً في اللغة الإنجليزية خلال تواجدهم في ايرلندا كل حسب مستواه.

وتضمن اللقاء التعريفي في الطلبة عرض فيديو عن المناطق التي سيزورها اليها الطلبة، وأماكن الاقامة، كما تم حثهم على التحلي بالأخلاق الحميدة وإعطاء صورة مشرقة عن دولة الإمارات، وتشجيعهم على التمسك بالثقافة والعادات الإماراتية والإسلامية، والاطلاع على ثقافة الآخرين بما يتماشى مع عاداتنا وتقاليدنا وديننا الاسلامي الحنيف.

Light Middle East sponsors UNESCO International Year of Light in honour of 11th century Arab scientist Ibn al-Haytham

Region’s premier lighting exhibition pays tribute to ‘Father of modern Optics’ for critical contributions to understanding vision, optics and light

A bigger and brighter Light Middle East 2015 is set to open in Dubai in October with a greater global focus, thanks to its role as an official sponsor of the UNESCO International Year of Light in honour of 11th century Arab scientist Ibn al-Haytham.

The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL), to raise awareness of how light-based technologies provide sustainable solutions to worldwide challenges in energy, education, agriculture, communications and health.

Light Middle East 2015 is a Gold Sponsor for the IYL in the same year that marks the 1000th anniversary of the ground-breaking seven volume treatise on optics by al-Haytham, who is considered a pivotal figure in the history of optics and the ‘Father of modern Optics’.

Born in 968 in present day Iraq, al-Haytham was a pioneering scientific thinker who made important contributions to the understanding of vision, optics and light. His ideas influenced European scholars including those of the Renaissance that brought Europe out of the Dark Ages.

“Ibn al-Haytham is a revolutionary scientist from 1,000 years ago whose life and work has been underappreciated, yet they have more relevance today than ever before,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organiser of Light Middle East.

Light Middle East 2015 will take place from 6-8 October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.  

The three-day event will feature more than 350 exhibitors from 27 countries representing over 430 brands, and returns with popular features such as the Future Zone – a special section that spotlights the world’s leading trends, technologies and concepts of lighting technology.

Tasneef classifies 31 ships for Irshad

Abu Dhabi, August 3rd, 2015: In line with its strategy aiming to cover 50% of the maritime Arab classification market, Emirates Classification Society “Tasneef” and Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company “Irshad”, a wholly owned subsidiary of ADNOC; recently signed a one year contract to survey and classify 31 of its offshore vessels including tugs, pilot boats, crew boats and barges. This agreement comes in compliance with the safety regulations for non-conventional ships that are not covered by the International Convention (GCC Code) which has been put into effect since the 1st of September, 2014.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Rashed Al Hebsi, CEO of Tasneef, and Mr. Ali Al Ameri, Commercial Manager of Irshad. On this occasion, Eng. Rashed Al Hebsi, CEO of Tasneef said,  “We are looking forward to expanding our services towards Irshad and we will continue our support to them by offering several maritime classification services including the annual periodical inspection of their ships to ensure compliance with the terms of crew safety; checking the efficiency, crew qualifications and required training needs; in addition to examining their  hulls and engines to confirm compliance with all the conditions related to the safety and protection of the environment.”

Al Hebsi added, “All the procedures taken by Tasneef in ship inspection processes are based on the terms and conditions of international treaties and agreements signed by the UAE, under which we will issue compliance certificates for ships complying with international standards thus, enabling them to sail and carry out their operations anywhere in the world.”

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Ali Al Ameri, Commercial Manager of Irshad said, “We are proud of Tasneef as the first Arab classification society that aims to enhance the Arab maritime cooperation. Abu Omar also considered this agreement as an important step for Tasneef towards achieving one of the most crucial strategic objectives for its establishment, considering that Tasneef has become the pre-eminent classification society of the UAE and is fully equipped, skilled and has the necessary capacity, leadership and vision to deliver the best maritime classification services. 

"تصنيف" تزيد رصيدها بـ31 سفينة من "ارشاد"

أبوظبي_  3 أغسطس 2015: تكريساً لاستراتيجيتها الرامية إلى تغطية 50% من سوق معاينة وتصنيف السفن العاملة في المنطقة العربية، وقّعت هيئة الإمارات للتصنيف "تصنيف" وشركة أبوظبي لإدارة الموانىء البترولية "ارشاد"، إحدى الشركات المملوكة بالكامل لشركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية "أدنوك"، مؤخراً عقداً ولمدة سنة يتم بموجبه معاينة وتصنيف 31 سفينة بحرية من أسطول الشركة، من بينهم  قاطرات وقوارب سريعة وبارجات؛ حيث ستتم عمليات المعاينة والفحص بدولة الإمارات. وجاءت هذه الاتفاقية وفقاً للائحة السلامة للسفن التي لا تشملها المعاهدات البحرية الدولية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي GCC CODE)) والتي تم تطبيقها منذ الأول من سبتمبر لعام 2014.  

