دبي/أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 11 مايو 2026: أعلنت مجموعة موانئ دبي العالمية "دي بي ورلد" عن توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع مجموعة "الظاهرة القابضة"، وهي مجموعة عالمية متخصصة في الأعمال الزراعية تتخذ من أبوظبي مقرًا رئيسيًا لها ، بهدف استكشاف فرص استراتيجية لتعزيز الأمن الغذائي وتطوير قدرات الخدمات اللوجستية الزراعية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي وعلى مستوى العالم.
وتنسجم هذه الشراكة مع الجهود الإقليمية المبذولة على نطاق واسع لتعزيز الأمن الغذائي وبناء سلاسل توريد أكثر مرونة وتكاملاً في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. ونظراً لأن دولة الإمارات تستورد ما يقارب 85-90% من احتياجاتها الغذائية، تبرز الحاجة الماسة إلى سلاسل توريد مرنة لدعم الأمن الغذائي على المدى الطويل.
تُحدد الاتفاقية إطارًا للتعاون في تطوير حلول شاملة ومتكاملة لسلاسل الإمداد والتوريد، بما يضمن كفاءة حركة السلع الغذائية والمنتجات الزراعية وتخزينها وتوزيعها، بالاستفادة من البنية التحتية اللوجستية العالمية لدى "دي بي ورلد" وخبرة "الظاهرة" في الإنتاج الزراعي والتوريد والمشتريات.
ويشمل ذلك إمكانية إنشاء بنية تحتية لوجستية وموانئ متخصصة لاستيراد وتخزين ومعالجة وتوزيع السلع الغذائية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، بالإضافة إلى حلول سلاسل التبريد والتخزين للسلع سريعة التلف، مثل المنتجات الطازجة والحبوب والأغذية المصنعة. كما سيدرس الطرفان فرص الاستثمار المشترك في المرافق اللوجستية، وعمليات المناطق الحرة، ومراكز معالجة وتصنيع المنتجات الزراعية والغذائية، لا سيما في أبوظبي ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي عمومًا.
وستبحث "دي بي ورلد" وشركة "الظاهرة" أيضًا فرص توسيع وتحسين ممرات التوريد العالمية في أفريقيا وأوروبا الشرقية وآسيا الوسطى والأمريكتين. إضافةً إلى ذلك، سيدرس الشريكان حلول سلاسل التوريد المعززة بالتكنولوجيا، بما في ذلك المنصات الرقمية وأنظمة التتبع وأدوات الخدمات اللوجستية الذكية، لتعزيز الكفاءة والشفافية ومرونة سلاسل التوريد. وسيسهم هذا التعاون أيضاً في تعزيز المواءمة بين الأطر التنظيمية، بما في ذلك معايير سلامة الغذاء والإجراءات الجمركية، لتسهيل التجارة عبر الحدود.

Abu Dhabi, 12 May 2026: Abu Dhabi will host the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit 2026, accompanying the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026). The summit is organised by the Ministry of Interior and Rabdan Academy, in collaboration with ADNEC Group, and will take place from 19 to 21 May 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
The summit represents a new international platform launched in response to the rapidly evolving global security landscape and the growing need to strengthen international cooperation and build more resilient and sustainable security systems. It aims to bring together decision-makers, security leaders, and experts from around the world to discuss the future of security, explore emerging challenges, and develop innovative solutions that enhance institutional readiness and long-term resilience.
The summit will feature a comprehensive programme including keynote speeches by senior officials and international experts, strategic panel discussions, closed-door roundtables, research presentations, and interactive workshops, providing a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and enhanced cooperation among governments, international organisations, academic institutions, and the private sector.
The summit is expected to attract wide international participation from government officials, security leaders, subject matter experts, international organisations, and academic institutions, reflecting its global scope and its role in strengthening dialogue and cooperation to address shared security challenges.

أبوظبي، 12 مايو 2026: تنظم وزارة الداخلية وأكاديمية ربدان بالتعاون مع مجموعة أدنيك النسخة الأولى من قمة أبوظبي العالمية للأمن المستدام 2026، المصاحبة للمعرض الدولي للأمن الوطني ودرء المخاطر (آيسنار 2026)، خلال الفترة من 19 إلى 21 مايو 2026 في مركز أدنيك أبوظبي.
وتمثل القمة منصة دولية جديدة أُطلقت استجابة للتحولات المتسارعة التي يشهدها المشهد الأمني العالمي، والحاجة المتزايدة إلى تعزيز التعاون الدولي وبناء منظومات أمنية أكثر مرونة واستدامة. وتهدف القمة إلى جمع نخبة من صُنّاع القرار وقادة الأمن والخبراء في العالم لمناقشة مستقبل الأمن واستشراف التحديات الناشئة، وتطوير حلول مبتكرة تدعم الجاهزية المؤسسية والاستدامة الأمنية.

وأكّد سعادة جيمس مورس، رئيس أكاديمية ربدان، أن إطلاق قمة أبوظبي العالمية للأمن المستدام خطوة استراتيجية نحو توفير منصة دولية للحوار وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات الأمن والجاهزية.
وأضاف سعادة مورس: «تعكس هذه القمة التزام دولة الإمارات بتعزيز التعاون الدولي ودعم تطوير منظومات أمنية قادرة على مواكبة التحديات المتغيرة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الجاهزية والاستدامة على المستويين الوطني والدولي».

تركز الجلسات في اليوم الأول من القمة، على الحوكمة المرنة المدعومة بالتكنولوجيا والتأهب الوطني لحالات الطوارئ، حيث تستكشف سبل دمج التقنيات المتقدمة وتحليلات البيانات والمنصات الرقمية لتعزيز عمليات اتخاذ القرار والحد من المخاطر وتعزيز القدرة على مواجهة الأزمات.
وتضمن جلسات اليوم الثاني ورش عمل تتناول مستقبل العمل الأمني وثقة المجتمع، حيث تركز النقاشات على استخدام التقنيات الشرطية المبتكرة وتقاطعها مع استراتيجيات التفاعل المجتمعي والاعتبارات الأخلاقية، ما يسهم في ترسيخ مبادئ الثقة والعدالة والشمولية في ممارسات إنفاذ القانون.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – May 12, 2026: At a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping economies, industries, and education systems, the UAE is accelerating its ambition to become a global AI hub. Against this backdrop, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai Campus has unveiled NEXORA, a next-generation Artificial Intelligence lab designed to equip students with applied, real-world AI capabilities.
The launch comes as the UAE’s AI market is valued at over USD 3.47 billion and is projected to grow at nearly 44% annually through 2030, with AI expected to contribute up to 14% of the country’s GDP. At the same time, the country is advancing its talent agenda, with artificial intelligence being introduced into school curricula from the 2025–2026 academic year, alongside increasing employer demand for AI and data-driven skills.
NEXORA has been developed as an integrated AI environment where students move from ideation to development and deployment within a single platform. Structured across dedicated zones for ideation, learning, development, and experience, the lab enables users to conceptualise solutions, build prototypes, test applications, and demonstrate outcomes in real-world scenarios.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. S. Sudhindra, Pro Vice Chancellor of MAHE Dubai, said: “The conversation around artificial intelligence has moved from awareness to application. The real differentiator today is not access to tools, but the ability to apply them in meaningful, domain-specific contexts. With NEXORA, we are creating an environment where students are not just exposed to AI concepts, but are expected to build, test, and deploy solutions that reflect real industry challenges. This is essential to developing talent that is relevant from day one.”
A key highlight of the launch was the demonstration of AI applications developed entirely by students, showcasing practical use cases across industries. These included interactive virtual avatars for visitor engagement, real-time facial recognition systems operating on edge devices to ensure data privacy, and intelligent retail inventory solutions designed to improve on-shelf availability and operational efficiency. Additional innovations such as sentiment analysis kiosks, voice-based biometric systems, and interactive learning platforms further demonstrated how AI can be applied across customer experience, retail, and enterprise environments.
The lab is supported by advanced infrastructure, including high-performance computing systems for large-scale model development, edge AI platforms for real-time intelligence, and cloud-integrated environments for scalable experimentation. Industry-standard frameworks and tools are embedded across the ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology environments. Looking ahead, MAHE Dubai also plans to introduce a dedicated quantum computing terminal, enabling exploration of next-generation computing and the convergence of AI and quantum technologies.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, Dr. Balamurugan Balusamy, Dean and Professor at the School of Engineering and IT, MAHE Dubai, added: “AI cannot be taught effectively in isolation from its application. What differentiates NEXORA is the focus on building systems. Students are working with real data, real constraints, and real use cases, which fundamentally changes how they understand and apply AI. This shift from theoretical learning to applied capability is what will define the next generation of technology professionals.”
Designed as a cross-disciplinary initiative, NEXORA extends beyond engineering to include management, health sciences, media, and other academic domains, reflecting the growing role of AI as a foundational capability across sectors. The lab is also expected to drive research, industry collaboration, and skill development through faculty-led projects, partnerships, and specialised training programmes.