وقد وقّع الاتفاقية كل من المهندس راشد الحبسي، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الإمارات للتصنيف، والسيد علي محمد العامري، المدير التجاري لـ "ارشاد" في خطوة جديدة تؤكد هيئة الإمارات للتصنيف من خلالها على دورها الذي بات قيادياً ورائداً في قطاع الملاحة بالمنطقة العربية.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال المهندس راشد الحبسي، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الإمارات للتصنيف: " نتطلع إلى توسيع خدماتنا المقدمة لـ "ارشاد" وسنواصل دعمنا لهم عبر تقديم أفكار وحلول مبتكرة، من خلال تقديم مجموعة كاملة من خدمات التصنيف البحري، تشمل إجراء الفحص الدوري السنوي على السفن للتأكد من مطابقتها لشروط سلامة الطاقم، والتأكد من كفاءة ومؤهلات الطاقم والاحتياجات التدريبية المطلوبة لهم، إضافة إلى معاينة البدن والمحركات، والتأكد من كافة الشروط المتعلقة بالسلامة والمحافظة على البيئة".

وأضاف الحبسي "إن كافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها "تصنيف" في معاينتها للسفن تستند إلى بنود وشروط المعاهدات والاتفاقيات الدولية التي وقعتها دولة الإمارات، والتي بموجبها سنقوم بإصدار شهادات للسفن بمطابقتها لتلك الشروط العالمية؛ الأمر الذي يمكّن تلك السفن من الإبحار والقيام بأعمالها من أي مكان في العالم".

وتعقيباً على الاتفاقية، قال السيد علي العامري، المدير التجاري لـ "ارشاد": "نفخر بوجود هيئة تصنيف عربية كانت ولعقود طويلة تمثل حلماً عربياً مشتركاً، تحقق أخيراً على يد أبناء الإمارات الذين كانوا دوماً سباقين إلى ترسيخ مفاهيم الوحدة والتكامل، ونأمل في "ارشاد" أن تكون هيئة تصنيف باكورة للعمل العربي المشترك والفاعل. كما أننا في "ارشاد" نثمن عالياً الدور الذي ستلعبه الهيئة للتأكد من سلامة سفننا ومطابقتها للمواصفات العالمية بما يعود بالنفع في نهاية المطاف على الشركة وأدائها على المستوى البعيد، مع التأكيد على حرص الشركة على تقديم خدمات بحرية وفق أعلى معايير السلامة والجودة العالمية".

وأضاف العامري: "نتطلع أيضاً إلى رؤية جميع المؤسسات الملاحية الإماراتية وقد أصبحت جميعها ودون استثناء تعتمد "تصنيف" كهيئة تصنيف ملاحي لجميع سفنها، فتصنيف اليوم لم تعد فقط هيئة إماراتية بل إنها قد عبرت الحدود وانطلقت نحو آفاق عالمية، وأصبحت شركات كبرى في العالم لها وزنها تعتمد "تصنيف" كهيئة مانحة لشهادات ترخيص السفن ومطابقتها للمعايير المعترف بها دولياً".

وعن أهمية هذه الاتفاقية بالنسبة لـ"تصنيف"، قال المهندس عمر أبو عمر : "نسعى من خلال هذه الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز وجود الهيئة في سوق الملاحة الخليجي والعربي، من أجل تحقيق أهدافنا الاستراتيجية والتي تقضي بجعل تصنيف الهيئة الأكثر موثوقية فيما يتعلق بالتصنيف البحري عربياً. ويعد إبرام "تصنيف" لهذه الاتفاقية خطوة هامة نحو تحقيق غاية من أهم الغايات الاستراتيجية لإنشائها، إذ لطالما كانت دول المنطقة تتطلع إلى وجود بيت خبرة وطني وعربي يقوم بالتأكد من معايير الأمن والسلامة وملاءمة السفن والقطع البحرية للمواصفات العالمية، واليوم باتت "تصنيف" قادرة على القيام بهذه المهمة، وأصبحت المصانع الوطنية والعربية قادرة على التعامل مع هيئة محلية تلبي احتياجاتها".
